She has beach eyes
A hazel ring in the center,
The golden sand
A grayish blue surrounding it
The ocean
And finally
The deep turquoise line around the edge
The line that marries the sky and the sea
Together in a beautiful way
Her gorgeous
Beach eyes
Bore into mine
As we sit and watch the sun
Set over the ocean
Darkness falls
But it doesnā€™t matter
Because I still have those eyes
To look at when the sky turns dark
When the sea is no longer a royal blue
And the sun has set beneath it
My friend told me once that that is what my eyes looked like.

Dear hurting girl,

Ā Ā Ā Ā  Dance like nobodyā€™s watching. Sing like everyone in the room is deaf. Be who you are, no matter the consequences. Be perfectly imperfect you.
Iā€™m starting to really enjoy writing these.

Youā€™re in darkness?
Iā€™ll be the light

Canā€™t find the strength?
Iā€™ll be the fight

Youā€™re suffocating?
Iā€™ll be the air

Your heart is broken?
Iā€™ll be right there
Most of the people who this is to wonā€™t read it, partly because 2 of them canā€™t read yet, but I know one of them will. You know who you are. ā™„ļø

Everyone says that you care about me,
But Iā€™m not sure if you do
Please
Tell me,
Do you really care what happens to me
Or am I just another thing you need to do?
Another child you are responsible for?
Am I really
Not important enough
That you can just stop coming to see me?
I guess thatā€™s how you feel
And I canā€™t change that

There are so many things
That are confusing to me right now
But the one thing that is clear
Is my love for you
