40/M/American (San Juan, Puerto Rico) Poet, author of "la invención del desencanto" (2008), "La Palabra del Pecado" (2014) and the blog "Los Sueños de Imhotep" since 2004.
this is a translation of a poem written in spanish called "tus palabras" *"...You say you understand, but you don't understand, you say you'd never give up seeing eye to eye, but never is a promise, and you can't afford to lie..." —Never is a Promise, Fiona Apple* I love sitting down to see the words come out of your mouth watching how they flee desperately like caged wild birds only to become musical notes that disappear like flames after consuming their fuel making melodious sounds while they wither away I'm fascinated it's like watching a half-drizzle rainbow vanish as the cloud moves away I get wrapped up only because they are a marvelous illusion

your words
a moment of clarity a single drop of sensibility and reason unveals itself making me crazier the knot unties itself the rope unravels and I begin my descent into the unknown beautiful unknown it excites me just to think you I know not, but it's clear to me... ...you have waited for me as I've just realized I have waited for you the truth is pure insanity!

in an instant of lucidity
when dreams have vanished carefree *** would be the first thing to come to mind however, this time *** will not suffice i need attention a friendly ear with an open mind a dangerous heart but a kind spirit a regular do gooder with the face of a woman who will tell me how easy it is to let oneself fall and how great it is to rise up again and again... and again... and yet again. i am afraid that i might really find her

your hands
gravity has pulled its attraction from under me I feel myself drifting slightly torwards the blue I try to grab the thread you left behind but I'm afraid it’s too thin it won't hold me or any of the memories of you and I'm left with just that one that only one
