"reunify" poems
In the year 3131
They come to devour our suns
Terrible, godlike, interstellar giants
Inconceivable beyond all reason and science.
Humanity and all her colonies,
Divided amongst the galaxies,
Finally united once and for all
For our race dare not fall!
To eliminate the threat of annihilation
We constructed planet-sized stations
That house massive and powerful guns
To protect and defend our vulnerable suns.
As our fears vanished behind us
Those in control sought to rebind us
For systems of authority never change,
Not even with pervasive freedom in range.
With the powerful distracted by their lust,
For control over every speck of dust,
There emerged a demented cult
That believes our race is at fault,
And beings that come from above
Do so out of divine, parental love.
These naive and delusional zealots,
Inspired by avarice long embellished,
By a ruthless society lacking empathy,
Have developed an ever enduring apathy.
Seeking to destroy our only defenses,
They mount violent and ****** offensives,
Their rugged, disorderly fleets crucify
As humanity is unable to reunify.
However, there is another cooperative effort,
A last stand, self-organized endeavor,
This vigilante group battles cultist detestables
They call themselves The Solar Sentinels.
Bound by a principled, passionate collaboration,
The Solar Sentinels defend all people and nations,
Engineers and military minds come together
To ensure our survival and prosper, whatsoever.
Now, one existential question remains:
Will humanity break free of its chains,
Awaken, realize that we are all one,
Disregard old orders and save our suns?

The moon and the stars combined as one
To reveal the beauty of the sky
While the sun stayed hidden from the darkened night
Only to soon reunify
A glimpse of hope shone in her eyes
While standing all alone
She was lost, and now was found
The Earth was her home
She had dreamt about the good old days
When there were people in her life
To wake up and only realize
It would all end with a knife
Depression always took over her
She’d fall right in its traps
But stars shine the brightest
When they’re starting to collapse

you see I'm a Pisces
and so pieces of me are
lost at sea.
bobbing in the oceans glee,
swimming with halves of
other Pisces. trying to balance things out.
made with the end of the other
in the mouth.
designed to serve
and move like water.
you see I'm a Pisces
and so parts of me are in you.
naturally, its the last Zodiac,
the finale before, reborn again.
Pieces of me sense the end is near,
the end of the separation, the twin
is to return.
she is to swim upstream and reunify
with other pieces of me, and
reassure me
I am ONE.
pieces of you infect my mind
replay constant stories, mostly lies.
the truths are overly
inspiring, and so I thrive.
I miss you.
I wade in the shallow end.
I know you are preparing for me… and so I wait.
I wait while I move, stillness
only during contemplation.
positive movement is my
dedication, my natural flow.
though my muscles tire too.
especially Pieces of me that
take upstream home,
slow and steady, they moan.
never too impressed by the journey
alone.
tunnel vision, only thinking of her own
time in the currents, just missing
the cycle of things.
yet only able to allow the cycle of things
to take their course,
as they naturally do.
and so pieces of me will wait for you.

come drip with me
drip in me
fill my senses
with fluidity
liquify my mind
flood my memories
reunify, end your trip down stream.
drip with me, into
each possibility
roar with me
encompass all barriers
along the road
fall into
the falls with me
s o a r i n g
through the bends to the end
of that trickle.
be me its all I have to offer
as I desire to be you.
I know the truth
you do too
the chemicals make visibility cloudy
and then we start to consider
is stream or steam
better?
and then we slow freeze
and develop a rigidity
and miss the abyss of the hairline split in time
we were destined to kiss.
we miss the lessons of our Mother
so we must start at the heart.
clear your heart for me
let me top off your energy
with the love I feel pulsating
through my crown. shower
You down to me.
reorganize beliefs
move like water

Today I was the river
I felt my soul melt in the water
I became the water
I am the water
I felt my being-ness dissolve
Into complete oneness
“I” disappeared
Felt my spirit
Reunify with the truth of who it was
Which is everything
I was the river
I saw as the river sees
I held silence and observed
A quiet place within me
Where time does not exist
A peace so deep that
It melted me.

white bird
the book the pages the present
a flutter listened for centuries
expressed language
flew with gravity
white bird
contemplated the minds of imagination meticulously
leeway for a stir of wings
between dull lives
white bird
season after season it entered
gracious ways of new government
to consult the fortune teller
this very day
small noise
people upon the globe
disharmony to describe the contradiction

“Ambrosial Aqueous”
A lonely waterway where the waves await,
You reunify the lives of the seas conflagration,
Everything pulls away from me here in the cusp.
My somber heart seeks you always I love your anatomy,
Cavorting flames of desire that climbs to my heart,
Caliginous sweet aphid fervent as the glowing sun,
Your agile heart and soul draws me to you,
Oh those celestial given lips of a somber smile,
With your happy body and your luminous eyes,
Earthly passionate vapors of silence appear amid,
As the silence of the World befalls upon us,
You hold out your beautiful arms before me,
I now have no choice as my ensuing fervor ascendancy,
As the crapulence of waves my arms embrace her,
The cruor of my body waken in vigilance morass,
Our fervor ends like waves have risen to the empyrean,
Succumbed to a flowery scented ambrosial aqueous”

Picnics, parties, marches, laughter,
Potato salad, apple pie…
Friends and families united
And fireworks lit up the nighttime sky.
Some, however, couldn't partake--
Some with horrific stories to tell,
Who, if they could see the fireworks,
Had to watch them from a cell.
Parents separated from children
Here seeking refuge learned
How the rules of immigration
Can be so quickly overturned.
Some are forced to be deported
To Mexico and beyond--
Forced to leave their kids behind,
Denied due process, denied even bond.
The president and his admin team--
These our heroes! These our champs!--
Propose a plan to reunify
Families in internment camps!
Refuge seekers torn apart
Learned not in a pretty way
How people in America
Honor Independence Day.
If Lady Liberty were able,
She’d lay down her tablet and flame
And raise up her hands in order
To hide her tearful face in shame.
