I use poetry as an outlet for my rough childhood and to help deal with the pain of those dark experiences. A lot of my poetry is a release for me, full of dark imagery and pain. The flipside is full of romantic dreaming and hopefulness. I also process my relationship issues through poetry. / / I was first inspired by a waitress on family vacation as a young child and then was lovingly bought my first poetry journal at 16. It was then I was first called a poet and encouraged to explore my creative influences, which bloomed with romantic notions.
