I become the words,
silent chaos on paper unfolds,
from the mind's darkness
feelings come to the fore
All to find a pulse again,
hobby is too fancy a word.
Brings down the stakes when
all you want is to be heard.

Her song levies a listen,
worth giving your ears unto.
Breathing life into your day,
awaken you from tuesdays' gray.

She sings of midsummers' rain,
her fling with men who drink,
of never having a home,
how she saw the world as her kin.

For whatever you spare for change,
she pours her heart onto the street
Her song and she never had a name
music is how she could ever eat.

Her song levies a listen,
will kickstart your broken heart.
The town holds on to her 'cause
her songs keep it from falling apart.

The crown will go to the one
who hath on his head wisdom
The one to forgo entitlement

Forever is a minute,
for a man who wastes none
Seizes every moment
A man who get things done
Remembers his work
but never forgets to have fun
Lives like it's his last
Knows the only time is now.

The burnt nights,
showed as black around his eyes.
Unkempt, without a fight
the only frown in a city of smiles.
A walking blackhole
where dreams meet their demise.
Letting go has taken a toll
and not moving on came at a price.

The fires burnt at first but forged me in the end
Bore through the winters numb, refused to bend
A bit of dark,a bit of light shaped the human inside
Out comes the butterfly, out from its hide.

The kind of people who,
come into one's life a few
breathe life into the void,
help write your story anew
and as you made moments,
so did moments make you
wishing a happy birthday,
to one such person I knew.
To a girl I knew
