~Shower
Hannah Jan 2021
Water meets sin
over and over,
on the daily
Constantly dirtying
Fruitlessly cleansing
It is hopeless
yet here i am
Everyday,
Renewing myself
It is hopeless
I ask myself why I am here
A sense of principle?
to better myself?
One can only fail so many times before their morales shatter
It is hopeless
For others comfort?
For my own?
The prescence of others makes us filthy
We only serve to taint each other
no matter how clean we start out
It is hopeless
No, i know its Blissful Ignorance
Beneath the spray I can believe Im restored
However fantasy can only warm me for so long
Before the coldness of reality arrives
And I must despair, back to reality
It is hopeless.

Bones
Hannah Jan 2021
Bones Bones Bones
you've got bones
i've got bones
we've got bones
yet why do i feel...?
boneless?
Disattached from reality
depsite the microtubules and microfilaments holding me together
we grow stronger...
until we don't
and we crack
brittle pieces flying everywhere
getting stuck just to cause more pain
when we can no longer heal
and holes take taking the place of where greatness once lied
we are bones

~Eating Breakfast~
Hannah Jun 2020
Forgotten, overlooked, ignored
Lousy when neglecting the essential
Collapse after dinner
Wishes for morning delights
Become swallowed in the night
