So no more unrolling the scrolls
Or turning the pages

A flick of the screen is all it will be
To reach the final word.

I sift through the poems to see what I find
And I reached my own conclusion

We poets and artists are damaged inside and seek our own solutions

Solice in words is what we find
To make sense of all the madness

The pain no longer seeps from the nib of a pen
But from buttons that are often pressed

Our reflection lies right before our eyes
Through a journey deep into our minds

I hope that you can take these thoughts
And use it as a foundation

We will change this world one word at a time

A revolution is on the Horizon

So here I am, not sure what to write
The words are eluding me

Thought about a love song
But surely I would get that one wrong

Prehaps I should write about Suzie
And how she has broken my heart

Prehaps I should write about Society
With all its ills and wrongs

Prehaps I should write about my sad, sad life
But then I wouldn't know where to start

Prehaps I should write about my addictions
But then I would just want to get high

I am not sure what to do now
As the words are eluding me..

Rat a tat tat
The sound of a war

The Politician swings
On marionette strings

As we chant
Destroy a nation
Follow blindly and do as you are told

To question this is Heresy
Eternal Hell and Damnation.

Line the pockets of the corporate *****.
Babylons got a new King.

Nameless kids on the front lines.
Being blown to smithereens.

Johnnys come home in a black bag
The same thing happened to dad.

Mom and Julie alone now , two  mouths less to feed

Sitting in the coffee shop
I feel their eyes on me

I don't belong in public places
That is plain to see

I Prefer the walls that are at home
They are compassionate  towards me

She came here to play In the Toyland
With glistening stones and cars

The house she wants is bigger than mine
And my wallets not large enough too

I stand at the gates to this wonderland
With entrance denied to me , woohoo

I wasn't blessed with a bank account
But atleast I have a mind fit for two.

As I sit in this breakfast nook
A few thoughts I try to find

Writings of love abound
So many of feeling pain

Moulded by our life's history
We scribble down our minds

Questioning all the lessons
In the Breakfast Nook of Sanity

Today's the day I will feel upbeat
That's what flutters through my mind

But as I read all this poetry
It mostly pain I find.

Thoughtless riff raff in rank and file
Pound the Pavement
Mile on mile

Bobbing Heads
Side to side
On their way to work

They clock in at nine
And will leave again at five

These Thoughtless riff raff in rank and file.
