25 Just getting into poetry and figuring things out as I go. Mostly writing what feels difficult to say out loud.

nothing feel spine hold slowly never phoenix burn every flame felt left place around absence soil crimson core roots warping find meaning madness set heart ablaze ashes tar taste onyx airways lungs corrode away single breath feeds another thought spark something anyway embers sink skin immolate whats mine kindling becoming part design settle illuminate watch travel lighting line veins roadmap spread extremities burning past memories escalate climb little higher warm embrace takes control leaves wake cinders pile beneath feet smoldering flaring myself dissipate flames rising here disintegrate ribcage cradling roses bloom thorns budding reaching downward finding wrapped stems constricting coiled planted really seeded center only held growing inward petals formed withering fragments silently ignored blight begins twisting bone longer stilled stone still cradled unchanged alone
