No matter how many miles I travel...
It doesn't matter how fast I go.
I will never out run my thoughts of you.
I haven't found the amount of drink to wash away or drown the pain.
My mind is cursed with thoughts of you.
Enough to drive me insane.

Maybe even just the glimpse forced you to think of me today.
I haven't cried in so long, as I fight back a tear to emerge from my eye.

Funny how things happen for a reason. If I hadn't missed my turn our paths would not have crossed.

But then again maybe it wasn't and maybe I am not in your thoughts.
