Miles behind my back I’m сhasing the lucky star I’ve worn my shoes out But the goal is still far away I was so foolish and crazy I was so foolish and crazy I guess I should have known It was just a mirage The charms of beauty and glamour Is fading like an evening glow I have a penny in my pocket And shards of broken bones I read your burned letters I catch smoke with my hands And grass is growing under my feet All the time I was just standing here I was so foolish and crazy I was so foolish and crazy I guess I should have known It was just a mirage

Mirage
I just wanna be with you tonight But all the trains have already burned down And I'm frozen on the other side The winter winds blow in my mind My little house hid in the snow There are a thousand bottles of *** I will survive the apocalyptic show What else to do I don’t know I drink black tea with berries of loneliness This is a stupid mystical rite I look at the sky I'm blinded by emptiness But in the heart there is still light I just wanna be with you tonight But all the trains have already burned down And I'm frozen on the other side The winter winds blow in my mind

Frozen
Harry casts bullets every **** shift He beats up his wife and watches TV At any time he could sneak away to his neighbor But he goes to the garage to play the blues Maria is a granddaughter of a witch She burns candles and sings sad songs Her grandmother seduced all the men in town And the girl lives alone So many strange people So many sad eyes Resembling a steeple Their hands clasp… And time flies… Kelly works as a milkmaid at a farm Village children come to her with a jug Every night she prays to God to send her a baby But her doctor says there is no such drug The wino priest Austin carves wooden birds Every night he waits for UFOs Fifty years on, there’s no signal from space And on the grave of his son there’s a fresh red rose. So many strange people So many sad eyes Resembling a steeple Their hands clasp… And time flies…

Sad Eyes
Bottle in his pocket, ragged coat. Struggling too hard to stay afloat. Sailor, be brave! Never stop! Drink all night long to the last drop. A long time ago he set sail. He met a mermaid, and he felt so frail. He never knew love, what the **** And ever since been lost in the dark. He crossed all the oceans. His chance didn’t come. One may blame it on rainy weather Or was it too much bad *** He saw the ghost of love in the rain And ran to it, almost insane. He reached nothing, but for the dark. He’d never get rid of bad luck. He crossed all the oceans. His chance didn’t come. One may blame it on rainy weather Or was it too much bad ***

Bad ***
A lonesome man on the subway, Reading a book of dreams. Live to fight another day! Life is not what it seems. You move in the shadows, A fallen angel of love. Farewell to sunny meadows, Heart is beating, a wounded dove. You roll down. What’s happening in your brain? Your mind's an empty town. And love is  worse than ******* Women with wild black eyes Overshadow your weak mind. You will never know paradise, You have left it behind. There’s no need to hurry.   There is no story to tell. And your smile is somehow blurry. This road leads straight to hell You roll down.   What’s happening in your brain? Your mind's an empty town. And love is  worse than *******
