As winter's chill begins to bite,
The sun sets early,
a fiery sight.
A blaze of orange,
pink,
and gold,
Across the horizon,
stories untold.
I pack the car,
and hit the road,
Chasing sunsets,
hearts made whole.
Through snowy landscapes,
i drive with glee,
In search of vistas,
wild and free.
The sky is painted,
a masterpiece high,
As day succumbs to the twilight sky.
I find a spot,
where the view is grand,
And watch as sunset takes its final stand.
The colors deepen,
rich and bold,
A symphony of hues,
young and old.
Soft pinks and blushing peaches too,
Dance across the sky,
in shades anew.
As I breathe the crisp air,
scented with pine,
As sunset's magic makes my spirit shine.
In this fleeting moment,
I am free,
My worries lost,
in wild ecstasy.
So let me chase the winter sunsets bright,
And bask in their warm,
golden light.
For in these moments,
i find my peace,
And the world's beauty,
my soul release.
The stars appear,
one by one,
As night descends,
the day is done.
I linger still,
in this peaceful place,
Where sunset's magic left its gentle trace.
Then back to the car,
i reluctantly go,
My hearts still aglow,
with sunset's show.
The memory stays,
a treasured delight,
A winter sunset road trip,
pure joy in sight.
