"xenophobia" poems
Narrow minds plague our streets Ignorant views and empty arguments Hearts filled with hatred for no reason Are we not a country that fought for equality Has the long walk of freedom not been walked for us Did I misunderstand the meaning of Ubuntu What happened to love, peace and empathy The simplicity of an act of kindness Has fear swept all your morals away? They bleed when they are cut They cry when they are sad We breath the same air Laugh at the same jokes and even dream the same dreams We are the same It's not even about colour How is their black different to yours? brother hating brother They too are Africa Soften your blows Try on their shoes Its hurting them and it will hurt you too

Xenophobia
Lost is the African pride Gone are those who could ride the tide Left are those who drown beneath the wave Prone to dehumanization because of greed I see burning buildings Mutilated bodies Escalating violence And social unrest Lost is the Spirit of Ubuntu Left is a society deprived of its integrity Selfishness and poverty is at the core of our society Is the real Africa lost to antiquity? Crime is rife as people strive for a decent life. A decent life earned through decadence Should we stone foreigners because the government is failing to provide employment? Or should we burn down buildings so that our voices can be heard? I am ashamed of the profanity we breed It’s a calamity for us to be xenophobic It’s a taboo for us to call Africans foreigners in their motherland. It’s not who they are. It’s not who we are It’s not who you are It’s not who I am Together we are the Africa that has survived slave trade The Africa that has survived apartheid The Africa that has survived colonization The Africa that is surviving westernization We don’t fight for employment We create employment We don’t breed resentment We translate sentiments Let us evoke the Spirit of Ubuntu And let’s behave like men not animals Let us ignite the Spirit of Ubuntu And let’s stand like men immortal The Spirit of Ubuntu is what separates us from animals Terrorism shouldn’t exist in Africa It’s a disgrace for us to be unethical Xenophobia shouldn’t be heard in Africa Animosity is not our portion

The day the earth sneezed
Growing ever so fearful Afraid of who lives next door Why do they talk funny? Do not associate with their kind They are the spawn of evil Away with our jobs we deem unfitting Why are they here This is our home But did we not steal it from natives Who are we to judge Why do we judge Why do we preserve our way When there is nothing to preserve Lies! Filth and vermin you say I call friends and family Nothing more Nothing less

Xenophobia
My hometown is a place of rustic beauty and simple people a population under 200 meant that everybody knew everybody farmer Neville and his sheep always on the loose and the quiz night at the pub just another excuse to get drunker and drunker and the private boarding school which I attended so rich with false academia we learned the lessons which would prepare us for the false prophets yet to come and the public school and their ***** uniforms where I found my friends friends who at this point have arrest records ranging from assault to petty larceny and criminally wasted potential oh how I miss that town even now, because despite the racism and xenophobia which infest my kinsmen I still have to believe that things can get better that life there can match the beauty of North Yorkshire farm lands and woodlands and friendly knowing smiles My hometown isn't perfect and I wouldn't have it any other way

My Hometown
i am African, Yes i am black, i live under the same sun as yours, yes we are one.   Why battle with one another, the xenophobia attacks in my country should end, shops are looted, houses burnt down, children fear going to school and hundreds are left homeless.     What happended to South Africa being known as a Rainbow Nation? After 22 years of democracy why do we still fight, defensless statues are destroyed, histroy is wiped away and all that is left is faces without races, let us put our weapons down and rather love than fight.

cries of faces without races
I am a man of no flag no God and no party but this offers me certain freedoms like freedom from offense and freedom to offend I've always found the most "offensive" jokes to be the funniest like a sacred cow butcher and if you are offended easily this might not be the poem for you that being said here we go Did you hear the one about the last pope who actually did any good? yeah me neither What did the pilot say when the Muslim man walked on his plane? "This is flight 216 we may have a potential security risk on the plane." America: Land of the free home of the brave? where a vast majority of the population are wage slave cowards and don't get me started on England a hot nest of xenophobia and racism which almost makes me glad to not live there anymore and it doesn't matter if you are a democrat or a republican because either way you are wrong, and dumb did you hear the one about the anti-gay republican in the gay bar? He took the most drugged up man he could find for some fun in the bathroom stall because the chances are tomorrow he won't remember enough to break the story I live in the sacred cow slaughter house (you can't spell slaughter without laughter) and the only food that really satisfies me anymore is USDA prime choice sacred cow beef

Sacred Cow Slaughterhouse
An artist, Bleeding his heart into the canvas Carefully planning his masterpiece Dutifully paying attention to every detail. Emotionally drained, Forced to finish his work Grueling over an uninviting crowd Helpless to the impending backlash Inspired, the artist continues Just to prove his critics wrong Knowing that his work will be amazing Loving himself even more Meticulously painting his beautiful image Never letting stamina get to him Opening his mind to a grand illusion Presented to him by an transcendent figure Questioning if what he saw was true Reveling in the moment of it all Slowly, the artist comes to a finish Trapping the moment inside of his easel Unveiling to the crowd was his final test Vociferously, he explained his masterpiece When all of a sudden, the artist begins to run Xenophobia had stricken him You now know why most artists are obscure. Zealous fans always ruin everything.

XENOPHOBIA: ORIGINS.
Well before the commencement of the spring The British cuckoo or the Indian koel starts singing With its sweet and natural melody Some fools and children try to make a parody It does not care somebody is listening Or some others enjoying its singing Or some fools and children start mocking It goes on singing and singing in response to the mocking Some fools think the koel suffer from some mania but the fools suffer from xenophobia They don’t like any thing new or sweet And are not ready to give their hearty treat They suffer from their foolish pride and which they can never hide You can’t become great by mocking at a cuckoo It betrays your inner sick view Among the seasons undoubtedly spring is the king The melodious cuckoo or koel invariably does sing

THE KOEL AND THE FOOLS
No. It is not ok with me to say that. Gay is not a synonym for stupid. Gay is not an insult, and I will not allow you to use it like one. It is because of people like you That our society is intolerant, ignorant, and unforgiving. It is because of people like you That our society revolves around the chauvinistic cult That men are not manly if they don’t show preference For a butts and **** attached To a brainless body. It is because of people like you That hundreds of tormented, depressed teens attempt suicide Every year. It is because of people like you That many succeed. It is because of you That one of my best friends is addicted to drugs Struggling with alcoholism And self-loathing Because he can’t admit to himself That he might be gay. So no. It is not ok with me. That you are openly homophobic. Because what if I were gay? With my pretty face and big ***** Would you treat me differently? Would you still joke around and flirt? Because in the end, Homophobia is the same thing as Xenophobia Racism And sexism. And the only thing that separates you And the openly gay boy that you Hate so much is that he has strength to go against the very tide that has swept you and morals away.

It is because of people like you that
Confined to eternal asphyxiation They live a suffocated existence No hope to regain what they took for granted They showed no regard for earth, air, or water This polluted wasteland, their planet They cannot love each other anymore Their punishment is solitude and xenophobia What privileges they had, once upon a time Affection and love, and interpersonal immersion Now doomed, forever, to be alone In this world destroyed by greed, desire, and lust For power, the human beings atone, They do not deserve to be alive, let alone To walk aware of their wrongdoings They should have been erased I would have loved to be the executioner Of billions sinful, lying, cursed, wretched, Vile, incessant, promiscuous, vicious, insidious, Slimy, wily, evil creatures humans are Instead I have become their saviour I feel no pity or sympathy for the Devils They became in exchange of their materialism I see them walk in masses of melancholy, loneliness As I once did for which they showed no regard for me And heartless, I ignore their silent cries for help You are sentenced to life in prison, one like no other Free to live in a society which shows more confinement Than any man-made cell or coffin Elements you took for granted shall be stripped away Your sinful quest for immortality has led you accordingly It is forbidden to breathe the air you polluted, Drink the water you tainted, eat the fruits of the earth you destroyed Your senses will be nullified and your spirits Crushed as this planet was insufficient For your corrupted existence .

Donald Trump's presidency Is one of the greatest achievements in art I have ever experienced And Trump is a true artist He takes words from the page Like corruption, disenfranchisement, xenophobia And brings them to life Highlighting fear and paranoia so clearly Contrasting the blacks and whites Emphasizing anger While reminding us we're mere infants In the digital age And warning us of our seniority And capitalism's We all like to think life has meaning Until we hit an animal with our car Then that's just the way things are And I'm staring at an absurdist painting Of a child driving a car Through a herd of sheep As I watch a heist film Where the robbers turn their guns over To the mentally unstable guy in the group Trump is a national artist Placing riots on the map And drawing infernos on the Internet His art forces an opinion Everybody has something to say about him And it's all true Even the pages he ripped from his own cabinet Tried to villainize him in their script But he was already an anti-hero The humor is that the mud slung onto him Is dirt kicked up from his own tires I guess if you surround yourself with hateful people You're surrounding yourself with people who probably hate you Trump's art is deeply conflicting He reminds me of the people who want me to live in shame Yet he embodies the individuality that separates me from that shame His insecurities remind me of myself High school is the White House in the eyes of a kid And I had secrets I wanted to share But felt I couldn't I learned things That changed my entire perspective And didn't think people would understand Afraid of being assaulted for my indiscretions I hid behind a boisterous personality And a nonchalant attitude Trump's art evokes sympathy and hatred that feels so strong When he holds a mirror defining our worst qualities To a man viscerally opposed to his own reflection The confliction of emotions Is the hallmark of great art We are all artists The lines we write or the strokes we brush Are in our actions And Trump's canvas displays A life filled with accomplishment Inspiring me to live my own life But I still wake up in cold sweats From the American dream That anybody can be president

How dare you reduce me to one race how dare you judge me based on my birth place? I may not be wealthy, but I am rich, oh have I learnt that life can be a ***** born to a Muslim father, raised by an Orthodox mother, but why I do I bother, all you can do is smother me with your negativity, you won't understand, that those two go well hand in hand, I live in Slovenia, it all makes me Slavic as hell, If you are willing to listen to the story I'm about to tell, It all used to be one big entity until they destroyed it, blurred my sense of identity... So as a kid I was ashamed 'cause I didn't belong, I couldn't be tamed, my pride was too strong, I was confused, I didn't get it, that three cultures in me were fused, they made me hate it, regret it, now that I'm older I can finally see, all that **** was irrelevant, cos I am me.

Xenophobia
Another beautiful, colorful day ended favorably, Gave happiness in jests, kindness, laments. Morning's new orientation provided quick reassurance, Supporting the universal view, While xenophobia yielded zilch.

ABC...
It's dark and the light leaks out like the change in my pockets; like the blood from her nose; like knowledge from my head. And I can feel myself being   swallowed by this systematic long dark. I cannot remove myself,   a gut-worm in the lower-mantle belly. Watching video-cassettes of   my birthday. I don't know what happened to my birthday video.   I don't know what happened to my parents or what I did to happen   to them. The light leaks, again, and I choke on my celebri-thoughts; mentally-masturbating to the waves I'd give on a book tour or studio lot. Talking about some movie that made some money, somewhere in Santa Fe or L.A. The news is channeling my president: a swollen man that is the physical representation that a lot of American people are parasitic; lovers in racism, xenophobia, transphobia, Islamophobia, homophobia; scared of everything except the 'straight-talking' magnate they put in office. Not playing president; playing God. I'd hate to get political, though. I'd hate to ramble on and on about something I don't know enough about to **** myself over. I can feel myself picking up steam. I can feel myself getting redundant but embracing the bruised ego and poor technique. Loving the entrails spilling out of the splits of my fingertips; more beautiful than the brains I bashed on the sidewalks of old Morgantown. Morgantown, a town so kind you are gently destroyed by its over-crowded masses, dying to be different or drunk -- I suppose that's not very different than most places. But let's get back to these trees that I haven't even talked about. Let's get back to the kitchen table with the hollowed hard-drive, with wires and cords flopping to the sides, like a gutted spaghetti eater with poor stomach acid. How terrible. I'll never forgive myself for that last line. I feel so rudderless. So cynical with a touch of cliche. I keep pushing back that age for success, thinking that I have the luxury of choosing. My vocabulary is limited. My intelligence is assumed; probably a void, where delusions manifest and asian **** rewinds and plays,   rewinds and plays.

to a tee-totally-totater
at this very moment in time, I am terrified for the future of the human race I wake up each day and hear things no man should hear and yet each day I wake up and I am assaulted with a world speeding towards the brink of oblivion I have no comment on what is right or wrong, to each man his own has always been the nature of this universe. but on the things we now hold dear: the ignorance the xenophobia the arrogance the paranoia the fear I cannot reconcile them so much hate, has become the norm hate for others, hate for difference, hate for abnormality, hate for normality no one knows the true meaning of love anymore each person walks into the day holding a brandished steel in one hand and a hardened shield in the other nobody knows how to be vulnerable or how to leave the vulnerable be we all act like warriors battling in some unforgiving war yet we are not, we are simple people trying to live simple lives. on this day, nine years ago, a tragedy was struck that the world will never forget on this day, forty-seven years ago, a miracle occurred that only a few have ever noticed on this day, one of these past events blocks out the other hate has eclipsed love and in this moment of time: I am fearful, for the future of humanity

a fearful time to live in
Some fear spiders, It is called arachnafobia. Some fear hospitals, It is called nosocomephobia. But how... How- Is it called? Xenophobia, Fear of strangers. Coulrophobia, Fear of clowns. But how... How? How do we call this? The fear of myself.

Fears
Avenging activity among our society Based behind our bravery, Centered in our controlled community Dances our dimes distantly, Eating the Economy entirely, Freeing some family’s from financial stability Giving the Government full guidance to “Give willingly” Help save history and fix the hired hereby diligently Isolating the problem Indefinitely before another civil war breaks out immobilizing us internally, Jacking up jumping prices to live within our jungle of commonality Killing Kids futures by leaving them in debt for keeps of knowledge to secure their vivacity Living our Lives in stress leniently because we are your servants dwelling down here in the low depths of poverty. Massing out our Money on your table tops feasting morbidly on fattening foods while millions suffer from malnutrion Nobody speaking nervously now On the open opinion’s on our governments greed People pacing the streets for a piece to eat Quiet our questions or riots will quake the streets Rage ripping through our roads radiantly So sustain us all seriously separating the needy from situations of squandering Take hold of our Tantrums and turn them on the ones demanding this tangibility You’re yearning for yesterday’s better life Venom of today’s values vast out over our minds When will they welcome the revolution? Xenophobia exerts exteremremitys on our souls Zero Tolerance for Zaberism and Zolism is the way we go.
