Is it you
that dreams
of being conscious
while conscious
has a dream
of being you

When self delusion
is stripped
from your bones
who are you

Could somebody
please tell me
because
I find it hard
to understand
how is it
that people say
they work hard
for the future
of their child
yet leave the future
of their freedom
out on the cold
concrete streets
to be hunted
by the wall street wolfs
like sheep

Is this
all we have
sympathy
for the innocent
who are being broken
and starved
dreaming
the same dream
of eating the food
that we
throw in the bin
is this
all we have
a strong hope
that we proudly present
to strangers
and friends
while our feelings
sadly sit back
and watch our ignorant
shallow thoughts
entertaining our mind
on how to pretend
that we
with our pride
change lives

At what level
do we vibrate
in our
psychological state
what feelings
do we create
to cover our mistakes
that we ignorantly made
to calm
our shallow thoughts
that scream in rage
every time
we try
to turn
A new page

Afraid to sleep
to disturb the dream
that when I awake
you'll be gone
just the smell of your breath
lingering
on my pillow
Of Sorrow

Are our feelings
speaking a language
we don't even try
to understand
are our morals
still preaching
tomorrow
we will stand
while our empathy
plays the game
of trying
to hide the pain
that drips
silently
from the corner
of our desperate eyes
that are slowly
becoming blind
