"perigee" poems
There is always a story in thee,
Thy face is a beautiful tragedy
Thy ring of light that whispers mystery
Tonight thy enchantress, a perigee.

Super Moon!
Oh, Super Moon!
Why have you forsaken my paralysis?
Why have you come from beneath Cloud Mountain only to breach my inhibition?
So that I may melt into the grass?
So that I may be the leach of this girl?
So that I may repair the ill tidings I shat out a fortnight ago?
People say a full moon makes us
Crazy. Because seventy percent of
Our brain is composed of water we
Convulse into a Jack the Ripper of
Sorts. I’ll tell you I’d rather be a
William McCarty Jr., sly as a cat I
Could escape this prison without a
Word to anyone. Then you can make
Your bones into Tally Sticks so that
You might keep track of the days
Until I’ve slain my last.

Breaking clouds, illuminated arrival
a halo surrounds the oldest soul
in orbit through this midnight world
lonely shadow, scattered sky
blessed light to shuttered eyes

your body is poetry in a language
I have always wanted to become fluent
dripping in platinum, your lips steel-boned
I hear a quartet commanding me
agave forms in your sulci and pours out
with every breath of your exhale
there's a constellation in your pupils
you are the very moon itself and I am earth
in perigee, my tides rise to greet you
every strand between us twists and weaves
unbroken helixes that connect but never touch
you shine and I can't pull my eyes away
from the contours of your cupid's bow
you move in slow motion towards me

Could I pluck this nights moon from the sky,
I'd tether it to the center of my eye.
That you might see your light reflected back,
If only once, before we die.

I'll meet you at the perigee
Where the moon meets the earth
Infinite, that moment will be
Priceless, in its worth

Moon phases agree,
apogee to perigee,
precept time and seas.

The deep oceans in your eyes
Rise and fall up and down my body
Like the rippling tide growing stronger
With the pull of the moon
You Draw me into your orbit
You begin Circling me and I begin circling you
And after a while I can't tell the difference
As we start to blur In this space
Your breath invites me in
Enticing evergreen matching your eyes
My skin begins to melt
Into a warm pool that floats above
And surrounds us with a blanketing tug
A fire is ignited and begins to burn through my ribcage
Trickling down my back and circling my thighs
In blue blue light
traces of your bite form a wet path
Tracing the soft spot above my collarbone
Slowly creating friction In my atmosphere
You graze my lips and a shock sends vibrations down my spine
I dive into your glistening skin
Drinking the oozing passion from your fingertips
As they run along my slippery skin
And I interlace my body with yours
We begin to sway with each wave
Sinking below the surface of consciousness
Into a deep fluid dance
A pattern of Seduction and expression ****** with the thrashing tide
Reddish-Amber colored energy dances around our interwoven souls
As we Climb through levels of sweet bliss riding atop the white caps
I sink further into an abyss of ecstasy
As the rhythm of life ascends
Sending ripples of euphoria into each cell of my being
Rocking me into a trance
A beam of light bursts between us
I see stars as I'm starved of air
Paralyzed with rapture
Exhaling all my energy as I float into the sky
The heavens cradle us in their arms
We drink from the mouth of the gods a peaceful elixir white as poppy milk
And I float back into you once more
And find you gazing at me
With a cool blue smile
As we float on this slow tide

In a far off view of the horizon, where the sun decided to bathe itself in the ocean, he sat and clinched his six-year-old guitar under the euphoric pink-orange color of the sky.
He looked up and saw birds kissing in a single tree,
Loved the shore and the waves and its brusquerie,
Laid down and smiled and felt free,
Closed eyes and travelled at the perigee.
Oh how thoughts dribbled unto his brain,
Oh how he could write a lonesome song and sing,
Moments of joy and laughter in the rain,
Same place, same memories, and same name,
Will she ever come back to him again?

Clear sapphire night
Shock of lilac scent
Thick, mesmeric
Milk moon rose yestereve
Perigee, gigantic
And you returned today while
Almond petals browned
In gutter drifts
Elder blossom opened
Nodding stems, white disks
And you took my breath away
The lilac scent, the blue night
The flutter of the spring breeze
And the sunset skyline's dying light.

This night indeed was quiet.
You can only hear the wind,
The cloud that's been flowing,
With love that's been growing.
The night, it feels, amazing,
The sky is clear,
The stars are near,
The moon, luna, she's here.
It felt like, a couple,
Longing for each other,
From being separated,
With no connection, they still have waited.
What an astonishing sight,
When luna meets its perigee,
Reuniting with earth,
Until they kissed, in this lovely night.
This sight, on this quiet night,
It amaze us, every bit of our life.
Like luna, she always love earth,
While earth, it always longs for luna.
