flicking past overdone poems
on burnt topic of broken hearts,
these tear-sodden sonnets,
make me a little grateful
my heart is underwhelmed.

let me love you like a storm,
dark,
dazzling,
domineering,
I can be your very own tempest,
I will sweep you off your feet,
I will take you to oblivion,
and love you like you've never been loved before.
I could break you,
like cracks in fine china, I
could break you,
all of you,
till you are,
nothing,
and you will love me for it,
and you will be broken in the most beautiful of ways.
I could kiss you,
I'll be your greatest pleasure,
my lips will hold yours with the promise of forever,
I will touch you like I am not meant to let go,
my fingers will splay algorithms as they explore the length for your torso,
You will hate me for it,
for make you feel this good,
but take heart my love,
one day you will kiss me,
and you will like it.
I could need you,
like barks need the north star,
I could be your star,
I will shine, and twinkle,
become yours like the careful ********** of promises,
I will never leave,
I will be constant,
consistent,
for as long as we are,
I will need you like the stars need the dark blue sky,
and some day,
when you love me back,
we will write our names in skies that stay blue,
and we will be our own forever,
stripes of dark brown and navy blue.
I can be your light,
your very own sun, wrapped in skin, bones, and tissue,
I can shine for you,
hot and passionate,
like the remnants of our love on the white fabric of our sheets,
I will heat you up,
all the way up,
but you will not tell me to stop because we love the pain,
and we will love, till it kills us, and marks us black and dark blue.
I will love you, like you are worth loving.
Every inch of you, like you are my life,
I will love with my soul,
I can be yours,
let me be yours?

your eyes are deeper than any poetry i've ever read.
i've tried to write them in six-word poems
but it can never quite capture their depth.
i've tried rhymes
and sonnets
and haikus
but i end up dreaming of them instead.
i'm lying on the roof
looking at the stars in the skies
and wish i were looking
at the ones in your eyes.

the air is crisp
as i sit on the front
verandah, snuggled up
in wooly hoodie, flannel
pyjamas and ugg boots
hands wrapped around
a large mug of steaming
coffee
watching those with more
enthusiasim, than nouse
riding up the hill in bright
lycra body suits.
the weekend pelaton rides
on to wherever.

I opened my eyes,
and found a school.
I opened the school,
and found a hoodie.
I opened the hoodie,
and found a girl.
I opened the girl,
and found my friend.
I opened my friend,
and found a heart.
I opened her heart,
and found love.
I opened the love,
and found friendship.
It's nice to have friends who
Care about true you..

When I gave you my hoodie, it was so you could see my heart on the sleeve.
Plus you were cold.
Now winter has thawed and summer is here, you don't want these arms anymore.

Until now I thought that I was over you.
But I realized that I was not.
I have not been able to wear my red hoodie.
The one that I used to wear when we were walking together.
The one were you would put your hand up my sleeve and hold my hand. The one with our memorize.
So I wore it for three days in a row to convince myself that I am over you. Mission accomplished.

Snuggled up in your hoodie
You said it looked good on me
As we walked between trees
Looking for a place to go
Somewhere you could smoke
It smells like your cologne
So as I lay here alone
It’s as if you’re still here
Whispering sweet nothings into my ear
Still remember the first sight
The first time
And the last
But all that has passed.
You taught me how to steal
How to feel
That thrilling appeal
In fact this very hoodie
Was one of your five-finger discounted goodies
I took a top from Good Will today
Just to feel the same type of way
As when you were by my side
It was like you were there along for the ride.
Cannot wait till I see you again
My soul aches for its best friend.
