Ethereal Blossom
Alac Robinett Jan 2021
Lakeside where the words can meet,
Find in my heart what has worth to me.
Move when my thoughts drift to greater things.

I’ve got a glimpse of something beautiful,
A blossoming bloom ethereal,
Made from death's dark material.

Beauty unbeknownst to men,
On the other side of the rivers bend,
Silently quieting the words within me,
As I drop my pretense.

Ethereal flowers dot my path,
Growing in the aftermath,
Of a war so bitter and old.

Life can be hard,
So difficult,
A hard packed traveled road.
