Love is patient Love is gentle and kind True Love is never near-sighted or blind It never boasts It never brags It doesn't matter If your in riches or rags Love is not rude It does not say, "Me!, Me!, Me!" When two become one its, "We!, We!, We!" Love is not easily angered It keeps no records of ugly words & wrongs It only cries out, "How Can We Make It Strong!" It does not dance with darkness But serenades the light To grow stronger is its only appetite Love always protects Always hopes and trust True Love, will never rot or rust It always perseveres Through life's storms of thorns & nails Because, True Love Never Fails. Love Never Fails
4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. 8 Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it  will pass away. ~ 1 Corinthians 13:4-8

Kindness is not nice. ‘Nice’ is soft and inoffensive ‘Nice’ is careful and non-assertive ‘Nice’ is easy and effects no change she’s cotton wool trying to soften the pain but not stuffed tight, just resting on the surface ready to be blown away or pressed under a muddy boot of disinterest ‘Nice’ is a damp whisper a mouse cowering in the corner hoping you will blink and miss her lest she attract your notice lest she presume too much and cause a whisker of offence Kindness is not like that – Kindness pushes in, quick and nimble a hero with no mask, unasked unexpected, dodging the turmoil leaving nothing unsaid and little undone in her pursuit of creating a counter-disruption Kindness defies convention Kindness carefully aims her weapons of choice and advances relentless and regardless of any and all obstacles in her way Kindness perseveres all the love-long day Kindness doesn’t delay Kindness is gleeful for the chance of invasion ready to disarm with expert compassion with her regiments of patience armed to the teeth with gracious placing tanks of good faith on all fronts Kindness confronts Courage is her currency, boldness her language, trust and hope are her passports to lands long unexplored happily wearing all-weather clothing for any and all unexpected storms Kindness transforms Kindness weakens all defenses and challenges all camouflaged pretenses Kindness pours itself out to fill unhealed wounds and on shrapnel-seeded battlefields she - blooms Kindness is not 'nice' Kindness isn’t in this for the likes Kindness bites She’s a take-on-all-comers, undefeated delight Kindness never bails from the fight never fails, never takes flight Kindness is nothing casual, nothing incidental This Kindness is elemental She is Avengers-Assemble, End-Game-level monumental Kindness is not 'nice'. Kindness is loving awe-ful.

Refuge from reality Neverland's necessity Chasing the whims of Shadow Crowing at the moon's sad glow Freedom from monotony A childhood philosophy Perseveres in light of fears Long adheres in spite of years Flee the world of decision Distance mistake's incision A brash heart's circumcision Nulls care of peer's derision. Neverland
She's not just a girl. No, one cannot simply call her a girl. She's a storm, a storm with skin, bound by passion and dreams. She's a temptation, her body a fire, My senses a helpless moth. She's a maestro, her laugh being the sweetest symphony of all. She's a lioness, the way she perseveres, fights, and defends. She's a diamond, brilliant and rare, to be cherished and protected. She's a mile, but only if beauty was an inch.

We all know that life can thrive in the most inhospitable of places.                                              Plants grow from volcanic soil.                                              Bioluminescence crawls beneath                                                immense pressure on the ocean floor.                                              Microbes most likely thrive below the icy,                                                         radioactive surface of Europa. We all know that life—love—perseveres.                                                                             It’s nothing new. But we don’t talk about                                             how ******* hard that actually is.   That’s what the strengths perspective is for.   What resilience gives name to.   But what if I don't want to?  What if,                                                                   for today,                                                                                      I’d rather the **** not?   Is that okay?                           Is that allowed?   That today I'm the vinca vine dying on the ledge?   Withered up and not drinking any more water.   Today, I am every succulent that I’ve ever accidentally killed.   Today, I am excess formaldehyde.  I am a brain floating in a bell jar,                         undulating in an existence that is an ethical quagmire. Today, I am in limbo.  Purgatory.  Stasis and static.   Suspended upside down in a frozen wasteland, Dante style.   Tomorrow, I will thaw.                                   Rise from the soil fist first.

Trampled, yanked from their roots, strewn across the dirt; A single, beautiful rose lay, treated as lowly as the soil beneath, Loses sight of its true worth and perfection, Amongst the several other damaged "objects". Used and abused in manners undeserved, yet she still perseveres. Replanted, freshened, and dusted off, she stands ***** Portraying beauty and elegance, others do not see the damage; Yet it is visible to me, as clear as day are the harsh conditions endured. And so is her strength, to bear another day. And so is her worth, deserving of more than the world can offer, Or that I can muster; I'll try my hardest to give her everything.

A Damaged Beauty
I believe in love. Love has the power to heal and create. There’s hopeless love, family love, friend love, and love for everyone, especially those with four furry feet. My family has taught me the beginning of how to love. Even deeper, my grandparent’s have shown me complete unconditional and raw love. From sickness and health, to rich and poor, they’ve been glued together for 38 years now. The pets I’ve owned taught me love isn’t just restricted to humans. Often, animals stick around longer to comfort and love than friends do. However, friends and lovers teach a whole new level of love. I’ve realized that love can be just temporary. Being the hopeless romantic I am, I search for love everywhere and find love in every dusty corner. I’ve seen that sometimes you’re only meant to love someone for a limited amount of time until you feel the need to move on to someone else and fill their life with the power of it. Friends, family, lovers, pets, they all come and go, but love is forever. I believe in love because I’ve been hurt. I’m happy to lose by caring more for someone as long as it means i get the chance to show them what it’s like to be loved by fire. I’m not afraid to feel. Love isn’t just one feeling to me, it comes in many different feelings. It’s in all feelings. Without hate there’d be no love and vice versa. Love creates beauty, love creates hate, love creates people, love lets the world go around. When we learn to love, we learn how to make things better. Three years ago my Uncle was killed unexpectedly in an accident and that loss of love in my family has completely changed the way we loved since. We learned how to love each other stronger, how to love ourselves more, and most importantly how to love life. Our family bond is unbreakable now. The devastating loss and going through the grief and learning more about love has made me more of myself than anything in the world ever could. Love comes to us in many different ways. Love is action, love is emotion, love is expressed. Love is free and binds us all. Without love, we wouldn’t be people. It’s what defines us. You can’t have anything without it. Not a career, not passion, nothing, because nothing would matter without love. There is absolutely nothing you can’t love. Flowers, food, kids, sleeping, puzzles, it’s okay to love it all and all is deservant of love. “Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Part I The fragile, forgotten arctic perseveres; the white snowy tundra wrapped in a blanket of darkness. The buried threads of memory under hardened, ice plastered arctic waters. Why always to be submerged? Can you feel the freezing? As if only icebergs can gather the brine of the ocean to itself and never let go. What does not return fungal and muddy in more corporeal climes travels toward the poles. Is there an alternative to ice bound quiescence? As if what has passed to the extremities of mind is not forever lost. And so I follow the leads, swimming in the cracks of what forgetting has not claimed. Will even these channels soon freeze over? As life travels northward intent on testing the conditions of existence. Part II Under an icy sheet of polar sky; fissures of light weeping through an immovable, immeasurable surface. The strongest force in the universe embeds the foundation of our undulating, fractured lives. Does that which holds us together also keep us apart? As light is held in tension between being and becoming, revealing and altering. Our wavering hearts like solitary planets seek orbit around a suitable center. Do we choose the star which gives light to our days? As our gravity reels, heedlessly casting for moons or meteors in passage. And so the hushed wall spreads a river of blazing reds and somber greens. Do the gaps in our comprehension expand imagination or despair? As memory embeds each frozen expanse, touching where the horizon unfolds.

In Rājagaha the Well-Farer lectured On wisdom, concentration, morality… The monks listened, devoutly, calmly, To the message replete with practicality. On to Ambaliṭṭikā they journeyed, To Nālandā and Pāṭaligāma as well. The Buddha continued to spread the Dhamma-- Or teachings--at which he was known to excel. After passing over the Ganges, To Koṭigāma they made their way. The Buddha repeated the Four Noble Truths That still guide many people today. At Nādikā the Teacher referred to the Mirror Of Dhamma and said to always begin By looking first at yourself to discover The truth that lies deep within. On to Vesālī the ascetics wandered, Where their Master continued to share The power and value of mindful living-- The importance of being clearly aware. During the rains the Awakened One rested In Beluva, where he postponed his trek. While staying there he grew ill, but he knew It was NOT his time, so it kept it in check. "Live as islands," he said to Ānanda, "With truth as a refuge. And grasp not, for I Have always told you that all things dear to us-- Whatever is born--eventually will die." After the rains, the group traveled To the Great Forest--to the Gabled Hall, And the Buddha repeated the Eightfold Path-- A message of wisdom pertaining to all. Bhoganagara was their next stop, And then to Pāvā the wayfarers did go. Their host, Cunda, served "pig's delight." The Buddha grew ill. Why? We don't know. Despite his illness, he continued To Kusinārā and lay down to rest. Music sounded and flowers fell From the sky to honor the One-Who-Is-Blessed. "The Dhamma will now be your teacher. Strive on untiringly. My time has passed." After entering deep concentration The Great One died. Those words were his last. Thunder sounded and the ground shook-- As it does when any great teacher "goes to sleep." The Buddha is Dhamma; the Dhamma is the Buddha. Because of that there's no reason to weep. The compassionate Buddha's Teachings have spread For over two thousand five hundred years. His Message of living in wisdom and compassion And loving mindfulness perseveres. - by Bob B

Memories float around my head, as I lie awake wishing for sleep. Thoughts of love gained and lost, visions of past lovers calling out my name. Friendships lasting through it all, unchanged by jealous girls and silly boys. An inner child begging to be released, to fly high on the lonely old swing set. All the while praying for a visit from the all too elusive Sandman. Insomnia perseveres and fights through the fog of memories. The most charming of dreams contend for control of my consciousness. Dreams of grassy fields and summer days attempt to whisk me away to a special place. Fears of success, life and love pull me in a differing direction. The tug of war is tiring and lasts for an eternity, but the dreams come out victorious. Tranquility calmly washes over me and my eyes softly shut. Thoughts and memories fade away, as I soundlessly drift to sleep.

Waves of Tranquility
Strong Is a word used to describe the capacity in which we are able to carry amounts of weight Strong Is what we call body builders, muscley men and women who we look at and say "wow they're strong" just by looking at their shape Strong In the dictionary is described as "having the power to move heavy weights and perform other physically demanding tasks" Strong Means something different to me and when someone turns to me and asks What does strength mean to you? I respond with, Strong Is the woman that carries a child inside her for 9 months and perseveres Strong Is the person who has to force themselves to carry on after they lose someone dear Strong Is putting both of those things side by side and losing the woman that raised you Strong Is knowing she will never be there to face you Strong Is carrying on after having the most important person to you snatched right from your fingertips Strong Is trying to move forward knowing that your stomach will churn every time the word “Mum” comes to your lips Strong Is a word they tell me I am but why doesn't it feel that way? Strong Is a strength I hope to feel one day.

Through the motions sickness, In hope for brighter days beneath the rain. we've all been dealt pain, but no matter how unfair take what you're handed and let love forever be your mantra. (c) 10-13-2014 The text message went like this: “*Was thinking... I'm so happy I’m married to you.*” Said she. “*You my Dear made me what I am today.   Thank you. I am one happy guy.*” Said he. It resides on the phone as evidence Of our life for forty seven years. It has been on my mind abundantly Of our love through the good times and tears. We have held each other together When our pieces began falling apart. You have been my rock My Dear From the moment we did start. Cannot tell you enough My Dear I am so grateful you are mine. And I am yours forever My Dear I will never, never, ever whine. It has been said before: ***Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. ***

Our Message
Is it true that the Bard spirit Never Dies yes, yes, yes, Lord yes! The Bard cries other people's tears. The Bard wears other people's fears. The Bard gives abundant cheers.  The bard masters the Lyre and plays the music of the Spheres.  The Bard writes heavenly and perseveres knowing when they die they're soul reappears.

The bard
Is it too much to save a person And continually be enough forever? Irregular shapes and acute angles round out the world; These forms of trash and literature are constantly changing. An original birth of earth perseveres and colors over disaster. Satisfaction is mythical, But from an oyster emerges a pearl.

Evolution
In the fellowship of believers I lift my voice; in the fellowship of believers I make my praises loud; in the fellowship of believers Your marvelous name is proclaimed. Rejoice! Let every nation, let every tribe, let all creation, gather as one in harmony. What power there is in unity! Unity under the Holy One; unity under the Lord our God. When we come together, He is there! Evil has no power for His goodness triumphs! Our God is undefeatable, our God stands unshakable; He remains, He endures, He withstands the test of time. He always persists, always perseveres, always prevails. I fear not for the world will not conquer me; I fear not for the world has no power over my life. The Lord shall keep my feet steady on His path! He keeps me steady as I walk in His ways; He keeps me steady for all of my days; therefore, He is worthy of all praise! The righteous rejoice in the Lord, but the wicked do no such thing; The righteous experience true freedom, but the wicked remain slaves to their sin. Rejoice! Let every nation, let every tribe, let all creation, gather as one in harmony. Again I say Rejoice! Lift up your voice and make your praises loud; proclaim the marvelous name of the Lord; so all may know and be saved.

Psalm (rejoice)
If I speak in the tongues of men or of angels, but do not have love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and give over my body to hardship that I may boast, but do not have love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when completeness comes, what is in part disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me. For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13
Childhood dreams Were shattered long ago. New dreams were distilled From tears and fears. Bitter dreams withered By reality. But dreams nonetheless. They fall away like November leaves. Drawing strength From love. From work. From life’s purpose. She perseveres. A struggle on a slender Precipice Never looking down. Acceptance is a clever Way to deal with pain. Clutch it to your breast, Make it yours. Devour it. Spit it out. She has had her fill Of acceptance. Tomorrow perhaps Devoid of dreams Will sustain her And take her to A place of peace. Where she is loved And loves herself.

Forgotten Dreams
As a man, I contemplate my thoughts just beyond the boundary of breaking waves on the shore. An endless symmetry stands before me. The ocean with its crash and calm takes any and all forms. Yet though it morphs its shape, its nature always remains. To be life and to contemplate life. A mere thought that has enchained the minds of greater men. In the grand symphony of time, we find ourselves in the 21st Century. Where there are those who postulate the Theory of Illusion. Each of our own odysseys reduced to the hallucinatory will of my brain. Tell me then, how does one illusion contemplate its own existence from within? My gaze refocuses out to the endless blue horizon, and I imagine the shape of it all. Though we take many forms, our nature prevails. Social animals some would say. I prefer a different metaphor, shepherds of knowledge. Though our collective knowledge flaunts many costumes, our true nature perseveres unfettered. Through the ages we carry all human ingenuity, meanings, and purpose inside some unspoken tome. It does not erode against the battering winds of time. It can not be sunken to the depths. It endures in this very contemplation. My wandering inquisitive mind cannot help but wonder what abstract thought will be captured in this very spot a thousand years from now. For some this conjures a mysterious existential dread, but I can only stand and smile. My mind lets me step outside the binding flow of time and watch the world unfold. Campfires under the crescent moon to villages etched out on verdant ground, and here now to the grand gusto of modern cities. Endless forms and shapes pushing towards our ultimate nature. To understand that purpose in the universe if left by our boot impressions on the mud. The cosmos is our endless ocean. Out there; waiting, for our contemplative minds to shape it.

Love is not nice. ‘Nice’ is soft and inoffensive ‘Nice’ is careful and non-assertive ‘Nice’ is easy and effects no change Nice is cotton wool trying to soften the pain but not stuffed tight, just resting on the surface ready to be blown away or pressed under a muddy boot of disinterest ‘Nice’ is a damp whisper a mouse cowering in the corner hoping you will blink and miss it lest it attract your notice lest it presume too much and cause a whisker of offence Love is not like that – Love pushes in, quick and nimble a hero with no mask, unasked unexpected, dodging the turmoil leaving nothing unsaid and little undone in her pursuit of creating a counter-disruption Love defies convention Love carefully aims her weapons of choice and advances relentless and regardless of any and all obstacles in her way Love perseveres all the love-long day Love doesn’t delay Love is gleeful for the chance of invasion ready to disarm with expert compassion with her regiments of patience armed to the teeth with gracious placing tanks of good faith on all fronts Love confronts Courage is her currency, kindness her language trust and hope are her passports to lands long unexplored happily wearing all-weather clothing for any and all unexpected storms Love transforms Love weakens all defenses and challenges all camouflaged pretenses Love pours itself out to fill unhealed wounds and on shrapnel-seeded battlefields she - blooms Love perfumes Love is not 'nice' Love isn’t in this for the likes Love bites She’s a take-on-all-comers, undefeated delight Love never bails from the fight never fails, never takes flight Love is nothing casual, nothing incidental Love is elemental She is Avengers-Assemble, End-Game-level monumental So, don’t be nice and I’ll say it twice nice is a vice that will never suffice And let me end by being more precise follow Christ’s advice: love one another every day and every night with all of your might and do it in a way that pushes way past ‘nice’.
