The servant goes out,
Professing new ideas,
Seeming to be pious,
But wanting control instead.

The demon-spawn preaches,
Saying learn all the time,
And let the smart live,
While all others die.

The demon speaks of a great lord,
But the people find he serves no master,
So they band together to destroy the lie caster.

The people come and give him what he deserves,
A slow and painful death for something lower than dirt.

In the hallway they walk
Laughing while they talk.
But in the back of my eye,
I see the lonely guy.

Walking with head down low,
Waiting to be attacked like the coyote with the doe.
As as I saw the coyote bend,
The guy raised his head.

But in in act of god,
the coyote turned broad.
Came up to the doe
And they walked,
laughing and talking all the way home.

I wish I could fly like a bird, confident and fast
Go by like lighting, everyone else last.
I wish I could look like a bird
Beautiful and strong and have the nice look that I have wanted for so long.
I wish I was a bird, able to be free
But these chains I have put on have made it not to be.

The clouds come,
The sky grows dark,
Rain is here.

Lighting strikes,
Thunder crashes,
Rain is here.

It slows to a stop,
No more plops,
Rain is done

The boy takes his seat,
Listens intently to the leader.
writes everything down,
Hoping it will be helpful.

The boy works hard,
Following every command,
Until a contradiction appears,
Then he quickly stands.

He voices his discontent,
Much to the leader's woe,
The leader shuts him down,
But the boy will not go.

The boy goes home,
Thinking of a plan,
The next day it happens,
For the boy will be heard.

They boy brings surveillance,
Watching the leader's every move,
Waiting for another slipup,
So he can be removed.

The leader admits defeat,
Allowing the boy his voice,
The boy feels great gladness,
And sits back in his seat.

The giver of lies,
The bringer of pain,
The false prophet,
Has come again.

The destroyer of good,
Harbinger of evil,
Destroyer of souls,
Will give you an earful.

Talking too much,
Like a parrot in a room,
He will annoy you to no end,
And bring you ultimate doom.

Puts on facades,
Of good and bright,
but under the veil,
He wants a fight.

He wants to do good,
But fails at the end,
He hopes for a savior to come,
And bury him.

The lonely tree on the hill
Stands through balm and chill;
Wondering where he went to
For there was once two.

One broad, strong and bold;
The other, meek and cold.
But when they came
They brought nothing but pain.

The came with ax and saw
Walking with a mighty god.
They stopped with faces of glee
On the hill of the lonely tree.

The god grasped the saw
For there was a plan for the broad.
Cut him down and load him up,
But the lonely tree did not know for what.

They laughed and grinned, still full of glee
But the lonely tree will never forget the stump at his feet.

I wish for the day that we can be seen
and not have us considered obscene.
Though you came from a farm, and I a city,
We both know that if seen together, I will be pitied.
But I hope someday everyone will gather
and say it if fine for us to be together.
