I don't think I'll ever forget
That moment when our eyes met

You turned your eyes away, being shy
While trying to hold your tight lipped smile
And trying to hide your glittering face

But you were late

As I was already caught in that,
In that moment of radiance

And I was lost inside your eyes,
Inside your sizzling almond eyes

Time has flown,
Years have gone by,
And I've become a bearded man

But still I'm stuck inside your eyes
Inside your sizzling almond eyes

And I don't think that I'll ever get over it.

Those were the days
When we used to dance, whenever we felt like dancing
When we used to cry, whenever we felt like crying
When a cent or two for a candy could buy us all the happiness in the world
When we did not know the most despicable art of adding 2's and 2's
When wounds of our hearts used to heal faster than those on our skins
When our tears used to shed on our faces instead of our hearts

And then "we grew up"

Which was and will always be the most terrible incident of our lives.
