Where am I going?
I remember them say:
“Stop acting insane.
Follow the track.
Hop on that train,
and never look back.”
My feet just moved forward
In soldier-like pace,
Drawn into the war—
No room to retrace.
Youth in my chest,
Bland orders in hand—
But still, my gaze strayed.
I never found rest.
First stop…
And the last.
No place for a pause,
No way to the past.
Only windows to watch
The days flying by—
Shadow and light
Under a distant sky.
My summer has ended.
My eyes have gone blind.
The sun disappeared—
With the world that was mine.
