"supersonic" poems
Supersonic Skydive Tell me, what's your helmet like? Can you hear the roar of breaking barriers of sound? Or is it silent in your dome Have they built you like a home A cradle for the jumping few Who chose to do as daring do? Supersonic Skydive, Tell me, what's the view there like? Can you see the rounding planet Arching back in every stretch? And do the stars look different here Beyond the blinking atmosphere, And when you rushing, sink away, When do you find the blue of day? Supersonic Skydive So lucky to be so alive And as you plummet to the ground, Tell me, do you look up, or down?

Supersonic Skydive
Scrapers will no longer scrape. Fighters soon to lose the short fight. Pilots are forced to surrender control. Snakes on a plane will bank into a roll, a scene that really no longer is scenic. Leaders still read while getting a scare. Huge landmarks that I swear were once there, bridges in shortage are counting the tolls. Dust that eventually will never be settled, liquid support that used to be metal, big bad crude that never was good— things impossible suddenly could. Answers quickly try to be drummed. Future conflicts guaranteed to be won, particles blocking our UV death sun, days become decades and turkey is done. Brave individuals are no longer bold. Families’ histories are quite often told, a baby’s bottle empty with no one to hold. Government figures tilted but somehow sold parades in protest with a circus in town. A tiger got out, but why can’t he growl? Seems that the cat’s got somebody’s tongue. Another channel covers son after son, numbers mounting, but not the right ones. Cabbies still nose their thumb after thumb, training centers destroyed one after one. We should’ve just played “Drop the **** bomb!” Fear is good, and of course good is feared; it’s the only thing that drives us way over here. Just like the Bible, it’s mostly made up. The supersonic jet has just hit a rut. The dirtiest of bombs versus our Smith and Wesson. “Come on gang, why would you even question?” Like death and taxes—there’s none that’s more sure, but then there’s the free upcoming history lesson. “Ain’t gonna do it” acting just like his pop. This rancher really means it when tossing the slop. “Still can’t find him—he’s with boys in Brazil.” What’ve they done lately to lighten the till? It’s time for the Allies to storm up this hill.

"Epic of Soulmate"
You lured me in Sick with your charm Before I knew it I was wrapped in your arms But something came clear to me Your personality Traits; your critique And it all came up from your ability to show no remorse for the ones that love you most what's the issue, what's with your force? Boy I hate to tell you, you're psychotic So bad with moral and logic You're like a drug - supersonic Now I'm resisting it

Song for You
I'm no man of steel, But my love is strong, my heart real. Into the air...no, I'm unable to fly, But  would take a bullet... For you i'd die. I can not see through walls or any such thing at all, But I'd surely catch you if you should fall. I can not leap a tall building in a single bound, But believe me, no harm shall be fall you when I'm around. I'm not strong enough to bend steel with my bare hands, But I am strong enough to be your man. While I do not possess laser beams that shoot from my  eyes, I do have two lips to kiss you tenderly I'll tell you no lies. I can not out run a speeding train, break the sound barrier like a supersonic plane. But I will be ever quick to ease all of your pain. I do not have super ears with which the faintest sounds to hear, but have no fear for I am always near. I can not withstand the fieriness of the suns heat or bone freezing cold. But I will love and honor you even as we both grow old. I am not the bravest man nor have I ever been bold. But I mean these words with all of my heart...all of my soul. And know this, come what may... I shall never falter, I shall never fade. No matter how heavy the weight, I will not fold. I will always be here for you to have and to hold. No...I'm no man of steel, but I'm real. I...am...real. I want, I need, cut me, I bleed. I laugh, I cry, I live and I shall die. With each passing day I shall love you more. Together forever our hearts will soar. From beginning to end, you shall always be my best friend. Though I may not have telescopic site. I'll keep you in my minds eye, For you are my weakness...my kryptonite. What I feel is real but...I'm no man of steel. No I'm no man of steel.

How you mesmerize How you mimic the seasonal calm And quietude of the restless ocean How you bow in concentration To arch your absorbent nature And rapture in a cosmetic smile that Swallows like a whirl pool How you carry the gravitation field And the forces that pull and bind How you repel sadness and sorrow In all faces and brighten some gloomy soul How you set the stage for colorful dreams And some “sweetistic” imaginations How you define beauty in high definition A creature of absolutely amazing design Turning a ghostly atmosphere of earth Into a haze of bliss and paradise scenic Wafting some breeze of glory Refreshing souls lost the inferno beneath How you dim audacious eye gaze By the razor of your eyes that pierce How you outshine daylight and light Outsmarting the very phrase neat and tidy You’re the best and not the rest without debut It’s why they find no rest and burst for you How you dazzle and outwit Injecting madness in minds active Accelerating the speed of hormones Beyond light or supersonic speed Desire giving way to passion sway And the vocal chords automated confess it How you **** and make alive When you put it short and tight And the fabric can’t bear it a moment Reproducing a perfect figurine clone of yours As though you would burst out from it Electrify and sizzle hearts inflamed That’s how you mesmerize me Walk no more in my sight her highness How you catch my eye miss sacred And reign enthroned in my frontal lobe How you consume my thinkative energy And gear on the driving seat of my life

I Long
On a bright and sunny day On the 18th of May An earthquake resulted in a landslide That unleashed a massive force brewing inside The eruption removed the upper 1,300 feet The magma chamber burst- rock & gas blown at supersonic speed Within 8 miles, all was instantly wrecked With a shockwave so big, what could one expect? As the north slope collapsed down All life forms began to drown Every tree in sight swept away 19 miles outward; a ruinous ashtray Silence breaks as ash falls like snow The once mature landscape now just an embryo What had become a lifeless terrain, Now shows us what 35 years can attain. After the volcanic cataclysm Biological legacies determine the pace of new ecosystems The following colonizers proceed: Lupines, pearly everlasting, alder shrubs, and fireweed. The coniferous forest was replaced The deciduous Alder trees won the race The new forest attracts grasshoppers, birds, and ants Larks, gophers, sparrows and deer mice take a chance Out of 256 species alive prior to the eruption, 86 are now in production 20% of the surface is covered with grass and legumes Struggling young trees that endeavor to bloom Ecological gaps begin to fill Strong ecosystems form, production is uphill. Elk arrives to munch on grass and bark The thick forests attract birds, like larks. Fallen logs create nutrients and feed biofilm to the lake Floating ecosystems now have plenty resources to take Elevation affects the rate of recovery reports. The higher the colder, which means the growing season is short. The loss of trees means more room for sun As the lake warms up, there’s increased production More insects and bigger fish, like rainbow trout Salamanders are scarce now, not many about. Lupines deserve their own stanza, those purple legumes. They help make a pumice landscape suitable for others to bloom. Lupines create essential nutrients the pumice is low on Other plants are thankful for the rare space to grow on. All this information hopefully to inspire, Life pulls through in situations most dire. Mount Saint Helens’ destructive wake is seen clearly today, The eruption that obliterated had also paved a way.

So you're in your early twenties. Two decades and some change down. Life isn't going as you expected. You don't live in a studio apartment above the skyline in Manhattan and your Friends names aren't Ross, Phoebe or Joey. You blame the economy for your lack of currency and inability to move. You remain comfortable, because that is what feels okay. Now, let's stop making excuses. Realize that your in your early twenties: It's the perfect supersonic boom of an age. You are young enough where you still have your morals from adolescence and have yet to be tainted or jaded by the real world. Don't worry so much about what your diploma says. Use what you already know: your ethics, ideology, art form of life to create something useful within this world. Be you, not because Drake says you only live once, but because it is common sense. Don't sit around and wait, hope or pray for something to happen. It is finally your time to make it happen. Go out and fail. For failure is the first step to success, because you're one step ahead of everyone else by trying, by risking, by attempting to go out of the comfort box. So on this very day: Let's make it happen today. God, Buddha, Yahweh, Your Krypton Alien Dance or Whatever You May Believe In--Bless bros & broettes. Peace.

Surrealistic lover meet me at the danger zone In space ships where we simulate As you shape shift, I stay fascinated A reptilian, an arcturian, pleiadian The vega, a lyra, light years away Supersonic lover kiss me at the signal house In cellular automaton advance my grid of DNA As we diffuse in megastructures, callibrate my power A sirian, grays, draconian, anunnaki The human, indigo, crystal, the rainbow Take me to the fantasy, at the star line of illusion Where my body glows and your DNA burrows Take me and show me the laser in the magic cosmic Open my heart, inject your poison, kiss my toes as you do Disconnect my body and spirit to another dimension Distort the optic nerve so that the reality seems normal Transverse the solar bodies and celestial systems Fight the hypotonic regression to recall the delusions Climb the mountain as the peaceful dwellers wear googles Awaiting for a UFO float and disappear from the bare land

Traced Alien ft a DNA Trance
A cultural revolution is hiding behind the face of Tokyo’s finest geisha. And she looks pretty. "My underground, supersonic bullet train is faster than yours," she said with perfect symmetry in her smile.   *"Oh?", I said with american gusto, hoping for a new lead on my future.* "It takes me to the rising sun, where new parties breed," she said again. Her beauty and symmetry was even better than before. Then, she told me something that I didn't know. “Shark fin soup, kama sutras, and virtual *** go well together." .

' Expansion of Cosmic Love '
I've been given a challenge A duel of sorts you'll see Not over the love of a women But over the love of poetry Both starting off standing back to back Walking twenty paces like gentlemen I slowly turn, only to learn The true power of Carl's pen As I lay on the ground, poetic heart bleeding It all flashes before my eyes That is when it is I see I've lead a typically boring life From childhood to adulthood Flashing by at supersonic speed No need to slow down the reel Not much to see that interesting But then it all starts to sputter Slowing to a normal pace Stopping at the best day of my life Which just happens to be yesterday I woke up just like every other morning Hosed off out front like I always do Of course all my neighbors were out there watching They can't seem to get enough of me in the **** I got the paper from off of the driveway (Still in the **** mind you) I was already out in the sun with my moon a shinning What else was I supposed to do On the front page I saw the winning numbers My treasure staring back at me Whooping and hollering through the neighborhood I'd just won the lottery! Maybe I should throw on some jeans... I went straight to Tallahassee To pick up my multi million dollar check Spend it like there's no tomorrow Till there is none of it left I bought boats and planes and automobiles Had a babe on all four arms (I even bought extra arms) Then flash forward to today Where it is I bought the farm So alas my life's movie stops To where it is I am now Having taken up this challenge Laying on the cold damp ground Yes, I finally had the chance To put my typically boring life behind Snuffed out by the Master's pen Left with no rhyme and dying Thanks Carl...

The trailblazers hellraisers want to learn to fly, but first must learn to try and not begrudge the birds their wings or beaks or things. It's each to his own and birds have flown for centuries while man looked on quite jealously, until Wilbur and Orville an unlikely looking pair, built a weird looking craft that flew into the air and there the story lies. Man no longer separated from the skies but flying catatonic, supersonic, chronically intoxicated by machines that he's created. It will all come to pass that when we run out of kerosene and natural gas, we'll recognise that flying free is but a dream and then we'll see that wings are meant for birds and no amount of whirlygigs, tornadoes, migs can change the fact that we were made to walk.

It's dying you know. In a scary dark dirge. It's falling fast. Was feeling mediocre. Ages fly past. From childhood to menopause. Hell what a blast. Some kind of supersonic speed. Looking into the dark world of periods past. Just took a breath. Oops there went another. One second closer. Patella aches. Legs are veined. Decorated ornately. Threads sewn. Embroidered, but not by needles. Hair has gone all funny. Killed it with my dye. This hormones it's falling out. Really don't know why. Guess I should age naturally. But I don't know why I should. V8 Lover
I've traveled through outer space, sat buckled to the seat, daydreamed with aliens all around. The outside domain was a blur, I rode supersonic steel knifing lush countryside between chasms of skyscraper structures. I tried to decipher the language of such folk, who seemed unfazed by my jokes. Their gaze, the same slant, followed my every move, I felt like an un-caged freak, myself an alien in a future-world riding bullets.

Falling back to the blank slate dark night of the soul rising Supersonic winds are whirling Megastorms with shattering glass flying Ooh I feel the acid rain pouring I see the dust devils dancing hurricane thunder's wrecking in Wild Neptune tides are rising Back and forth rising Crushing drowning and burning Neptune tides Neptune tides This is a tidal war It's an etheric war in the pathless land A battle of the titans Loosing to the big black hole The open walls are closing in But I see the oasis on the horizon Beconing for my unbegotten soul My spirit rises with rage I slay the beasts and chain the demons Take back my wings of freedom And set my spirit free © Sonia Ettyang 2019

Neptune Tides
Slowly unplugging dreams Holding my breath Uncomforted contentment beams Calmed by screams Cords of love and lust I light the past to déjà vu Cords of hatred and trust I light the future for you My fingertips burn with jealousy Living celestial reverie Success enveloped by a fallacy I was suffocated at birth. Dragged by the liberation I was suffocated at birth. Decorated with colorful lacerations I was suffocated at birth. With hard cored freedom and insulation I was suffocated at birth. Killed by supersonic maturation…

Down at the barbershop where the upbeat finesse fills the scene, hypnotic basslines and smoking beats rise from the radio into the jazzy air.   Various boys and men come by to get close haircuts, fresh fades, and dope designs. Harmonic flows travel across the shimmering space, bright waves of excellent taste, a thrilling serenity of light, as the barbers create magic in the brilliant place.   Biggie’s lyrical anthem, Big Poppa, blazes around the room, hip-hopping jams full of deep spins and breaking booms. Groovy barbers rap to the beat, spitting fire flaming diction in glowing dimension, marching in glorious rhythms, as the whole masterpiece becomes a supersonic sea of incessant boogying and wavy arms, snapping ankles and dancing feet, an engine racing extravagance moving in high flight.

Down At The Barbershop
I know they've been sung about many times before Cursed at more times than I've breathed in oxygen And I know they'll be here for longer than I'll be And they'll go in their own time, winking out without flare, But now, if they could feel the cavern gaping in my chest, Deeper and blacker than dark matter, If they could hear this scream, supersonic, ultrasound, They would simply cease to exist.
