The seeds which bore us
Across the vale
Endlessly flee witness
In salt-tear gale

About about
The dark they blow;
we were born for the land
of wind and snow

Across the silent
Snow-sown sea
The dandelion clock ticks
As the white leopards flee

And in the valley
The coyote sings
The last symbol of fate
Endless winter brings

Music
Slides from your eyes, hands,
Guitar strings
Voice
into
my senses like

wine
elixir
Cut grass
Woodsmoke

The demons of your mind
Are the demons of mine
The animals tearing the surface
Of a pinpointed, widening iris

The delicate lisp of
The depths burning
The surface
The sarcastic twang of an
Upturned syllable

Starry twinkles
In the corners of your mouth
Mirrored in my
Starry
Iris whispers

And the music
Of
Every whimsy
Sliding into my eyes

Like wine
Spilt on a dartboard
Waiting to be hit

Rosy-blue
The sunset wilderness
Of blackened thorns and dust

I am spread out, laid out
Beyond the distance in glowing-line
The raw shock of white rocks
Land sunset green
The humming flickering close
Within, the songs of joy
Children sing with their bodies as they run

Butcher's corner
Night thickens
Ready for the visions
loud and sound

Bridge of locks
icy water
someone waiting

Quiet gambler
-catch me roaming
in the streetlights
with your headlights
full bloom
B Yeung Feb 2017
I came home late
to find you curled up
inside my mind
