"rangoli" poems
✨
*Let’s beautify our yards and homes
With the vibrant colours of Rangoli
And welcome the Goddess Laxmi
Let’s decorate our doors and windows with festoons of marigold flowers and mango leaves,
to ward off the evil and sprinkle positivity
Let’s brighten the evening sky
With sky lamps and fairy lights
May the earthen lamps be lit
To illuminate every corner bright
Let’s celebrate
The Festival of Lights,
Diwali
With friends and family
And bring cheer to our lives*

AALI DIWALI
Excitement already there is in the atmosphere, our very air!!!
Goodies, gifts, flowers, lights we wish to, with dear ones, now share.
As citizens good, let's also exhibit some environment friendly care.
Banish Chinese items, I will, because I care for my India n also dare !
Use let us earthen Diyas, decorated in hand; Beautiful ones, beyond compare !
Candles Beautiful can be made or bought n decorated in a bright way.
Colourful Rangoli let us make with organic compounds, indigenous n rare.
Designs, with colours innumerous, one can create if one has a flair.
Same way, why pay so much to buy torn jeans, buy let's a decent traditional pair.
Traditional dresses so colourful are and look pretty n (no wrong meaning) gay.
Pizza, pasta, pastries boycott; try laddu, chakri or Khaja jo mawa se hei bhare.
Instead of flowers, gift Bamboo or money plants or other saplings; what say ?
Gift let us, things made in India. From China, let's willingly sway away !
"Aali Diwali" but create let us noise n smoke less. we must on this, an emphasis lay.
Innovative one can be, using imagination vivid to cute gifts make; n less amounts pay.
No WA, try and visit Grandparents, Mama, Kaka, Aatya, Maushi, is all I have to say !!!
HAPPY WALI DIWALI.

My Village
By – Amulya Kumar Malik
My Village a small little village
Near a hill and rice field & river
Big mango Trees small Cottages
I love it ever .
On the beneath of mango trees
The sequel plays hide and sick .
Behind the black cloud with dates Trees
The moon play hide and sick
My village is always full of flower
I love my village for ever & ever .
My Cottage of rice sheet ,
It has a small hole , I saw moon & son
My small cottage give cold in summer and hit in winter
I Love my village forever .
In small pond we catch fish
The horizon of rice field
Butterfly kiss to merry gold
Playing in winter cold ,
The snow white sheet covered bed sheet cover
I love my village forever .
Evening the lovely rangoli
Strange smell from ***** godhuli
I proud because I born in village
As sun of farmer I
love my village forever .

Choti woh chidiya albeli
Pyaari si aur badi niraali
Nazhukh si pali , kuch dil ki bholi
Uskey par jaise rangoli.
Chote chote they uskey sapne
Jinhe wo sanwaare aankhon mein apne
Chaahe ki liye pankh bade woh
Bas udjaaye neele Gagan mein
Aakhir mein jab waqt wo aaya
Lekar pankh ko udjaane ka
Aansu lekar baabul se boli
Ye na mujhse ho paayega
Baabul ne uski narm si aankhe
Dekh ke usko ye poocha sawaal
Beti , tu kyu apne app ko rokey?
Kyu udhney key nahi khayaal?
Sunkar apni baabul ki boli
Dheere se chidiya ab doli
Tab lagta tha jo ek sapna
Aaj wo ** gaya hai choor.
Kya mere do pankh ye chote
Udh paayenge uthnee door?
Itna bhi mat karna guroor
Na Karo mere dil ko majboor
Rehne do mujhe tumhare paas
Phir na rakhungi mein koyi bhi aas.
Baabul ne chidiya ko sehlaaya
Usey apne dil se laggaya.
Jo sapno se tuney man ko behlaaya
Usko paane ka waqt hai aaya.
Chota mat kabhi kudhko samajhna
Bas yuhi pankh lekar udhjaana.
Udhna hi hai tera naseeb
Rakhna hamesha usey dil ke khareeb .
Aasman dekhe raah tumhara
Likhdo uspar naam tumhara .
Phir Chidiya ne lee aisee udaan
Bharliya aanchal mein aasman ke rang
Baabul ne dee usey bidaayi
Bhar aayi aankhein, raha gaya wo dang.

#*It’s October
And, you are still here
You can’t always love
What you love
Pack your clouds, retreat
There is a time and place
You have rained, pretty
And showed us the rainbow too
Let winter take over
I so love her too
It’s beautiful and has lovely grace
Soon, we are to welcome Diwali
Light up the diyas and wear festive dress
Decorate the yards with colourful rangoli
We need pleasant weather and light breeze
Rain rain go away
Please, pack your clouds, retreat
There is a time and place
You have over stayed
See you again, next year*#
