"sculpture" poems
Give them to me. All the pieces of your broken heart. Give them to me. I'll take them. All the rough-hewn misshapen bits of your shattered dreams. Give them to me. I will take them. Give them to me. They are wanted here. All the parts of your misspent childhood. All the regrets of ticking seconds behind you. Give them to me. And we will build a cathedral. A stained glass window of who we are as tall and as beautiful as it should be. Let me have them. And we will make a mosaic that stretches as wide as the sky. Showing every color your heart gained from the bits and pieces left on the ground. I will take them. And forge a sculpture of how beautiful the ideas are that we cast out in our failings and we will cast it in our failings. Let me have them. And we will ***** a monument of all the small things in the shape that you remember them. Towering. Looming. Striking. Beautiful. Let me have them so we might bind the words said and regretted, (or worse) left unsaid in leather and call it scripture. Our Psalms. Our Proverbs: *“The tip of my finger dangles like my tongue. Wanting to touch something beautiful.” “If it were not for him, it would have been us.” “You were all my brightest colors.” “I wish I were more like you.” “I wish I were less like me.” “I am sped.”* And we will read them at dawn like litany. Stretching our voices to the corners of the universe. Asking for the wishes you make when you are scared. Or alone. Or both. That we may take them. And make a blanket. A blanket to cover our childhood and let it rest at last. I will take them. All the parts you no longer want. Give them to me. Because they are what make us beautiful. Give them to me. That I may forge them into pitch and feathers and craft mighty wings. That I may take flight from your worry. And soar on the updraft of your misconception. Give them to me. I will take them. Because I would rather burn like Icarus than to have never dared to fly.

* What an "ANGELUS" time it is These times of LOVE The "SALATS" of the moment embraces everything around us Is it the "FAJR" of birds kissing? Is it the "ASR" of cats stretching? Is it the "MAGHRIB" of peacocks screams? Those are the sound of LOVE I suppose I can see on the cheeks The wetness of the kiss That has not dried yet Who is the LOVE (BELOVEDz /  LOVERz) who causes The tears swell in the eyes Of the one who LOVES? Why is the eagerness to touch The bare shoulders so enticing? Why the heart longs to drown into LOVE (BELOVEDz / LOVERz) core? Placing one's face on the lap The flower smells jasmine rains Close eyes and experience my LOVE When I seal your pores with my lips? Can I sing you lullabies When you sleep besides me peacefully? Can I snap a new art sculpture Out of your hair every morning? Forget your thoughts While feeling my LOVE By being in LOVE with me Why the words become worthless When we share A common breathing between our lips? Who is listening to the music Of our heart-beats? Why do roses rain over us When we share our chromosomes? Who are they? There, below the waterfalls Behind the mountain caves The two magical unicorns in LOVE? Who will pray "TEFILLAH" When we are in Ultimate union of LOVE? Who will "TENEBRAE" our lives To illuminate our souls? So that we "THEOPHANY" the LOVE deity of ONENESS Now tell me... Will the clouds answer our LOVE-call? Will the first ray of sun ever find us? Will the moon ever illuminate dark lives? Will the stars sparkle over our springs? Will the dew drop give birth to seedlings? To save the cosmos & planet EARTH Let us embrace into Single semantic of LOVE *

The landscape of a sacred river, which speaks of a story, The landscape of the life of Lord Krishna, Krishna, the God of truth and courage, Krishna , the smile of every living self around, Krishna , the sound of eternity  past lands, Krishna the bearer of all that is sand and soul, Krishna, the selfless warrior , Krishna, an armor less sculpture , victory residing in his eyes, Krishna the epitome of love , Krishna , who lies in those remains deep down in the sea, Krishna, past centuries residing in the hearts of millions, Krishna , visible in the eyes of believers of his love, Krishna embedded in the sound of every string, every rhythm, every breathe of mine.

My stiff arms hit the metal of the door as I force it open, against the chilled fist of wind, pounding hard upon the glass windows and then equally upon my face and forearms. It had to be below 50 degrees, but I had hoped that the cold could help me feel again. Feel something. Unfortunately, this ice only froze my fingers, leaving my body as numb as my mind. Later, as I rid my machine of the cloth concealment, protecting the scars laced into my skin. The water boils as I examine my life-lines, these battle scars, in the mirror and can only cringe in thought of the disappointment drowning the faces of those I care about most: their eyes drooping down with the weight of eyebrows, creased diagonally, half shock and the other half burning discontentment. They purse their lips and stab my eyes with their daggers, when I chuckle nervously. I shake my head of these thoughts from my speculation and step into the steam, hoping the heat could help me feel again. However, the fire does not scorch my body, nor incinerate the emptiness, it only slides down the marble sculpture my body feels to be (equivalent to the concrete barrier that builds behind my eyes)

What would I do for you?  There's lots of things, actually I would spontaneously start speaking Hungarian for you...but it probably would sound like nonsense and some Hungarian dude    Would be all like "Haver, nem beszél magyarul"         I would shrug, because                        I don't know Hungarian... But I'd still do it for you, if you wanted me to. I would fly us to ancient Mayan burial grounds, where we could    Learn all about a lost culture            We would run into a cursed                                     Mayan Chief, but he'd actually be pretty cool                          He would teach us how to do a rain dance,          Every once in awhile he'd look at you and say "kíichpan"       and I'd be like..."Dude, back off..."                        He's like 2000 years old...                                                               He's way too old for you. I would carve you an Ice Sculpture in your likeness         Taking care to make sure that every detail was perfect and reflected                        Your beauty                               In every possible way.      I'm not too good at Ice Sculpting, though, so it might just end up looking                            Like an oddly-shaped block of ice.       Sorry...             I hope you would like it anyway For you, I would count to infinity      Which might not sound like a feat, at first    But then I would count back to zero   I'm pretty sure no one's done that before....      I won't be able to do it all in one day So it might take awhile...                   Hope you don't mind waiting for me     I would write poetry every day for you             Because I know that I would never run out of things           To write about ....Well, maybe every 'other' day.

I'm a work of art, your protege. You're my sculpture, my teacher. I'm your troublemaker, your rebel. You're my lover, my peacemaker. I'm a poet, your songwriter. You're my inspiration, my muse. I'm a changer, a modifier of life. You're my guide, my leader. I was a hater, a freak. You made me better, An individual with a love for life and A man of creativity. You're the remover of hate, And the replacer of love. You saw me as I am, As the person I was meant to be. Piece by piece and step by step You put back the parts of my broken self. You didn't abandon me in need, You didn't leave me when you saw the red flags, You stayed, You made me drop the anger and put up the surrender. You took me in, You loved me. You made me see life in a way I never knew existed. You love me now, You'll love me always. Forever till forever meets no end, You're love knows no limits And is meant to be eternal.

You and me
only the moon knew her darkest secrets, the depth of her thought was the deepest, up all night, its something she does frequent, she's an angel from heaven, that fell for a demon, a beautiful image, turned into a broken spirit, constant arguments and disagreements, her smile held pain, but she stuck to concealment, because her friends and the world were incoherent, I got to see her smile one day, ever since then, nothing has been the same, she no longer puts that same smile on her face, she once felt grace, but it turned to disgrace, the beauty she holds is inexplainable, the purity in her soul is gold, yet unattainable, because she no longer holds trust, what she thought was love, turned into lust,,an addicting drug, that having is a must, the magical feeling, turned into dust, she misses the memories, kisses, and hugs, now she confides in her own sorrow, asking god for a better tomorrow, he gives her a light to follow, but her own pride is hard to swallow, A beautiful intelligent female, who felt love through the most intimate detail, at school she was the most diligent female, filled in amazing aspects, and assets, but she continues to feel the absence, and still doesnt comprehend the circumstances, for his actions, of dissatisfaction, still to this day hasnt changed her reaction, the biggest heart break shes ever dealt with, it was minor to him, but her heart really felt it, like a beautiful ice sculpture, she melted, and there I was the person to who she vented, staring deep into her dark brown eyes, i saw what nobody else saw, deep deep inside, she was wise at mind, i searched more within, as the sun rised, a beautiful lonely girl, that told me under the stars and moonlight, "hold me close and never let go." i was there to carefully listen, she opened up like a book. after she looked up to me and said i was different, that i just might be what her heart was missin, her eyes and smile once again glistened, i told her, "look at the stars, look how they shine for you, until the stars in the sky shine no more, i'll always be there, until the end of time for you."

Twelve Olympians, to rule as they choose. Twelve Olympians, we'll start with Zeus. God of sky, thunder, lightning, law. Ruled the Olympians with the justice he saw. Commonly referred to as the Father. Next is Poseidon, God of Water. "A tamer of horses and a saviour of ships," Said in one of Homer's hymns. Next is Hera, Queen of the Gods, and of women. Giving mothers a carriage, and marriage to men. Next is Demeter, Goddess of Harvest, giving fertility. Hades captured her daughter, Persephone, and her virginity. Then there's Athena, Goddess of Wisdom. Lept out of Zeus' head, and earned her throne in the kingdom. Apollo is next, God of Music, Poetry, Light. Also capable of bringing plague and plight. Artemis, Goddess of Moon and Hunt, and Apollo's twin. Guided mothers through childbirth, a sacred ****** Also, beloved Aphrodite, Goddess of Love. Lover of Ares, who favored battles and blood. Only Hephaestus and Aphrodite were wed. Fire, metalwork, art of sculpture he led. Also, there's Hermes, a god bringing word. Among other things, guide to the Underworld. Finally, there's Hesta, Goddess of the Hearth. Feeding families and serving the home with warmth. Twelve Olympians, to rule the sky. Twelve Olympians, give your memory a try.

A thing that blossoms from the air: the air; nothing blossoms from you. The earth is itself, and fills its own definition for the eyes to claim dominion over progress. Cause-and-effect isn’t the mind’s sculpture, but the universe’s movement to the self. The canvas isn’t marked by the empty; the painting is without our hands, painting its own form, and moves us to itself. It is not ours, but we become it.

Haiku ( black bird )
Cool black night thru redwoods cars parked outside in shade behind the gate, stars dim above the ravine, a fire burning by the side porch and a few tired souls hunched over in black leather jackets. In the huge wooden house, a yellow chandelier at 3 A.M. the blast of loudspeakers hi-fi Rolling Stones Ray Charles Beatles Jumping Joe Jackson and twenty youths dancing to the vibration thru the floor, a little **** in the bathroom, girls in scarlet tights, one muscular smooth skinned man sweating dancing for hours, beer cans bent littering the yard, a hanged man sculpture dangling from a high creek branch, children sleeping softly in their bedroom bunks. And 4 police cars parked outside the painted gate, red lights revolving in the leaves. December 1965

This is a cold perfect night The sun switch off the light Hear my guitar owns the night I stood on the beam of the light To give the role for the moon He reflects It through the dune There your heart such a stone See a rock keeps a stone to retain Then the rock was my silly brain Such a sculpture looks really fine Keeps the memory a part of mine In a hall of the magestic britain I'm inveterate to cross the line Carefully she watches how i speak In a magistic break doesn't bleak Tired world makes me the freak A plague of feelings makes me sick The steak of heart does not streak The plague is there wouldn't break So i keep my eyes away of her eyes No escape from the morning breeze A viscous fail on her warmer tears While i'm lost between the aisles No matter how much hard I do Can't Escape the reflections of you You Know my soul keeps crying too But i can't forgive The sins you do Destiny keeps our separated ways Deeds aren't hearts keeps the ties Author/ Aladdin Aures H.

The Reflections Of You
we both had two different painting styles. he was into calligraphy, the bold and gentle strokes of black ink on white paper; i was into watercolor, the translucent colors slowly spreading to a gradient on a Canson. we were two painters with brush styles of stark contrasts. three objects. a flower arrangement, an antique vase and grecian sculpture. we were asked to pick the most eye-catching one out of the three, paint it in our of style of representation. and so we began. him: what will you be painting? me: i can't tell, you might judge me for it. him: alright, but promise me you'll show it to me once you're done. me: okay. same to you too, then. hours passed, and while i often discreetly glimpsed at him, he caught my eye sometimes and would make funny faces or just softly smiled at me. i could not deny that my hands were shaking as i dunked my brushes into the watercolor jar and continued to finish my painting. him: i'm finally done. this is a masterpiece. me: i believe it's the same for me too. him: should we count down as we turn our boards to each other? me: nothing better than a surprise of what's the most beautiful thing out of all the objects before us. we flipped our boards to each other's viewpoint, and we were both shocked to be looking at ourselves, a painting of ourselves, one done by the other. he painted me in black and white, a figure-ground influenced painting, strong in lines, simplicity in its finest state, rendering me bare and raw. i painted him in pale colors, a positive reflection of him lighting up life, and soft shadings to give depth to the meaning of his existence. after knowing this and scrutinizing our works, his cheeks turned pink as the pink on my palette, while i covered my eyes with my hair as dark as his ink. we burst out laughing and blushing at the fact that the most beautiful object before our eyes was each other. sometimes, i wonder if he's my muse, the art or the artist. and i felt like a watercolor jar at that exact moment, as if brushes soaked with different colors were being dipped into me all at once, the tint, hue and vibrancy bleeding into the clear liquid, getting murky. it was like those colors are my emotions, and with every emotion mixing, my thoughts get murky. i guess this is how it feels to be in love with all forms of art at once.

we both had two different painting styles. he was into calligraphy, the bold and gentle strokes of black ink on white paper; i was into watercolor, the translucent colors slowly spreading to a gradient on a Canson. we were two painters with brush styles of stark contrasts. three objects. a flower arrangement, an antique vase and grecian sculpture. we were asked to pick the most eye-catching one out of the three, paint it in our of style of representation. and so we began. him: what will you be painting? me: i can't tell, you might judge me for it. him: alright, but promise me you'll show it to me once you're done. me: okay. same to you too, then. hours passed, and while i often discreetly glimpsed at him, he caught my eye sometimes and would make funny faces or just softly smiled at me. i could not deny that my hands were shaking as i dunked my brushes into the watercolor jar and continued to finish my painting. him: i'm finally done. this is a masterpiece. me: i believe it's the same for me too. him: should we count down as we turn our boards to each other? me: nothing better than a surprise of what's the most beautiful thing out of all the objects before us. we flipped our boards to each other's viewpoint, and we were both shocked to be looking at ourselves, a painting of ourselves, one done by the other. he painted me in black and white, a figure-ground influenced painting, strong in lines, simplicity in its finest state, rendering me bare and raw. i painted him in pale colors, a positive reflection of him lighting up life, and soft shadings to give depth to the meaning of his existence. after knowing this and scrutinizing our works, his cheeks turned pink as the pink on my palette, while i covered my eyes with my hair as dark as his ink. we burst out laughing and blushing at the fact that the most beautiful object before our eyes was each other. sometimes, i wonder if he's my muse, the art or the artist. and i felt like a watercolor jar at that exact moment, as if brushes soaked with different colors were being dipped into me all at once, the tint, hue and vibrancy bleeding into the clear liquid, getting murky. it was like those colors are my emotions, and with every emotion mixing, my thoughts get murky. i guess this is how it feels to be in love with all forms of art at once.

There is a time in every man's education when he arrives at the conviction that envy is ignorance; that imitation is suicide; that he must take himself for better, for worse, as his portion; that though the wide universe is full of good, no kernel of nourishing corn can come to him but through his toil bestowed on that plot of ground which is given to him to till. The power which resides in him is new in nature, and none but he knows what that is which he can do, nor does he know until he has tried. Not for nothing one face, one character, one fact, makes much impression on him, and another none. This sculpture in the memory is not without preestablished harmony. The eye was placed where one ray should fall, that it might testify of that particular ray. We but half express ourselves, and are ashamed of that divine idea which each of us represents. It may be safely trusted as proportionate and of good issues, so it be faithfully imparted, but God will not have his work made manifest by cowards. A man is relieved and gay when he has put his heart into his work and done his best; but what he has said or done otherwise, shall give him no peace. It is a deliverance which does not deliver. In the attempt his genius deserts him; no muse befriends; no invention, no hope. Trust thyself: every heart vibrates to that iron string. Accept the place the divine providence has found for you, the society of your contemporaries, the connection of events. Great men have always done so, and confided themselves childlike to the genius of their age, betraying their perception that the absolutely trustworthy was seated at their heart, working through their hands, predominating in all their being. And we are now men, and must accept in the highest mind the same transcendent destiny; and not minors and invalids in a protected corner, not cowards fleeing before a revolution, but guides, redeemers, and benefactors, obeying the Almighty effort, and advancing on Chaos and the Dark.

There is a time in every man's education when he arrives at the conviction that envy is ignorance; that imitation is suicide; that he must take himself for better, for worse, as his portion; that though the wide universe is full of good, no kernel of nourishing corn can come to him but through his toil bestowed on that plot of ground which is given to him to till. we play with a retired professional but none of the other kids mind— his alcoholism has gotten the better of his muscle memory and god doesn’t he look bad the ball is an old piece of garbage made from a kind of industry plastic half-flayed alive by loving kicks that expose the moldy gray rubber inner- sphere like some soft eyeball and, behind one of the goals, the boy who plays goalkeeper only on Wednesdays lounges like a pimply Greek sculpture— unable to move as an epileptic fit lazily puppeteers his body while the players pass the ball into his gut and I step aside, too— my stomach aches so badly for the crispy joy of cold cereal I can’t play— some days are like that—shed of their seriousness because it’s more fun to play without a defense even though we’re always losing **** it I just scored a goal!

i woke up today to the world drinking tea and chaos, as if nothing has changed, like the ground hasn't collided and caused the water to rise or the fact that the government just may not care about us at all. the debt we are in could last us a century, and i'm not talkin' about the government funds, i'm worried about how luck is never on our side of the dead green grass but, we can get through this. i've never been one for religion, so when i catch myself saying that i have faith, it's feels like marbles in my mouth and the glass is melting to form a sculpture of how we could be little or we could be big, but only time will tell in between the seconds, and that moment we know which we are, i'll turn to you and tell you if the faith is still crashing on my bad days and i hope you'll stick around if it isn't. if you don't stay, the earth may quake close to a 8.5 and it will go down in history of how difficult it was to piece back my grounds. so even if the world stops spinning, i'll still spin it for you like when you used to pay for my admission and walk me to my doorstep, like there was nothing more dangerous than leaving traces of my footsteps across my dewy lawn. i'll spin it like the beer bottle with the foam settling at the bottom, just so i can see something fluid move because sometimes being fluid is more beautiful than being solid since solidity only has one shape. so once you tell me that you won't be there to spin my bad days to good, i'll leave you alone, like i would the dead carcass of the deer we hit two days ago in your rusty volvo but don't be surprised if you ever wonder if i dream about you and when the answer is only every once in a while.

The moth with newspaper wings sat under the arrow lungs of the eyeless blood dripped falcon, more whole than the super-glued roman sculpture. Next door a 50’s con held up church with a roulette table in the kitchen, and boarded up the massage parlor downstairs. The eye of the man was a centrifuge of ducks, mallard and hen, spiraling outward into evaporated roach-ground asphalt. Next door, slits in the picket fence displayed perfectly formed **** & broach, empty shoes made of feet below, blending fields. The marble foundation formed from twine lollipops and fuzzy candy tabs, ice-etched to the frequency of splintered seashell angels. Next door through the forest of knives a spaceship bearing gargoyles peaked bodies through collages of faces in technicolor sepia mitosis. The heiress molted into tiled pieces, her own dog and sunhat caught in blizzard cuneiform, kaliedescoping again to fractalled inchworms cemented in motion.

Dither Collective
her milk is him her eyes are full of good tidings, washing my body with lavender soap cake, all the dirt crumbs of a hard life drained into a circle of holes that carry away carings, to places where their squeaking can’t be heard her hands, pillows for a head so sorrow-weighty, her body, her hips, a bed upon to rest, and he wonders, how did he exist before she become his nest, her hair of grass, now, a coverlet for twigs and strings, when then he laid his body down for disturbed sleep her milk is him, a restorative that refreshes his content, how did, once upon a time, he let existence subtract his time on earth without any relativity, time unrecognizable, he was in no one place, pathless, subsidizing nothing, unable to distinguish tween the straight and the curved her milk in him, whitens his soul, she calls out, “*you are my shepherd, my king, my David, my white marble sculpture of our current existence, when you drink the white of me, it is I who is fulfilled, when you write of me, your milk is me*”

her milk is him (your are my shepherd, my king, my David)
Her cunning eyes he spied, slyly write the usual evaluation note any guy is familiar: "His eyes are right there where the difference lies grazing my curves as if it is all his; on the edge he is, I am sure his eyes are heavily laden with lust".His eyes, are they any less? "She has decided in an instance to extract a big price, need to conceal well emotions like an unfinished sculpture, till the exact time to unveil" he gets his report, immediately acts, her face falls with a thud.
