I wish I could walk a clearer path,
A glamorous path with lots of light.
Why am I here in this broken road?
A broken road with no sign of gold.
Men in suits stroll in smooth precious tiles,
Accompanied with those poker smiles.
Ladies strut wearing light fancy hats,
Carrying a small bags and Persian cats.
I seek a poverty escape route.
What I found was the voice of a mute.
Should I walk in sharp thorns barefooted,
Or mingle with elites, unwanted?

Oh Bantay ang paborito kong alaga
sa'n ka nagpunta't di na kita nakita
lambing mo sa aki'y nais kong madama
paborito kong Bantay andyan ka pa ba?
sinilip sulok ng kwarto at bodega
sa ilalim ng papag hanggang kusina
naglaho na si Bantay na parang bula
alay ko sa'yo ay isang baldeng luha
sa'king paghahanap nakita ko'y pusa
masigla, malambing, at nakatutuwa
batid kong silang dalawa'y magka iba
subalit sila sa aki'y nagpasaya
Kuting patawad kung di kita mapulot
mawalan ng alaga ay anong lungkot
di ko maatim na may batang lumuha
sa dahilan na ika'y aking kinuha.

In torture chamber, a prisoner lies,
A wicked tyrant, weaving endless lies.
Death keeps approaching, a shadow unseen,
An entire clan mourns, their hearts torn between.
Seas are boiling, my heart starts to melt,
Dust fills the air as a cold wind is felt.
A lone wolf at night, in the dark, it fights,
While my body shreds, in an endless nights.
Cries of a thousand souls reside in me,
No one hears, but they scream endlessly.
The pain that we share, the weight that I hold,
Shushing people with stories untold.
I am them, and they are all inside me,
Bound by the torment, forever we'll be.
I made a cure, a poison I consume,
Ending our pain and rest in frozen room.
A body of thorns, a soul so torn,
consumed by silence, in night reborn.
A melting heart, a fading art,
A tower bombarded apart
