Snowflake on my lips, The frost upon your breath; Just a fleeting glimpse Of the life that precedes death.

Midnight Stroll
You are no longer the rose I once knew; your petals have fallen, your eyes without hue, and gone is the songbird who once flew to you, who made your heart dance and flutter and swoon It killed him to see you (so painful inside) and each each time you withered a part of him died. He often returns to the field where you played but no more will he return to love's grave.

Her hair smelled of the sweetest fruit and fell on snow white skin Her lips he wanted to devour, they were so soft and thin He gazed into her eyes so blue; like deep caves of sapphire And saw her soul so pure and true, dancing deep inside her She gave a coy smile, his heart skipped, a beat never returned She felt his joy envelop her, and of his love she learned. She threw her arms around his head and laughed a seraph's song She gazed intensely through his soul and then their loves were one.
