Doktor Howl (1925-present) is the last survivor of the Old Bohemians Club, and is considered a rather unexceptional poet, who should probably remove his irons from the fire and put his poems in their place. Although he hasn't been included in a poetry anthology since the second world war, he has a pile of rejection slips that grew so large, it fell over and killed his wife. His work has not been translated into any other languages, unfortunately, as they don't seem to bear any relationship to the language he wrote them in. Doktor Howl is an accomplished scientist who has been banned from the campus of every major American and European university for what small-minded detractors call "unnatural acts", relating to his experiments.
