"socially" poems
by definition, lust is extreme ****** desire for someone by nature, lust is uncontrollable... I'm attracted to my thirty-seven year old male teacher and my eighteen year old male coworker and the quirky girl who sits behind me in history, what? by religion, lust is a sin, punishable by Hell, whatever that is. lust is unavoidable, but socially unacceptable to act upon.

lust
I saw you from across the gym and the second my eyes laid on you I knew I was never going to be the same. Is it possible to fall in love with a stranger, because I think I just did. Your posture resembled the self-confidence that filled your ***** Your hair a blonde hue that I have never been attracted to before. How could it be, you already have a piece of me. I couldn’t take my eyes off of you, you see. For you were already starting to seep into me. Maybe it was the idea that I can feel love like this, for someone I don’t even know. Or maybe it is that I looked into your blue eyes from across the room and felt like I knew you. My emotions were wired, and my thoughts gambled. I had to remind myself  how to walk and remember that staring in awe isn’t generally socially acceptable. I can’t believe I just fell in love with a stranger. You tossed the basketball with such grace, it sliding off your fingers so effortless. Your shoulders broad and your stamina grounded. The way you slid across the floor so smoothly chasing after the ball that went perfectly into the net. When the smile grew on your face as your friend shot the ball, my soul felt warm as I looked into the happiness of yours. Your teeth, strategically placed by God’s fingers. Resembling how perfect we will all soon be. I can’t believe this is me. Falling in love with a stranger, what else is new. The second I saw you I knew My confidence was back and I began to come to life again. So maybe you were an angel sent from God. Teaching me that I still do have hope. Showing me that my heart is still in enough pieces to love. What ever the case and outcome of this, I feel happy. I feel at peace that maybe, just maybe, someday I will lay eyes on someone and know they will embrace me for the rest of eternity.

Overwhelming mental congestion for perfection, Socially influenced blueprints of future attraction. Constructive criticism given by construction workers, The labor of family and friends for reassurance. A solid foundation of first impressions, Structured walls of growth and development. Insulation of natural feelings and experiences, Ventilation to cool down the heated encounters. Electrical wiring of an emotional and physical connection, A circuitry of passion and romance with a light switch. Hardwood flooring for candle lit dinners and ballroom dancing, Granite kitchen counters for intimate midnight snacks. An attractive exterior siding to woo the public eye, A secure lock of commitment on all the doors. A roof of trust, and a picket fence, And now, my love, I’m simply yours.

Faking Bad In anticipation of my Evaluation to be declared Non Compos Mentos I slept under a bridge For three days "Getting into character," But on the morning of My intake interview My hair fell perfectly, I mean I looked like A ******* rock star. College girls on the bus Were giving me their Numbers and my skin, Which I'd purposely sunburnt And caked in the finest filth, Glowed like an Australian Chippendale dancer named Weegie And even the female Assisstant D.A. Who had busted me for vagrancy Waved her ******* from The third story building Of the Courthouse. No matter how much I Tried to speak gibberish Poetry and philosophical Tracts spewed from my mouth. Shuffling past the park I beat eight Grand Masters At chess on move 1 Inadvertently I solved The Phi Epsilom Theorem By kicking stones Into an algorythym. When I arrived they didn't Make me wait at all. My caseworker giggled like A schoolgirl while I told her Each day was like an endless shift In a Chinese fish- gutting Sweatshop and every one of my fellow Employees was motivationalist Richard Simmons. She ungirdled her enormous **** and as they spilled Like fishguts onto the desk She began to howl **** me, **** me, oh **** Me right here in Front of the open window On State Street as everyone Watches me ******* the strongest, Healthiest, smartest, most popular, Well-adjusted man in the world. The rest of the examination was Also a success. But as I left the Mental HealthCenter feeling marvelous I accidentally bumped An old woman with the door: "Watch out you manic-depressive Schizoid with Socially Avoidant Features klutz." -Thomas L. I feel jailed in my own body socially forced to conceive emotionally sick hurt within Scared to transmit pain in this age of depression reminding my ancestors' culpability; will I also hurt my descendant? Struggling to finish a phd in this age of precarity thinking it might push me; Or, will I fail it all?

Now, pregnant:
The anonymous connection, a sort of social disconnect. A freedom of speech, though not socially correct. Able to find out half the world across. The broadest topics, the tiniest loss Images and moving pictures, Different kinds of art. Differing opinions, pulling all apart Learning all the facts, the tiny and the small. Putting it out there visible to all.

The Anonymous Connection
Defeating the power of pain by resilience, and defining themselves by the number of times they get back up , they are making a head towards cherishing the every moment they still have in their own life. Mistaken for being numb, They not even feel the intensity of pain that comes with life, Socially detached , they feel nothing . Oh but they do feel something , In fact they feel everything, The feeling of loss , disappointments and regrets with heavy heart . But the power of resilience does not let their pain to define them , Instead it defines their tenacity and strength !

Power of resilience
I can be you, or I can be them I can be she, or I can be him but why be a con artist of someone else like a shadow to my best friend, when I can be my own person, a unique creation created in the image of God but representin my own reflection because I don't wanna see you, them, she, or him in the mirror I wanna see me through my own eyes, 20/20 vision, but clearer but the more I conform, the image of someone else draws nearer and I begin to lose sight of myself, look back in the mirror, and see myself in the rear a shadow to another figure, a copy of a personality livin' out another person's dreamed out reality copying what they think, and succumbing to conformity but that ain't me.... what you see visually and how I appear physically is what makes me comfortable, that's why I'm an independent, politically I don't follow the norms and rules of what's most accepted socially the only commandments I live by are the ones given Biblically I ain't  the best saint though, I mean I do sin every day but the only one I wanna copy is Jesus Christ, in every possible way on the other hand, Satan is out there, trynna tempt me on how to act and even what words I say he's out offering me drinks, but I reply, "I'm okay" cause I don't care if "everyone else is doin' it" I just live how I like to live, that's what makes me a true non-conformist I dress how I wish and not because it's in style I keep my hair big, I do whatever makes me smile I'm not trynna impress you or fit into your clique I don't give women pick-up lines and act like I'm slick I'm me, just me, no facades, just real and if you can't accept that, then move forward but don't steal the things that make me special, from my poems to my appeal so don't try to change me and keep my uniqueness concealed I could care less about your thoughts and any of your judgements I refuse to give your words power, I can make your points become pointless I'm not trynna be harsh, I just love to be different I wanna be an original and keep my vibe realistic not a second you, but a first me, no counterfeit I try to keep up with what God said in Matt 26 verse 41, the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak so pray not to give into temptation and stay on your feet I encourage us to keep our standards and what makes us unique and accept anyone else who doesn't wanna repeat everything you say, and everything you do sometimes it's the people that are different that come off the most true because they're not sayin or actin' in ways that you approve they're given you their honest opinion, you should keep them closest to you don't conform, forget what people want you to be just be yourself, not a copy of reality TV.

They're huddled 'round their periodic lunch tables, square and socially pyramidal, and I'm at the bottom. But they're just fluorine factions, bullies at heart trying to steal my e-lectricity with their negativity. Because I'm light, Ultra-violet violence to the eyes, Magnesium burning. Anti-matter meets matter. And that catalytic, cataclysmic energy is attractive. And they see me. They see, see, see, But I've got too many Cs on this side of my false, metallic personality. I'd better balance myself Or I'm not getting a good reaction. Classic ionic, ironic idiocy. I've bonded with you, just compounding the issues. 'Cause you're a complete acetate without a solution: now all I've got are problems. Dot Diagrams are dotted lines separating you from me, because over the years what was a bond became a partially negative charge against me. I was your oxygen, and you were carbon -ated, bubbly and explosive. We would Combust. But now all's left but to see, oh, two of your new girlfriends flanking your sides, 'cause we've decomposed, split, gone off to better things. Monatomic monotones lace my speech, and I'm pining for something to complete this emp-d shell that is myself. 'Cause I miss what we had. We had chemistry.

Chemistry
At times I feel socially awkward hiding away those eyes from contact mumbling and stuttering as though I were stumbling, upon the words as I was discovering. Please don’t think I don’t want to talk when I rush out, Please don’t think I don’t want to talk, when I don’t open your messages. I escape out of nervosity I feel the fuzziness in my head butterflies in my stomach nervosity in my nerves lack of air in my lungs tremble in my muscles and the gritting of my teeth on my nails as it drains every ounce of energy out of me. I hide behind shadows so I don’t encounter any social interaction. No matter how many times I plan and play a conversation in my head I shudder and fret in reality, making myself look like an awkward mess. I want to be friends I want to say hi but the words do not escape for I feel tongue tied. I feel conscience and dreadful for being such an awkward mess choking on words unable to let them escape my tongue. I am thinking more than I am speaking I can have a conversation in my head but somehow, I find it difficult in reality. But then you reach out and make the first move It makes it easier; only to find myself being an embarrassment once again. But you don’t judge you play it cool and remain patient you still show an eager to talk and maybe that was what I needed to be comfortable and me.

Social Phobia/Social Anxiety
My 2 Cents “the advocacy of women’s rights on the grounds of political, social, and economic equality to men.” Let me start by mentioning that I don’t usually get involved with political matters, but in this case, I’d say it’s more of a basic human rights matter. I’m a man, and I’m a feminist. I was lucky enough to grow up in a home with three women; my mother and two older sisters. Growing up with them gave me an enormous amount of respect for women, (even though I may have lost a certain amount of socially expected masculinity along the way), and their current lives continue to increase my respect for the opposite gender. My oldest sister is leaving to study abroad at Oxford in less than a week to major in philosophy. Philosophy. She also graduated high school with a 4.0 and was involved in power lifting competitions and is enlisted in ROTC. Simply put, she’s an animal. She’s worked hard her entire life and I’d hate to see a world that put that hard work to waste. My other sister is working three jobs to pay her way through college and is planning to major in psychology. I’m always envious of her work ethic and level of commitment to not only her education, but to her friends and family as well. My mother has been my backbone since I was a child. She was always the one I turned to in times of trouble, and continues to be. She works hard everyday, while going through mentally straining marriage problems, and comes home and still asks me about my day. She has given me nothing but unconditional love for my entire existence. For these reasons, it boggles my mind why anyone would ever be anti-feminism. I am genuinely confused as to why, because their bodies are different, women get less privileges, respect, opportunities, and even money. I just don’t get it. I am also disgusted that women are seen by most men as walking ****** organs. l will admit genuine guilt to using the number scale to “rate” women. It’s something I grew up with, but now it sickens me. Assigning a number to a woman based on your misguided views on how she should look, whether you would **** her, is something I find repulsive. There’s nothing wrong with admiring the opposite *** but no one gives a **** about your stupid opinion, especially the woman. I hope someday if I ever have a daughter that she will have the privilege of living in a country of gender equality, tolerance, and open-mindedness. Anyway, I just wanted to put my two cents in. I am a man. I am a feminist. Peace.

I don't know who you are I don't know what you do I don't know where you are But I know that You have wrecked me Mentally, psychologically and socially Rendering me incoherent in speech And incapable of action Reduced to a blundering mass Of bloated bones and sinew Ready to collapse like a pack of cards At the slightest hint of a crisis I don't know who you are I don't know what you do I don't know where you are But I know that You have wrecked me And you shall pay dearly for it Whether it be death by a thousand cuts Or a pill of cyanide in your cup of tea Or a bullet right in your temple Or a mighty fall from the tallest tower Or a bite from a venomous serpent Or a decapitation by the mighty guillotine Or even, having your soul ****** out From your filthy mouth I don't know who you are I don't know what you do I don't know where you are But I know that You have wrecked me And I shall not rest Until I finish you, once and for all And the world is rid, of your menace

You have wrecked me
Your soul is your current state of being! The difference between a good soul and a bad soul; is how much physical and mental effort you are (((compelled))) to put in; to ease the grief and suffering of others. There's a broad spectrum of soulful and soulless in individuals; and their capacity to empathize with other living things! So are you a good soul and soulful? or a bad soul and souless? A good soul benefits the world socially and strives to improve the environment for everyone including the next generation; where as shallow souls; mostly look to benefit themselves and have little regard for anything else.

Good & Bad souls
On the land molded by footsteps and ruled by obnoxiously bleached clowns, Visited by swarms of neighborhood guttersnipes and the opulent from uptown. Allured by the traditional Irish circus music and the grinding of rusted gears, To arrive at dawn and to leave only when the night sky is tired of fireworks and flares. Skittish and gleaming eyes would roll on the floor, struck by daze and lost in wonderment, At the marvel of giant steel rides and god forsaken and socially foretoken genetic mutants. The word of a woman with two faces and the boy with a tail would make any catholic priest run. Amusing the rational ones, alongside the man with elastic skin and the girl with the forked tongue. The opera lady with outlandish proportions and tumorous lips sings to break a piece of cheap glassware. Little do people know, that the magician’s red gloves are actually stained with blood of rabbit that disappeared. Their noses get caught in the medley of fragrances from the exotic perfumes shop, Blended with the saccharine tang from the stall that sells candy floss and soda pops. Indulging over the overly priced confectioneries at the stall of the baker with the forbidding grin. Try it a hundred times, try it a thousand, you’ll never get the fifth one right in the game of rings. People will come out screaming from the haunted house, only to laugh about it later, Little do they know, that skeletons that drove them pale and white couldn't get any realer. They’ll jostle and struggle to make their way through the crowd to various rides and attractions. Hustling to navigate through the maze the carnival is, encountered by countless illusions. And once your body wears out and senses give in,that’s when you've truly entered the carnival state of mind. Your ears stinging ,nose stifled, tongue baffled, eyes exhausted, and your sense of judgment blinded. That’s when my masked act begins, the most profitable act at the carnival, Diving into the heart of the crowd,to draw an act of brilliance lasting an ephemeral. Slithering across the crowd in a different disguise every hour, concealed by stealth. Sneaking into every nook and corner and slipping my furtive hands into your pockets for a little bit of wealth. Only to dine with the clowns and the carnival family at the haunted house at the end of the day. And of course, rabbits for dinner,if the baker may

Maturity is not a matter of how old, how smart or how successful you are; It has everything to do with how well you manage walking through fire. Maturity is not just the ability to have *** or not to have *** It has to do with one’s ability to empathize, feel and connect with another human being, and balance one’s passion with compassion. Maturity does not necessarily mean that you can support yourself in every each way. But it does mean that you don’t base your peace and happiness on the emotional support, praise, affirmation or approval of others. Maturity has nothing to do with how charming you are or how socially graceful you have made yourself to be; it has much to do with how you handle your own anger, fear, lust, greed, jealousy and other inner demons when you are away from the limelight. Maturity does not mean to live one’s life seriously or cautiously all the time; It is also to know when is the time to relax, to forget oneself and dance wildly as if no one is watching. Maturity is not to value what the world values, or to despise what the world despises. It is to see treasure in what the world discards, and magic in what is ordinary. Maturity is knowing that one does not have to be “perfect” all the time; It has to do with how well we take failure, rejection, betrayal and defeat and learn from them. Maturity is realizing that one does not always have to agree with what everybody else believes in; it is the ability to formulate one’s own opinion, makes one’s own decision and having the courage to be different. Maturity is not the ability to win many friends or attract many lovers. It is the ability to generate joy and fulfillment from within, without relying on the company of others. Maturity is the ability to enjoy one’s solitude and silence in the darkness of the night.

Just because I'm introverted doesn't mean I'm shy Doesn't mean I have no feelings or I never cry Just because I'm introverted doesn't mean I'm scared Doesn't mean I'm hateful or socially impaired Just because I'm introverted doesn't say I'm weak Maybe I don't feel the need to continuously speak Just because I'm introverted doesn't make me weird Doesn't mean that I am judged, misunderstood, or feared Just because I'm introverted doesn't mean I have no life Doesn't mean that I couldn't be a great friend or loving wife.

Stereotypes
1483 The Robin is a Gabriel In humble circumstances— His Dress denotes him socially, Of Transport’s Working Classes— He has the punctuality Of the New England Farmer— The same oblique integrity, A Vista vastly warmer— A small but sturdy Residence A self denying Household, The Guests of Perspicacity Are all that cross his Threshold— As covert as a Fugitive, Cajoling Consternation By Ditties to the Enemy And Sylvan Punctuation—

The Robin is a Gabriel
Long before she was born The balance, the societal scale, The ground upon which her wobbly feet Will learn to stand upright and walk steady Had been socially disintegrated. Arms with which her clay mind Is to be molded and framed Had been morally fractured. The ‘responsible majority' Saddled  with the making of serious decisions Had decided against her- The minor, with fewer rights And a body like hers- Double jeopardy, I will say. The verdict always the same, Unanimous more often than not Guilty!! Is the girl child; If she grows too fast Or he touches her inappropriately. So she learns from her early days The skill of helplessness All through the pain and the shame For it is always her fault Always has been Long before she arrived ©Belema .S. Ekine

LEARNED HELPLESSNESS
American Democracy is setting a trend: American Democracy is a Sitcom, or perhaps a Game Show of demagogic, narcissistic sociopaths tricking and manipulating the Public via various sources in a highly consolidated Media industry into thinking they vote for a particular flavor of Tyranny when in reality Today's flavor of Tyranny is all decided for you because the burden of Choice is far too stressful for the Moderner without proper medication, and the power of Choice may require some sort of educated critical Thinking, some sort of re-edification which is far too much for us to handle in this socially sanctioned doped-up state and with such an intentionally failing Education system from K through 12 and beyond. With American Democracy, We have a grand Illusion of Choice. It's so convincing that many believe the Illusion is True. (Sort of like hew we think of Reality, but with Choice of Government!) For American Democracy, They don't want mass Education. They don't want mass Edification. They don't want Critical Thinking; Those things prevent a Control by few. In American Democracy, They intentionally destroy progresses made, like Rights, They perpetuate stigmas about things like genders and the concept of "race" itself They propagate Terror as their Sheeple scream from the sidelines for more They defile the sanctity of Human Experience, of Reality itself and chain us to a system that benefits only a few while destroying everything else, like Climate and Environment. These Demagogues are Satan, if Satan is real: They tempt us with the things we don't need, filling us with Stress, Desires, Prejudices and Fears, and ceaselessly wage war on institutions of Education, all the while keeping us from finding the things we already have within each of us. This System of American Democracy has degraded into a  corrupted fractal of the ages-old ways of Tyranny and Terror: Aristocracy, Plutocracy, Patriarchy, Oligarchy, Kleptocracy, Demagoguery, Bankocracy, Corporatocracy, Fascism; Tell me, What is the ******* difference? I mean, even Adolf ****** was elected democratically under the pretense of "Change" then, for weeks later, suspended civil rights indefinitely after a likely false-flag 'attack' on the Reichstag in 1933, (for which the Nazis blamed the communists.) under the pretense of "Security": Demagoguery runs Amok Among disedified Minds. They say "Freedom" and "Democracy" as if it vindicates their Totalitarianism.

"Commitment issues" Commitment: a designated set of time Issues: problems So I cannot, successfully, Designate an "appropriate" amount of time To a relationship Is that right? Keep in mind, These women enter my life And I tell them I don't believe in marriage And they say "that's ok" Until it's not. Maybe it's a comment I made Or maybe they forgot But something changes over time And I am not an object I am not some possession That people can lay claims to I am a human With ever-changing needs and desires With thoughts and feelings And my own perception of reality So maybe I get anxious when people Try to put some hold on me You chalk it up to commitment issues What if I just don't like feeling owned? What if I simply refuse To let anyone remove my autonomy? And what's even wrong with that? Who gets to decide what is an "Appropriate" amount of time? Oh, wait, That's "forever" right? Says who? Why should I continue to chase this Socially-constructed dream Of spending my entire life with one person If that's not what makes me happy? Trust me, I've tried for a long time And I could never seem to find A singular being Who I'd willingly spend eternity with If that even exists And until this point I've been unhappy most of my life Reflecting on my failed attempts at Happy monogamy I am finally happy now Free love is beautiful It has liberated my soul It has liberated my love And my sense of self For once I feel happy most days I am focusing on myself now Instead of pouring everything into another I'm growing more everyday And learning more about who I am But you just brush that off Saying my polyamorous identification Is a manifestation Of some fear of commitment It couldn't possibly be the real me It couldn't possibly be the way I feel happiest Because it's not the "normal" way to desire? It's not the logical form of love? Or it's just different Or it's just new And you rejecting it within me Means you aren't accepting me for who I am In this moment If that's the case Then I don't know who you're in love with Because this is who I am Whether you like it Or disagree with it Or not This is who I am And I'm so over Trying to validate Justify And explain myself Just because someone disagrees with my form of loving

"My daughter, when you grow up (enough) to be able to brandish self-sovereignty tempered by self-discipline I only hope that if and when you may choose to try whatever drugs may appeal to you you are least fortunate enough to have access to clean ones and a safe enough and comfortable enough environment in which to study your interrelationship with them, intellectually, physiologically, psychologically, spiritually, and socially, but not necessarily in that order. I won't tell you what to do, but my advice is this: Don't eat yellow snow: don't snort yellow coke. If you're gonna poison yourself, poison yourself with the good **** If you want to see whats up with something, be certain your sample size is representative. That's just good Science. No one likes a false statistic except those in power who wish to remain in power so maintain thy power to wield thy freedom of choice armed with an arsenal of personal experiences sailing with an armada of accurate information upon the high seas of this uncertain but certainly beautiful Life, but be prepared to accept the consequences. That's just responsibility. That alone oughtta put you well ahead of the curve."

Self-Sovereignty
Paltry people project putrid opinions, propelled from puny pinpoint brains, in their pint-sized prickly pineapple pulp heads. If they stopped and stayed silent, stood still and listened, stuff some significant people said would seep in, and seem simply superb when seen with acceptance and socially sensitive skills

Prejudice
I'm trying to meet new people and everything in between. I like to get drunk on patios, porches, tailgates, and float trips, and any outdoor scenario. I have a definite weakness for all things sweet. Pipeline rig welder in the making. Ask me, voted most likely to succeed in highschool. I watch too much netflix and enjoy crying over Frank Ocean. I am going to sue the **** out of you. I'm a guy that sometimes carries a pocket thesaurus. Socially conscious dude who probably drinks too much. Amateur chef. Banjo Jedi. New to this Midwest life.
