Lost In Life's Translation
Duran Cawpart Aug 2014
As I stood in the darkness of the lost times
Chained and bound against the degradation of one's mind
Alone and afraid of the onslaught of men
Women pecking at the raw shell left of years past
Children cold and dreary as a distant winter's day
Reaching out for a hand that's never there
Like counting the leaf's of a tree on a snowy afternoon from your window
The pain of wanting yesterday
With the hope of tomorrow in sight
While still standing there awaiting the present

The Desert Thorn
Duran Cawpart Aug 2014
I lay at the view of the globe
While the hyenas circle in a frenzy of daunting laughter
I hear the lion's roar off in the distance
They enticingly gather in a scheme of bedlam
Noises fill the darkness of an empty void
Eyes provoking fear
One by one they draw near
Their blinding sight not knowing what's clear
Her female phallus hung like the pathetically futile throphy it is
Fruitlessly engorged with rage
Cruel anger fetters her ancient grunt
As they swarm my naked body with the intent to ****
Their only survival is for the scent of thrill
Every demon needs their fill
Like ghosts in the night they haunt your waking dreams
Till there's nothing left of you but skull and bones

The wide eyed girl
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
I stood behind you with my head held high
You were wondering whose this guy?
Remember our hands clasped on our first date
We were drawn together by the red string of fate
Your soul shackled and bound
Now your set free amongst the lost and found
A beauty that lies within you
Still held against the few...
Now your all grown in a big city
Just creativity...i think it's fitting
Get over your hill
With grace and flowers in your hair

Cafune
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
My anticipation awaits the moment...
I take a deep breath...
We lay looking into each others eyes...
A simple parting kiss...
Holding your head in my hands...
As the wind blows past your face...
The gentle wash of water over you...

Past, Present, Future
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
I'm here...

Looking back on you

Looking at me

Now we're on the beach

Looking back at our feet
Kicking up the sand
By the fire

Living in the moment
To see past our future

I stood there starring into your eyes

Contemplating on what's to come

Awaiting your presence,
I know it takes time

But your here now

With me there

Looking back on what was

Together as one

Realities Tears
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
We lay down a fortitude of lies
So we can only imagine what's inside
Tears fall down upon a broken face
Leaving you immobile to reality
So you push and push away insanity
Until it's shown in it's entirety
The truth can set you free
But for some we must let it be
Until they are willing and able to see

The System's Down Fall
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
It's just a systematic way to break it down
It's not the structure of the here and now
Built through corruption of paper
Not thinking of what's to come later
May we rise above and become our own savior
And change the basic human behavior
For generation's to come
Save education from it's ill syndrome

Goodmorning Sun
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
As i awake to the rising sun
Peeked through the blinds
I heard a longing for sight
A curiosity of view
As the orange lite sky
Awaits my eye
For a new day has come
A new life arrived
My beating soul strives
Just as the rising sun
Has shown itself to me
I now see
The self that is to be
You are now free

Poetic Injustice
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
Satires opposite
Compassionate disturbance
Through relevant absurdness
Behind the aristocrat's curtain
Lies means of a hidden purpose
Manipulation as their key
For the locked in propaganda to be
It's brainwashing us, why can't we see?
I've opened my eyes, take it from me
It's poetic injustice to say the least

Self's Well
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
Life is like a deep water well
When one looks on the surface
They see an image of themselves
"A self reflection"
But when one pushes past the sheer surface
of the water
They submerse themselves into the discovery
of the depth of life

My Place In Space
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
As I look to the past
for a future present
It's promising, and enlightening
with a glimmer of hope
As my ship awaits me
I embark on yet another journey
To this place
Where i shall be
Together with you
So free
My love stands through the test
You see...

As I Pasted Her By
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
Her creativity dances away with her
Her image still vivid against the blur
An obstacle in my path
A minor swerve
Her beauty a glance of hope
Her elegance faded for the moment
Will i see her again?
Only if i should pretend

The Falls Of Niagara
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
A look back at our first journey
Amongst the mist of raging falls
Men standing with children
Women confronting the cruel challenges of life
As a young boy begins to strive for a futures present
A lingering memory of scent left with a cape of dew
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
It's a shame
She wont leave my brain
Even though it may cause pain
It's what i refuse to change
Still a part of me considered absurd
A meaning that rests deep within my eye
Brought about by three simple words
The saddest of truths amongst a lie
Smiles that lite up their faces
Like children singing a rhyme
To show us our places
A pivotal moment in time
Something else to be made clear
We're worlds apart yet your still here
Next to me awaiting a breakthrough
I cant wait to meet you

Oh Brother Of Mine
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
I'm glad to have called you my brother
Even though you are of another
We're lucky to have known each other
We've come from the same mother
And share the same lover
But, knot of the same cover
Together we are indifferent to one other

Growths Perspective
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
Sometimes we grow old
For something new
Sometimes we stay young
For something old
And sometimes we stay the same
For something better
We'll always be who we are,
But we can always change who we'll be

A Foolish Weep

You
Duran Cawpart Jul 2014
You
As we lock eyes
Our thoughts echo through time
Just to re imagine
Our love will still shine
Through mysteries and shrines
Escaping our stance
We yet take another step
Just to dance
A mere reflection
Of our childish prance
Can we make it
If left to chance?

And as the left does for the right
