The Masks We Wear
Fluffy Flower Mar 2021
My façade failing, I can't keep it up,
The sadness creeps in, me no longer stoic,
My history playing, my thoughts corrupt,
Looping in my mind, like a movie flick.

There won't be help, not for me,
But remember me, as I was,
Hidden,
Behind my mask, before it smashed.

Help me, I just can't hold on anymore,
Need help, as I just cannot see the point,
What's all this life meant to be for?
When all it does is disappoint.

There is no help, not for me,
But remember me, as I was,
Hidden,
Behind my mask, before it smashed.

If I weren't around any longer,
Who would miss me? Would you?
It doesn't matter now..
My life is spent, my spirit been conquered,
So farewell mon ami.

There was no help, not for me,
But remember me, as I was,
Hidden,
Behind my mask, before it smashed.
