Born in the San Francisco Bay Area in 1973. Deanna started writing poetry in 1985, but her first published book of poetry, "Lost Loves...Found Strength" wasn't published until 2007. Lost Loves is a compilation of 90 poems written between 1988-2007. Currently, Deanna is self-publishing all new material to Amazon Kindle, (www.amazon.com/author/deannaoaks). New books announced on twitter @dmro or via her blog deannareposeoaks.blogspot.com. In her spare time, Deanna is also working on her first full length novel.
