To be poor is to go back in time
I have eaten dandelions out of the backyard
And contemplated the guillotine
The revolution of a coin
Skittering to a stop.
There you go, bringing class into it again!

that made you anxious

made you angry
or made you upset?
please forgive me.

Love drove My Heart,
on a Hell of a Ride.
It washed down My Ego
and also some Pride.
Last Night as I read,
Her Scarlet Letters of Love.
As Grey Clouds kept passing,
in the Skies Above.
I searched for one Letter,
which mentioned My Heart.
A Caption that Read
"Till Death does Us Apart"
I ripped that Letter
and tore every single Word.
I screamed Her Name,
but it wasn't even Heard.
Darkness grows Darker,
when shadows fall My Way.
As memories of My last Love,
simply fails to fade Away.

Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Forever
BY: Derek S Ward  ward36345@gmail.com

If dreams could dream forever, then maybe so could I
And I'd dream of you, maybe the whole night through
As the whispering shadows pass by

If time could stand still forever, then maybe so could I
And with no 'tik, or no tock' from the sound of a clock
And not a second would pass us by

If a bird could fly forever, then maybe so could I
And I would fly through the air, and then if I dare
I'd let my wings touch the edge of the sky

If saints could be saints forever, then maybe so could I
And I would if I could, do everything good
Or at least I'd give it a try

If the truth told the truth forever, then maybe so could I
And with nothing to hide, I could stay by your side
with no reason to tell you a lie

If life could live forever, then maybe so could I
And for all, I believe, and could ever conceive
I would never have to say goodbye

Sun
You we're my sunshine
But then I remembered that the sun doesn't just shine for one person.
