it's 3:23 in the morning and I'm awake because my great great grandchildren won't let me sleep my great great grandchildren ask me in dreams what did you do while the planet was plundered? what did you do when the earth was unraveling? surely you did something when the seasons started failing? as the mammals, reptiles, birds were all dying? did you fill the streets with protest when democracy was stolen? what did you do once you knew? I'm riding home on the Colma train I've got the voice of the milky way in my dreams I have teams of scientists feeding me data daily and pleading I immediately turn it into poetry I want just this consciousness reached by people in range of secret frequencies contained in my speech I am the desirous earth equidistant to the underworld and the flesh of the stars I am everything already lost the moment the universe turns transparent and all the light shoots through the cosmos I use words to instigate silence I'm a hieroglyphic stairway in a buried Mayan city suddenly exposed by a hurricane a satellite circling earth finding dinosaur bones in the Gobi desert I am telescopes that see back in time I am the precession of the equinoxes, the magnetism of the spiraling sea I'm riding home on the Colma train with the voice of the milky way in my dreams I am myths where violets blossom from blood like dying and rising gods I'm the boundary of time soul encountering soul and tongues of fire it's 3:23 in the morning and I can't sleep because my great great grandchildren ask me in dreams what did you do while the earth was unraveling? I want just this consciousness reached by people in range of secret frequencies contained in my speech ©2003

I like immigrants, immigration. Legal immigration, Jane passionately corrects. Actually my goal is a borderless world. Gathering the neighborhood like family. The men discuss sterilizing welfare mothers. I say You're working       around the edges, humanity has exceeded the carrying capacity of the planet, even those with jobs. And spouses. And houses. Yet it's an idyll of an early summer evening, new cut grass, two baseball teams of children playing in it. Safe from Pakistan. News photos of Muslim refugees, women in blue robes, biblically carrying children away from holocaust. The fundamentalist army not far behind, beheading sinners, sure in its righteousness as the Holy Roman Empire. Somehow Joel Osteen the evangelist comes up while talking about how the Catholic Church is irrelevant in North       America, even Latin America and Africa are going evangelical. Izzi likes Osteen, awesome extemporaneous speaker, no teleprompter, up from bootstraps message. My wife says he's probably Jewish. Fortunately no one claims the Holocaust never happened or slavery       was voluntary. What is the carrying capacity of the planet? In China is it each couple or each adult that gets one offspring? As life expectancy and standards rise, family size diminishes. We draw together into greener, tighter cities. The children of three monotheistic religions, atheists and agnostics play in city streets, work farm fields, explore forests, deserts,       grasslands, space. Two ancient female poets: Enheduanna and Sappho are a revelation. The clarity of their complaints: lost lover, lost city.

Teamwork is essential to complete the task at hand, we work closely together to meet the demand Each person has thier own important part, to deliver our service, straight from the heart. The empathy we express, the willingness we share, can turn around a customer from pulling out thier hair. We have a few teams both offline and on, we do this so we don't miss anything wrong. We support each other every single day, ensuring everything is covered, nothing left astray. We work with pride and respect one another, we are indeed genuine, it is not a cover. A team requires co-operation and communication between all, and when everyone participates, there is no way to fall. I am proud of our team, and those that lead, always willing and ready to help those in need.

Teamwork!
Amid the verbose magicians Seeking kinships And sailing deep into their arduous mists Watching them peddle their afternoon To a handful of smiling children holding their breath Amazed in gentle body trick The older men of age Leaning deep into their creased chins Stroking the grizzled fat Blinding light of soul Staring down the barrel of life Striking the enemy one last time And yet smiling sober, Met of match, taking care of their kids. Then there's the cold-clocked dudes On the phone pushing buttons In a button-up raglan Lost indistinct the promised land The golden shores swept away by inconvenient time Left shopping in an auto mall "Won't you look at the time?" 7.07 APR Boy what a steal! And Steve maddened and screamed As the lines blurred instinctual between opposing teams And the oven dinged a great alabaster slant Leaning towards the new millenitants Rise up! ***** the wheel Turn the axel from pistons To alkaline metal And doubt with great monumental Quality That the machine borders all And we cannot retreat And while I sift bouyantly between the waves Searching the puzzle piece within the molecules Reconnecting with the things And representing dreams on a 66 hertz screen I call rather failing Towards a black rocked shore Towards the sweet Dorigen Of my dreams Finding an integral of time And space And calculating the intangible slope Of my desmise With the imaginary constiutent Of that lighted mind.

The emus formed a football team Up Walgett way; Their dark-brown sweaters were a dream But kangaroos would sit and scream To watch them play. "Now, butterfingers," they would call, And such-like names; The emus couldn't hold the ball - They had no hands - but hands aren't all In football games. A match against the kangaroos They played one day. The kangaroos were forced to choose Some wallabies and wallaroos That played in grey. The rules that in the West prevail Would shock the town; For when a kangaroo set sail An emu jumped upon his tail And fetched him down. A whistler duck as referee Was not admired. He whistled so incessantly The teams rebelled, and up a tree He soon retired. The old marsupial captain said, "It's do or die!" So down the ground like fire he fled And leaped above an emu's head And scored a try. Then shouting, "Keep it on the toes!" The emus came. Fierce as the flooded Bogan flows They laid their foemen out in rows And saved the game. On native pear and Darling pea They dined that night: But one man was an absentee: The whistler duck - their referee - Had taken flight.

Julie had never been one to partake in Girly things, dollies and frills Julie was one of those tomboy like girls Who looked out for adventurous thrills She loved riding bikes, down the hill at high speed Screaming loud with her hands in the air But Julie could not play in organized sports Her mum said the cash wasn't there She sat on the  sidelines and watched all the games To not play the game was a sin But Julie Macado would spend her whole life On the outside of things looking in. She knew all the players on all of the teams She wanted so badly to play But Julie Macado would learn pretty fast She was one of the have-nots that day In gym she was better than all of the guys She sank every shot that she tried But organized sports was just out of her league She was still sitting on the outside Her friends that she played with said "Go see the coach", maybe he'll let you join up When she told her poor mother that that's what's she'd do Her mother told her to shut up "I've done my best girl, to give you a life" "And charity...I'll never take" "If you're gonna play then you'll pay your own way "For you learn more when somethings at stake" So Julie went out, hustled, working part time Doing all that she could to make bucks But, when she had enough money to finally join in The season was done...and that ***** Even though she had shown she could be on the team She was finished and did not begin Poor Julie Macodo was still not on the team She was still outside looking in She worked all that summer making money galore She'd be ready to sign up that fall She had enough money to pay for herself She was going to play basketball Her mum lost her job in early July The plant that she worked at had closed Now she too was outside looking in at the others They would move...that was what she supposed Again Julie Macado would miss out again All of her money she gave to her mom She would be an outsider for all of her life Never playing a game...'cept for fun Even though she was better than all in her school She would never be in looking out Until that one day, when a man from Kentucky Had come up to Freeling to scout He'd heard of this girl, who could shoot from the floor She had skills that he had seldom seen He signed her on up to a four year free ride It was all like a really good dream He told her of how, he had gotten a letter About a young girl ..that was her It was written in crayon and a little bid blurry And it stated out with a Dear Ser, the spelling was bad, but he read it completely It told of how Julie could play But she had not school record, no history so He set out to see the girl play He contacted the school and he asked them for game films They said she played only in gym So he set out directly to see for himself The decision would be up to him Now, Julie Macado has realized her dream Her life is all set to begin She did it herself, with a note from her Mother She was no longer out looking in.

Our world has many distractions, Many of which I've known. But here am I in the midst of it all, writing a poem to whom I don't know. Most of all I love you, More than you could know. And someone out there, near or far, To you my love does flow. I cannot help but think of holding hands, Crazy dancing and smiling glances, Movie nights and games with friends, Writing notes of silly romances. I'll sing you songs, Some sincere, others silly but true, Cause I'm just that kind of person, You'd best be crazy with me too! I'll try and love your sports, and support your teams with cheering, I'll bring you snacks, and cuddle up, Though on the inside I may be leering!! I'll make you cookies and huge cakes, whipped beautifully with cream, Even with this I'll be so happy, I may believe myself to dream. Oh darling, the future feels so far, Maybe I should embrace today, but what good is that to me, When half this heart is out at bay? They think me strange, and very different, Just waiting for my prince, Forever thinking to my tomorrow, Based on parent's experience. I'm sorry mother, father, It does hardly seem fair, But for you I will continue on this journey, A life lived with special care. And they are out there, living today's life, And while they're grounded there I twirl, Waiting for you to find in me: A precious, beautiful pearl

To My Future Husband
I play softball, She comes to my game, She starts playing softball. I'm a catcher, She's a catcher. I'm first base, She's first base. I'm pitcher, She's a pitcher. I'm agrivated, She's amused. I'm taking lessons, She's taking lessons. I'm not a catcher, She's a catcher. I'm a pitcher, She's not a pitcher. Copy Cat. I join a team, She joins two teams. I practice hard in my backyard, She claims she does also. I admit I take lessons, She refuses to admit the fact that She takes lessons because She's untrusting.

A shout out to LeBron For a big night in Akron A welcome win for the Cavaliers Tonight against the TimberWolves. Cavs finally ended the drought Via the energy they brought. Coach Tyronn Lue drew up a game plan That finally brought a win to the land. Both teams put up a spectacular show Leaving the erratic Cavs fans like wow! The combined 3s of forty was historic, Shot by both teams was really fantastic! Tonight LeBron played like a real GOAT! Playing great basketball from all over the court! The big block on Butler is not what this is about, But the clutched game winner fadeaway he shot! IBPoetry 2/8/2018

LeBron's Iconic Fade away
I would've given birth To you, Endured whatever Mothers do. Instead, I did What Dads do. I rocked you Til my future shook; Watched you til I couldn't look. As you changed, I changed too, To do the things That Dads do. You were bathed, Dressed and fed; I loved you so much I was saved. If there's credit, Well, I get it, For teaching you to read. I took the blame When you got bored With school's ABC's. I followed you In all your roles, Your teams, Your solos, Your trips, Your shows. First to clap, Last to sit; I taped it all, From start - To finish. I taught you How to tie a lace, Ride a bike, Golf and skate. When time arrived For you to drive, You learned On standard, Never stranded, You came home alive. Your highs I took in stride, By example taught Humility's pride. Your lows, I couldn't internalize, I dropped my guard With my eyes. When Dad's do well It's a double edge, The future wedge. The world Revealed Desired you too. I don't dismiss What mothers do, But when Dads do well, Both lose you.

When Dads Do Well
A dropped ball on the goal line A tackle missed down field It's amazing how a football game Can make a man's mind yield We come to tears when our teams lose Even worse when our team wins It's when we show all our emotions It's when we break the MANLY SINS But our girlfriend gets real angry When we don't utter a word When they want to talk of feelings It's a word we've never heard We're MEN and **** proud of it We show support for MANLY things Like football games and racing cars Not relationshippy things We wear our hearts upon our sleeve When the two minute gun has sounded When the game has come to overtime When the last corner has rounded We sit upon our seats edge Nothing can break us from this trance Not even when our **** girl Comes and does a naked dance But our girlfriend gets real angry When we don't utter a word When they want to talk of feelings It's a word we've never heard We're MEN and **** proud of it We show support for MANLY things Like football games and racing cars Not relationshippy things We cry when our dog passes We get upset when things go wrong But we'll never show emotion To a ****** Adele song We aren't built to be emotive At least not when women want us to I'll tell you more about emotion When the football season's through

Men and emotions
We are a team, That have a dream… We don’t stop, no not even when we drop. other teams are lame , cause we got game. Sprint, pass, shoot, dribble, assist, defense Thats our life as we thrive. This is our house And the game is our spouse. We grieve every loss, cause we hate losing more than we love winning. But the next game We go up down, down up back at it with the roundup We get hungry to get revenge, on the team that Can’t avenge but we don’t rest til we’re the best. We’ll be on top one day and they’ll pop. We steal like thief’s in the night, We wont lose without a fight, We have the pace, and we keep up with the race. There are setbacks, slumps, bumps, But that only makes us stronger And it makes us last longer. We fall as one , rise as one, That’s what makes us family

It's that time of the Patriot's year Postseason playoff games are in full gear The road to the Superbowl, I cheer But not for the big, bad grissly bear That takes every opponent's fate without fear That's right the big bad bear without peer I'm snickering the Patriot's to cry a tear Nothing would make me so happier, I swear Fricken, dicken, bitchen Patriots beware To see another Bostonian tea party, I glare I do show respect at the Patriot's lair Brady and Belicheck what a podded pair Steady, stoic and simulcast, condescending I declare You see a Patriots playoff loss is so rare Their team profile is beyond compare A well oiled machine that wear Goliath close over David with regular fare The road to this year's Superbowl Sunday, I say a prayer That the other teams flag is flying patriotically in the air Logan Robertson 1/11/2019

No To The Patriots Road To The Superbowl
The sunrise greets the morning dew, to paint the sky with a vibrant hue. The last night has passed and a new days has come, advertised perfectly by a morning’s sun. Alarm clock birds hold no button to “snooze,” nothing left from yesterday, so now nothing left to lose. Go hesitantly wipe the sleep from your eyes, and politely greet the oncoming sunrise. The blissful sunset that once held the night, sped off within our starry eyes so fast. The brilliant, blinding, shining light, tragically drifted off, lost in the past. It separates the long days from the glorious dreams, and divides them into hostile, opposing teams. A sunrise and it’s rays can always carry hope, that maybe one day it’s possible to move on. Either surprise fairy tale, or tasteless joke, maybe my sense of humour is just somewhat wrong. So remember to always bless a sunrise, but never, ever more than a sunset. Both light up the passing, fading skies, that cover our shaking regret. At night, we all strive only to peacefully sleep, to **** the hours before the sun makes horizon’s leap.

Cricket is the only game which lures me so much; And then engrosses me so much. That craze would never drive out of me… My inspiration was ‘Yuvraj Singh’, Only then I arose to identify that King. Once Yuvi’s record of six sixes in six ***** The firmament was incredible for certain minutes: That was the first time I witnessed cricket, And India’s triumph provided me a mind-blowing buzz to watch cricket, Nevertheless continuing with ***** and wickets. I would turn crazy when Indian cricketers approach the ground, And that would certainly not halt lest they are made proud. This T20 shadowed by IPL, Made me to by stand that awe-inspiring sport. Chennai Super Kings-my favorite, Followed by Royal Challenges Bangalore … And lots more hilarious teams and cricketers. When Chris Gayle approaches… Tsunami warning must be lifted and “Gayle” (gale) warning must be given! That’s how cricket relocates… Most matches concluding in the closing over And some others in the finishing ball… The most exhilarating sport Read more →and the format- IPL is all fun for me… With cheer leaders and the draped studio; With cameras and videos And at last the much awaited IPL trophy- Cricket is all that it needs!!!

2019 Women's World Soccer
"Oh, hey Emily, will you be on our team?" It was the very bad ending to a very bad day. Three tests, forgotten homework, stuttered lines, And this is what got me in the end. Those girls, The ones with the Perfect long blonde beautiful hair And the pencil skirts And uggs, The girls who even manage to make gym clothes look good. We had lined up for Captain ball Which is really just A mix of Soccer and basketball. And we had to line up, Every inch of back touching the wall, And the first seven people from each side would play, and then the next seven. But of course Those girls The ones who can't bear to be Seperated For two minutes and forty-seven seconds Had to have the perfect team. No. Just no. I won't "be on your team." There are no teams.

Those Girls
A string of words that flow like the rivers, Showing enough thought to provide the shivers. Reflections of the poet within, The type thrown out in the garbage bin Or the type framed and hung on the wall. There's a poet within us all. Not all are eager to show their inner poet, But would rather let it set sail As rivers stream from their eyes Due to the symbolic lie They believe, making them pale As, with their sorrow, they wallow it. Patronizing executives and farmers Believe their exterior would be shattered If their inner poet let slip. Once somebody gives them lip, They harden as if it mattered And equip their shields and armors. The Spartan with the inner-Athenian Would be killed by his friends If they knew who he was on the inside. This fills him with fear. He keeps his ears open to hear If anyone is coming as he hides So his poetry will have its end Before this war with the Peloponnesians. Such beauty gone to waste All because this facade of masculinity Everyone puts on to protect themselves From the beasts in this society That would love to shatter those dreams. Artists should gather in teams, Ready to fight this anarchy That would place our poetry on the shelves, Collecting dust with haste. Collecting dust with haste.

The Spartan with the Inner-Athenian
I've seen you in striped white, I've seen you in black wrap-around tops, I've seen you in stilettos, I've seen you in Fitflops. I've seen you in the bluest of days, I've seen you in the rainiest of nights, I've seen you in the face of the sun, I've seen you in the wind-full of kites. I've seen you in the trajectory of life, I've seen you stare at me with care, I've seen you in the droplets of water, I've seen you in every castle in the air. I've seen you dreaming, I've seen you back in reality, I've seen you physically Earthy, I've seen you  emotionally Mars-y, I've seen you sad and jubilant, I've seen you troubled, but kept a smile, I've seen you doubled - in poker, I've seen you gone crazily wild. I've seen you in green-blinking nails, I've seen you return my stutters, I've seen you stand tall - confident, I've seen you slouch - don't matter. I've seen you looking into empty spaces, I've seen you looking into a tasty plate, I've seen you doubt yourself, I've seen you believing in fate. I've seen you in the bakery, I've seen you in a factory, I've seen you in your beauty, I've seen you in your most ball-sy. I've seen you in the bus, I've seen you read, I've seen you pick up a microphone, I've seen you speaking with speed. I've seen you with a newspaper, I've seen you with an iPad, I've seen you with a t-shirt, I've seen you stylishly clad. I've seen you work hard, I've seen you studied irresponsibly, I've seen you proud, I've seen you flicker embarrassingly. I've seen you here, I've seen you there, I've seen you near, I've seen you everywhere. I've seen enough, I've seen you in extremes, I've seen you thorough, I've seen you in teams. I've seen you verily, I've seen you truly, I've seen so much inspiration, I've seen you guilty. I've seen "I've seen" 58 times, I've seen you more than that few. But I would've seen nothing more, If I've seen none of you.

Beside his heavy-shouldered team thirsty with drought and chilled with rain, he weathered all the striding years till they ran widdershins in his brain: Till the long solitary tracks etched deeper with each lurching load were populous before his eyes, and fiends and angels used his road. All the long straining journey grew a mad apocalyptic dream, and he old Moses, and the slaves his suffering and stubborn team. Then in his evening camp beneath the half-light pillars of the trees he filled the steepled cone of night with shouted prayers and prophecies. While past the campfire's crimson ring the star struck darkness cupped him round. and centuries of cattle-bells rang with their sweet uneasy sound. Grass is across the wagon-tracks, and plough strikes bone beneath the grass, and vineyards cover all the slopes where the dead teams were used to pass. O vine, grow close upon that bone and hold it with your rooted hand. The prophet Moses feeds the grape, and fruitful is the Promised Land.

Hormones raging...for what I'm told not to engage in, even if we're engaged, if it's not official than its still revealed as...fornication. There's a disturbing underestimation of the result given for this particular sinful demonstration, society has taught us that we test the car before we drive it, but the 1st issue with this analogy told is that we're comparing human sin to...driving a vehicle? But if we're going to establish analogies on this subject , then, well, why don’t we also consider these: do we begin eating Thanksgiving dinner before were done saying grace? Do they hand out diplomas and degrees for classes you haven't passed yet? Do they give Super Bowl trophies to teams expected to win? So how do we justify receiving the prize of an unmet process? Far too many have allowed marriage to become an afterthought or not even a passing idea our better judgment caught because man had rather receive a temporary pleasure that sin conceives birthed in disobedience, deceptive grip around your conscience until your choked by the demands of a lustful flesh that wants to be fed in continual expedience. Or...Maybe, I’m just being a hater, fighting not to be twistedly envious and curious of a world that I’m forbidden to embrace.  Or Maybe I’m fighting...the temptation and frustration of being a single man patiently searching for that good thing and the favor my Father blesses along with her. Maybe I’m fighting...not to nosedive into the bottomless trap laid for human souls, lured in by lack, of self-control. It troubles me in just how simple... he brags and boasts then plots and plans his next victim in the desecration of his and her Creator’s Temple. But It’s not all his fault, because it was up to her to give him the key to this priceless location better known as her body.
