I just like to write.
Curled up In the corner Like a starving dog Tears In my eyes Like a stormy fog I almost kissed The sky 'Till I realized The sun's coming out And it's all too bright I wanted to smile Without feeling strained The feeling Comes for awhile Then it leaves again When it rains

When It Rains
I love my dog I love the way he smiles When I Come home The love the way he grins And lolls his tongue When we walk Together In the sun I love the curl of his soft, soft Fur Golden and fluffy And so, so warm I love the way he scratches At my Bedroom door When he hears My soft sobbing Down the quiet Corridor He comes in And he listens Without asking any Questions Just curls in my lap No advice No fussing No half-hearted suggestions Just looks up at me With golden brown eyes With a little black smile He doesn't need to say it "Can I stay for awhile?" I love my dog He's going to live forever

I Love My Dog
In the dark In the quiet While the storm is going The dark brown clouds And the river is flowing In the light And the sound Is a grown man crying ‘Cause his mind is a girl And his heart is dying TV static And a pink chandelier Stars in the attic And a bright blue fear In the dark In the silence While the sun is humming The big Black Hole The police are gunning In my mind In space Is a little girl crying ‘Cause her mind is a boy And her heart is dying TV static And a pink chandelier Stars in the attic And a bright blue fear My mind is a Black Hole Spinning through space Destroying all the planets And the bright blue race No one is coming But’s it’s coming in fast My mind is a Black Hole Where your heart will die in Your house is a Black Hole The door’s an Event Horizon

Event Horizon
In the dark All on my own Counting stars Along the bathroom tiles On the floor And I’ll cry Oh, the brightest Of the Lights Will split my head in half In two And no one’s Coming Back.

Star Wall
A bright smile Strewn with freckles On a pale face A blue pool And a white sky Walking on the asphalt Your candy blanket And the wooden drawer Green stars And cardboard boxes The green field And the brambles The scraped up knees And the scandals I look out the window A cage of my own existence How will I fly Swim In an ocean of my own memories? The first time I saw your eyes The last time I said goodbye The next time I’ll kiss you ‘night Before I close my eyes You shake me awake With your raucous cries We dug for the gold And forgot the sky

The Seas
Down the run And past her smoking fuse Behind the door Where the blood cut loose In the dark Where my name’s not used Up the stairs And the ridged knife No one cares I should take my life In the chair Boiling in my strife Down the run And past her smoking fuse Behind the door Where my blood cut loose In the dark Where my name’s not used A liar Lying In the Wait A music Box To confiscate No one knew She was Screaming No one stirred In the silent night The snow fell In the sinkhole light The white glare And the golden sun The white bark And “what’s done is done” Down the run And past her smoking fuse Look at the door My name is news The Flashing Red It’s in Her head The subtle flame It’s in My name

Rachel
We’ve come to the peak of living Only to to be at the rise of Death He meets me at my bedroom door Chained by the cold thought of immorality We think fondly of the days to come But we lack the fate of immortality Foolish, are we To imagine with a mind of such scale A golden day, when we know Youth has come to rest
