A name should say it all. / A name, the words thrown / At the world, the words / That live centuries later. / Words so powerful words / to make or break, the very / Words from clever minds, / Minds simpler struggle to see.
the house next door makes me sad. both man and wife rise early and go to work. they arrive home in early evening. they have a young boy and a girl. by 9 p.m. all the lights in the house are out. the next morning both man and wife rise early again and go to work. they return in early evening. By 9 p.m. all the lights are out. the house next door makes me sad. the people are nice people, I like them. but I feel them drowning. and I can't save them. they are surviving. they are not homeless. but the price is terrible. sometimes during the day I will look at the house and the house will look at me and the house will weep, yes, it does, I feel it.

safe
I want you to know one thing. You know how this is: if I look at the crystal moon, at the red branch of the slow autumn at my window, if I touch near the fire the impalpable ash or the wrinkled body of the log, everything carries me to you, as if everything that exists, aromas, light, metals, were little boats that sail toward those isles of yours that wait for me. Well, now, if little by little you stop loving me I shall stop loving you little by little. If suddenly you forget me do not look for me, for I shall already have forgotten you. If you think it long and mad, the wind of banners that passes through my life, and you decide to leave me at the shore of the heart where I have roots, remember that on that day, at that hour, I shall lift my arms and my roots will set off to seek another land. But if each day, each hour, you feel that you are destined for me with implacable sweetness, if each day a flower climbs up to your lips to seek me, ah my love, ah my own, in me all that fire is repeated, in me nothing is extinguished or forgotten, my love feeds on your love, beloved, and as long as you live it will be in your arms without leaving mine

If You Forget Me
I do not love you as if you were salt-rose, or topaz, or the arrow of carnations the fire shoots off. I love you as certain dark things are to be loved, in secret, between the shadow and the soul. I love you as the plant that never blooms but carries in itself the light of hidden flowers; thanks to your love a certain solid fragrance, risen from the earth, lives darkly in my body. I love you without knowing how, or when, or from where. I love you straightforwardly, without complexities or pride; so I love you because I know no other way than this: where I does not exist, nor you, so close that your hand on my chest is my hand, so close that your eyes close as I fall asleep.

XVII (I do not love you...)
A light as bright as any, shielding, Dodging balancing on its feet. A light, spreading through all, A touch, a gaze, it took to all. It glowed with love danced in trust. A smile stay put on its face while The soul wandered this holy maze. It took no care, a life passed in a hurried glare. It stopped To look around, to know the life That was its alone.Little did it know The path, it stumbled, lost and bled along. It tried to reach all, a shove, a pull That was all. All love gone all trust Dwindled, it looked inside only to find Nothing to kindle.A light how could it Be when it sees nothing, just the faint Echoes of what it could’ve been.

A Ball of Light
A shiny little thing, so small, So precious, amidst a pile of stone. Fluttered its eyes open, beaming As bright as the sun. A shiny little thing, lost in the stones, Dark and gray, they gathered, like Rain clouds in a howling storm. A shiny little thing, drowned in absurd. Her shine dulled, her spirit flickered. She folded her arms, gathered her light. Shiny little thing, take no mind, for A stone never knows what it does. A shiny little thing, weak and dull, Move under the stones, you Will be crushed. Look onto yourself, Crushed, hurt and sad, yet far more Brighter that those who ripped your heart.

A Shiny Little Thing
You are the smile that lights me up every second. Each memory, a dusting of happiness. You are the warmth that seeps into me, a small whisper of hope in my darkest days. My eyes swim with each grin, each jape, That had passed between us. Our days, bright and shiny, in a sea of haze. I know, I‘m not the best of friends, I know, I can be the clam and crab at times. But you my friend, you are the companion, One hopes for, the perfect accomplice, My masked wicked dreamed of. A tear floats over spilling, Running down my cheek. My heart, Squeezes at your image, a mirage . My heart no longer listens, so do these? Wayward drops washing my eyes. You know its crazy, why it cries At your buck teeth or your color blind Fashion and pig tails? I’d never know. But you knew. You knew it was hopeless, You knew it ****** And, you stayed, Whatsoever. You stayed to give us The best of memories, you stayed to tell me, I am here. So what if I’d forgotten. You know, you are there in my thoughts, Always. A diamond among pebbles, You shine in my mind, always and ever.
