The Wind
I am the wind. I am not the light.
I am the grief that walks the teary night.
I am not the joy that shines the day.
I am the misery that never wastes away.

I am the cold that makes bodies ache.
I am not the heat that brings out smile.
I bring sadness for those at stake.
I do not shed mercy for all in trial

I am sadistic and can hurt.
I am not unrealistic nor absurd.
I am real and unforgiving for all those who are living.
I am not the peace that you wish were coming.

I am the wind. I am not the light.
