We are creatures of flesh and light and movement.
We go through life.
Things happen.
We do things.
We remember things.
Our past is not a term paper for someone else to grade, or a map on our skin for society's gaze.
So lay off.
Gain some wisdom and some understanding.
Find some humility and some awe.
Go sit by the sea and think about it for days on end until your head hurts and you are thirsty and all you want is her - however she is, whoever she is, wherever she's been, whatever she's done.

When did we end up being the lonely ones?
Constantly surrounded by hundreds of people, fleeing through our senses
Yet leaving nothing but trivial impressions behind
We find ourselves restlessly captured in the wilderness,
desperately trying to suppress our affiliation need
However, despite our persistent attempts of capturing a single gap of sky in this obscure madness
I still sit here alone at night,
shedding my lonely and trivial thoughts on a solitary piece of paper
Al though,
the world is just a simple click away

As the pale snow thoughtfully found its way down to the harsh earth
my mind wandered alike in to the past
and suddenly it hit me
as i spend my time longing for you
you were slowly changing in to something,
even my blind love couldn't recognize

We write down the words, we are to afraid to say
and although we wish to be heard
our voices are silent
We desire the acknowledgement of a bigger audience
yet, our words are loaded for a special someone in the crowd
so if you do stumble across this
and read it someday,
I hope my words will speak louder than my actions

they searched for happiness
in the pitch dark night of mysteries
I continually searched for you
but yet again
you were nowhere to be found
and my heart remains scared
cause while I in despair follow the footsteps you ignorant left behind
she is wiping them away in the twilight

Now that you have taken my every little breath
filled in every single space
I have no vigour left,
for this merciless chase
my heart, taken as theft
for the last time,
i will kiss your fragile face

Oh,
how your sapphire eyes and seducing laughter
softly, yet frightening
sends paths of associations trough my veins
timeless nights,
burning sunsets,
carefree roars of laughter
Insignificant parts of the past
So tell me,
how come I desperately hold them tight
in my desolating hands
