I Love You More
Michelle Hull Oct 2018
Dad,  listen to me pray.
I love you more than words can say.
I sit here and try not to cry
I love you more than money can buy.
My heart for you just wants to melt
I love you more than anyone else.
Outside when there is rain I sit in the house and feel your pain.
Down deep inside my heart burns I love you more than the world turns.
Every day I pray for you to come and every day God shows no one.
Someday you’ll come back for me and will be together again you’ll see.
Someday you’ll come and take me away to make up for all those days.
Now it is spring
I wish the phone would ring
So I could hear your voice once more
To tell you that my heart is sore
And whisper to you what I felt
I Love You more than anyone else

Why don’t you ever cry?
Do things just not hurt?
Or do you keep it all inside?
Sometimes I wonder when I cry
Does everyone else feel like you and I?
Short poem but I was young when I wrote this and going through the system at 10 yrs old.
