War in my heart
War is coming
I can hear it in my heart.
Tears run blood along my veins,
My soul starts to burn.

Voices getting closer and closer.
As I sit in the corner,
Hand clutched to the head with fear.
I scream on top of my lungs,
No one is there.
I'm losing control.

Heart so heavy,
Feels like you carrying an infinite weight.
Thoughts scrambled in a cocoon of confusion, distraught, pain and sorrow.
Lips detached but no words uttered.
A place of peace, I can't go to.
Where do I lay my head?
Faults in the stars it's what you gazed upon.
Oh heart of my heart, forgiveness is not the end.
I long for cheek to cheek.
Matters of the heart.
