I'm 22 and I make time to write everyday. I usually spend an hour a day on writing whatever comes to mind. I draw inspiration from things I've lost and I typically write seemingly upsetting things. Once upon a time
Sleep was an escape for me
But as you know
Time wears on
Now sleep is avoiding me
At first, I was a happy man
Who smiled at all he sees
But as you know
Life goes on
Now heartache is my company
I could live the lives of a thousand men
Traveling endlessly
But as you know
It takes a moment
To salvage sanctuary
So once upon a time
When time wasn’t a thought

To live a life that I never known
Is to love a woman who never shown
I saw her once at the dusk of summer
To fall and spring at the end of winter
With summer returning and hopes raising
To see her again would be surprising
I stayed up late nights to see if she'd come
To no avail my hopes had run
To my great enjoyment I spoke too soon
I'll call you early to make plans for noon.

Your eyes so delicate as morning wind
I woke to find you
Reading by candle light
The way you found me
It's as though we’ve been searching all our lives
And I know there was so much more to be given
But I left you alone that night
That was when I found myself someone better
All the promising I would never become my father
I wish I would’ve treated you better

Mark December for your departure

Believe what you see
We’re in a big black hole
No way to be certain

But I’ve been one to notice
That the present is like the past
And all our dreams are in focus
But we can’t seem to make them last

At the end of a tunnel
