19/F/Virginia I’m a cancer so I’m full of pure emotions that tend to fluctuate. All my poems are a reflection of my emotions; whether it’s love, sorrow, or hatred. My poems are a reflection of me and how I feel, and maybe you might just be able to relate to them.
Stuck in a obscure reality Thinking I’m starting to lose my sanity Hard to keep a positive mentality When the worlds trying to **** the life out of me They’re trying break me Take my vision so I can’t see Can’t let them get to me Snakes all around me don’t know who to believe Me, myself , and I that’s all I need That’s my trilogy

Trilogy
Listen to my voice as I sing I need silence as my high and low notes ring From a gentle spring To a raging sea It’s crazy how life can change so drastically One minute you’re free Then stationary like a tree Listen to this song of life A bitter sweet melody

Bitter Sweet Melody
A smile so bright But your eyes beg to differ Behind that bright smile is something much dimmer I’m looking into the eyes of a scarred sinner It’s like I’m looking into the mirror Of my own tortured Soul It’s so cold I wish more than anything to give it warmth So come forth Let me transform you Your damaged I’m damaged too But together we can make it through

Broken
I don’t want you to go But I can’t ask you to stay Especially after all the pain I caused, left you astray I wish I could change The past Then maybe we would last I plucked your petals But listen to this love letter I want nothing but a bright future for you Because the shine truly shines for you And with that light you’ll bloom You’re petals will come through I’ll always love you

Untitled
Black woman Why do you cry Don’t you see the envy in all their eyes Yes but I also see the hatred in their hearts As they add my features to their shopping carts They pick and choose With nothing to lose They could never survive a day in my shoes See they could never carry the weight on my shoulders They would shatter like glass under a boulder Yet my strength goes unrecognized And all my actions are criticized Ostracized by society Put in one category As if black women don’t come in variety You’re on the outside looking in like an observatory You don’t know my true story You asked why I cry Well Now you know why

Why?
I met the Moon I feel in love with the view It radiated it’s light into my dark room Allowing this Night Flower to Bloom All those phases it goes through Some darker than others But no matter what it’s light always shines bright Asteroids and meteorites Collided causing craters in its surface Far from smooth yet so imperfectly perfect I met the moon I feel in love with it too

My Moon
Stored away in a *** Is a concoction Made of a mind full of unsaid thoughts And a heart full of hurtful emotion Set on the stove With only one motive To Poison The ones who left me astray Left me to wilt away and decay You’ll hear what I have say These hurtful feelings will now be served your way I hope you like the way it taste Because this concoction is something only you could create The way you caused me pain And then just walked away Going about your day As if everything was okay Left me in is disbelief They say revenge isn’t the key but it is my relief

The Poison ***
Self love ? you are my love I love you more than myself You are my wealth My most prized possession My obsession the love I have for you is so strong I beg please don’t string me along Because I truly feel we belong But if I’m wrong Let me know So I can go Right now I can handle that sorrow But later on I just don’t know If I’ll be able to handle a pain so great So love tell me our fate

What’s It Going To Be
You cracked my heart in two So I shed a million tears over you But don’t be misconstrued Because each tear sowed a seed With the absence of your parasitic weeds And your darkness removed The sun began to shine through Then the strongest of trees grew Bearing the sweetest tasting fruit When you become tired and hungry en route Once your life starts to drought My trees will be no where in view My orchard will not be there for you to uproot The sweet nectar of my fruit will not be there to help you push through This fruit will not be your next meal The shade from my trees will not offer you shelter to heal Because my orchard is sealed By an impenetrable gate of steal

Sacred Orchard
Where will I go when I die Will I rise to the sky Or sink to my fiery demise Will my bones decay And my soul remain Heaven or Hell which will my soul claim Sometimes you have to throw low blows in this fight called life To avoid those poisonous snakebites So yes I’ve done wrong but I’ve also done right Understand that there are things I wish I could rewrite But I can’t So it’s out of mind and out of sight I won’t make the same mistakes twice Keep that in Mind when you choose whether or not I see your heavenly light
