"organize" poems
She who did not come, wasn't she determined nonetheless to organize and decorate my heart? If we had to exist to become the one we love, what would the heart have to create? Lovely joy left blank, perhaps you are the center of all my labors and my loves. If I've wept for you so much, it's because I preferred you among so many outlined joys.

TO PUT the art and talent of Mindanaoan fashion design into the spotlight, Kagay’anon fashion designers put their hands together to organize the 5th Mindanao Fashion Summit at the Limketkai Center Rotunda from August 4 to 6, every 4 p.m. “Being a core event of the Higalaay festival, the opening salvo, the Mindanao Fashion Summit can really highlight fashion designers here in Cagayan de Oro and also in different points of Mindanao to let everyone see what they can do in the world of fashion design especially now that there are only so few opportunities for these designers to show off their works to the public. This is why we have the Mindanao fashion Summit because Kagay-anon designers believe that even if they join national fashion shows like the Philippine Fashion week, most of them still aren't getting the right encouragement as a fashion designer.” said Robbie Pamisa, the overall organizer of the event. The Fashion Summit is a three-day event composed of seven sub-categories such as the Mindanaoan collection, the Menswear collection, and the Ororama orange collection for the first day, the Guest Designers’ collection, the Fashion Institute of the Philippines collection and the Loop Lifestyle Fashion Show for the second day, and the Holiday Grand collection for the third day which will serve as the culmination of the fashion event. Mindanaoan Fashion designers from Cagayan de Oro as well as Davao, Butuan, Iligan, and Bukidnon have come to showcase their talents. Some of the fashion geniuses of the event include Alma Mae Roa, Angela Soriano, Ann Semblante, Benjie Manuel, Boogie Musni Rivera, Gil Macaibay III, John Mark Magellan’s, Joshua Guibone, Juniel Doring, Kiko Domo, Mark Christopher Yaranon, and Mavy Cooper de Leon. One of the highlights of the event is the Oro Fashion Designers’ Guild and the Designers Assembly featuring a collection of clothes using Mindanao material such as the Mindanao silk. Sponsors such as Ororama and The Loop Towers will also be showcasing their products in the fashion event. “Even student fashion designers from the Fashion Institute of the Philippines have been encouraged to participate so that they will be able to experience how a fashion show works. This is also a way for us to fulfill our mission to be another avenue for fashion designers to show what they have,” Paisa said.Read more at:http://www.marieaustralia.com/short-formal-dresses | www.marieaustralia.com/long-formal-dresses

a dark place, dingy and cobwebbed: the forlorn basement below an unfinished house; there is no hope of an HGTV house-flip or a makeover or the sort of boring/heartwarming story where some nice white family —or conveniently diverse— sets up shop, smash-cuts through a renovation and gets their dream home. no, the house will remain gloomy, this basement filled with emptiness; no one desires to come through the door, no one except the tweakers and the vagabonds and the runaways, the ****** and the pimps, the celebrities and psychiatrists, the demons and the ghosts, the preachers and their seething congregations of judgmental ****** that live across the street, and the ***** teenagers hunting for a place to try out *** no cleaning crew or maid service or organize-your-life guru or even the most experienced of all the world’s janitors could enter this house and clean it or beautify this basement or disenfranchise the squatters within; the neighbors just try and demolish it every chance they get, to rid their sparkling, spotless community of this disgusting eyesore.

‘Hemphu’ and ‘Mukrang’ Created this world! We were born under the ‘Amora tree’ from the egg of ‘Wo Plak Pi’. Then ‘Sum’ and ‘Sang’ trained us, Edify us ‘karjong is everywhere’ It is there in air, soil, water, plant, animal..... Every where! So we must have admiration for them, Must nurture and protect them! Hearting ‘Krjong’ is a crime! Now everywhere There is a Chaos! Rain fades away Forest disappears ‘Ingnar’ and ‘Bongkrui’ar are suffering from starvation! Searching food here and there! Now everywhere There is a bedlam! ‘Hanthu’ and ‘Mehek’ are wane Searching them in day and night! How we prepare food for ‘Thong Nokbe’! Now ‘Hi-i-Arnam’ is wandering Everywhere! Call everybody Organize ‘Cho-jun’ to Keep karjong everywhere! Call one and all organize ‘Rong Arnam’ To shield karjong everywhere! Call everyone organize ‘Wophong Rongker’ To protect ‘karjong’ everywhere!

Perhaps, We have a worldview, that has turned a bit myopic. Perhaps, We need a checkup from a doctor for Our optics, Perhaps, We need for them to write Us out a new prescription, then Perhaps, We'd see the truth in life that's written in inscription, Perhaps, the Earth is weeping somberly, but We don't care to listen, Perhaps, it warns us of Our doom when global profits are our mission Perhaps, the World is run by men, whose only drive is for themselves Perhaps, the few will **** the many, just for monetary wealth, Perhaps, We're all too blind to understand the implications, Perhaps, a future fraught with poverty and war is what We're facing Perhaps, a different train of thought, is faintly running by adjacent, Perhaps, it's one that wrests its life from the stagnation of complacence Perhaps, We're living forms of life that have been cast inside a mold Perhaps, estrangement from each other causes Our Hearts to grow cold Perhaps, all concentrated power's an illusion, We behold, Perhaps, We all could take it back, if We'd stop doing what We're told Perhaps, Our Being is unique, and isn't something predefined, Perhaps, Our priorities in life should they themselves be redefined, Perhaps, Our voices are of import, and should not be undermined, Perhaps, We all should organize, and build a world of new design Perhaps, it is the Media that keeps Us all divided, Perhaps, We should act neighborly and strive to be united, Perhaps, in living as a People, We would find Ourselves delighted, and Perhaps, We'd change the status quo, if We would only try to fight it.

When the Stars Come Out to Play
There Is But One Law (The Dancer's Coda) There is but one set of laws, One that need be obeyed, One that brooks no heresy, One that gives no absolution. One that needs no priests, no canons, One that that refuses disobedience. We all bend knee at altar invisible, Though feasance never requested. The Laws of Physics. A body at rest, a body in motion. Laws immutable, unconditional, Equations, proofs, demonstrable, Inequalities inexcusable, banished. Dancer says: I am heretic, even these laws I refuse. My body denies limitations, My mind believes I will make do What it could not, but yesterday. Defiance from wire to wire is the Fuel in my veins, fear but a detail, Leaping from from ten meters more, My Declaration of Independence. My body plastic, my mind ethereal, Some mock, call it trickery, Some hail, call me hero. There are forces greater than mine, Forces irrevocable, mathematically superior. Each day my force grows as well, Visions imagined supersede the Tedium of definitions, of boundary lines. Bend the law, conquer the null, fill the void. Each day sketch, devise, organize a New rebellion, follow only one command, Honor but a single battle cry. Leap, then fall! That dancer, your only law, That heretic, thine only coda. Action is freedom. For you are dancer, Whisper as you leap: The Fifth Freedom I possess, The Freedom to Fall. May 17th, 2013

I wash the clothes and fold them too. I take the dishes and load them up. I look at closets and organize jackets. I do the chores mom usually does. Parents thank me and smile at my work. To them I'm getting better and working to be better. Little do they know that when I do housework my live is spiraling more and all I am doing is making things easier for when I am gone.

How Housework is my Telltale Sign
You sad fool. My dear, old friend How I find myself waiting for you again. Your eyes drive into mine, with brights on, and you leave palpable words hanging in the air with the writings by your teeth, without a mouth to open, just jaw clenched, no recognition of existence, And your hands are soldering irons cooled clenched until clashing into my air Touching time, and instantaneously heating space, as an element Reaching Avogadro's number, ten to twenty-third Holes appear between us. I remember when we used to laugh And mostly at each other, but not as we do now. There was no malice. One day maybe there will be solace. "You act as though I'm a nice guy" So it's true you like to objectify The object (oh, the irony) of your affection Which is anything that cares to mention How creative was your invention It was not my intention to Organize a fluidity to the scrutiny And the staged mutiny of what was a foundation. For it's not representative to your thumbprint. I feel no organization here. You have ordered chaos. Francisco, Bring up your lights. Just remember that you look best at night, when the moon is carved into the sky and your real intentions revealed. Where you sit upon that pale desk And wrap your knuckles against the floor, Stab with a quill the pools you leave behind, to write your ***** recollection, Just remember you look best when your tears catch this starlight. Francisco, bring up your ****** lights.

Wake up Wash up Cook Clean up Attend class Scribble notes Speak up And eat up Organize Sweep And mop Repeat as needed Oh, monotony You have found me With your best friend, Exhaustion You killed my will to live Imagination, all gone Muscle memory keeps me going Oxygen gives my heart a beat I may as well be dead My mind shuts off The noises all gone And good ol' monotony comes up to play.

Oh, monotony
When I look into the moon I see the only dependent part of me that still exists. Its as if the silence in her vocal cords spoke words of solitude. I gave her the only bio mechanical part of me that mattered. The gears in my chest keep turning like clock work. I count seconds into minutes and minutes into hours and hours into days. I keep thinking time is standing still while im still standing still. I'm waiting, waiting on patience and as unjustified as it sounds I'm impatient. Dreams are just your natural thoughts heavily sedated, a sub-conscious reality based off the feelings we cant display them. I don't consider myself a writer, I see the constant flow of words and as a kid it left me inspired. I'm more of the sub concious reality type. I drink coffee and outside of that I really don't have a life. For me writing is self exspression without being judged by others. I opinionate my feelings and organize them in ink. The papper is my empty canvas, my thoughts are my judgment, and the pen is the deliverer. Sometimes writing is the only thing that can stitch my wounds, like the words curved inside my brain penetrating like the needlesof a tattoo. I wonder what will become me, in what paradox will I redeem the sum of me? I just hope this bio mechanical heart ticks away. I hope people continue to be people with different mindsets and open steeples. I want love to be found and dreams to be created. Kalvin Moon

I apoligize for not reading your posts. I have been battling my depression and have not been online . I have written a poem about it (of course lol). I hope you enjoy and I hope to be online tomorrow. My Dark Tale (A Sestina) It is a lovely time of day for tea As I sit curled up to the song of rain Memories arise of a deep dark pain Storm clouds gather within my heart, darkly Dimly, I am aware of rainbow’s hope Wanting dreams infused with Rosemary and Thyme Out of work, I suffer from too much time Overeating and drinking too much tea Depression worsens, stealing all my hope And all my dreams shatter in the cold rain Leaving me empty in the bitter dark As I stare out of the broken windowpane How I long to conquer my bitter pain If only I would organize my time I know then, I would rise above the dark Instead, I get caught in cookies and tea And sink deeper; chaos supremely reigns I flounder once again, losing my hope I am tired of losing precious hope Letting despair and worthless bitter pain To take control and determinedly reign Structure! Will that allow me to use time Positively? Cutting back on black tea Getting needed sleep to fight back the dark Rested, I can push back the hated dark Strive to capture peace and beautiful hope Learning once again to enjoy my tea And not as a crutch that causes me pain While I mourn the loss of wasted sweet time Instead, I would see rainbows in the rain I yearn to topple depression’s long reign, To walk in the sun’s light, not the cold dark Eager to greet the day and enjoy time Pursue my dreams, infusing life with hope Do away with doldrums and bitter pain Relaxing and enjoying Earl Gray Tea Envoi To sum up, I yearn to enjoy my tea Overcome my darkness and pain; to feel hope While I take time to enjoy the sweet rain Kelly Rose © January 5, 2017

hill                                                  ant hill                                           an ant hill                                       a perfect ant hill                                  a perfect ant hill it was                                a perfect anthill erected                         a perfect ant hill erected at will            by ants and ants and army of disciplined ants.      ants of many kinds, sizes and colors erected an ant hill the design was grand, nice to look at like a cathedral, functional. we love the ants for being so versatile,co-operative and creative Do ants possess minds, ability to think, organize, put decisions in to actions?Or do they just have an instinct, prompted by nature, how do they receive it?Even if we are yet to find out such secrets, many of us are skeptics."All this is like the crawling leaches, inscribing  letters on smooth surfaces, inadvertently" they vehemently argue. And there remains the million dollar question, seeking answer:even tiny ants, could make millions of their ilk do amazing things, why oh! why, the most intelligent of living things, at least replicate the feats the community of ants, at a scale, proportionate ?If these disciplined insects, in spite of their small brains could be a great example, why can't human's be like them, behave more responsibly , take charge of their own destiny, construct, not destroy. Every ant hill in silence, asks us many questions,  we walk past pretending that we heard nothing, that could disturb our peace.

How is it this swirling, tumbling mist of atoms and particles; organize itself well enough to write poetry?

Mystery
Not as eloquent as a fountain pen, not as artistic as a sketching pencil, not even as bright as a magic marker, but one smart cookie to your kids. We have cool names like Cotton Candy, Manatee, Razzmatazz and Inchworm, and are non-toxic sticks of joy to those little imaginations. Yes, we sometimes look like clumps of colored wax smashed into tissue paper, and we do break easily or lose our wrappers at the drop of a hat, then get tossed in a bag or worse, become homeless. And horror of horrors! We’re reinvented as candles or reheated into twisted zombies of our former selves. And neither do our achievements reside in a museum or gallery, why they're not even framed and proudly displayed on a wall. No, they're slapped on ***** refrigerators and kept there by plastic alphabet magnets that loosely spell such mundane things as ‘milk’, ‘cheese’ or ‘daddy is dumb,' until they fall to the floor or end up in the trash. But hey man, give us a break! This is our plight, it’s a harsh existence! Perhaps we should organize, form a union for children’s writing and drawing utensils, and thus ensure equality for us crayons? We realize, more than likely, this poem's title will cause some backlash by those who insist it be called ‘Return of the Crayon,’ because we 'happy sticks', you see, supposedly don’t take revenge. Nonetheless, we stand by it. It is what it is! Your children love us and so should you!

Revenge of the Crayon
who would have thought i would become so obsessed with clean? not my mother, who’d nag me to pick up all the clothes scattered across my bedroom nearly every day of ninth grade. we rarely saw the floor. i’d sleep beneath books and laundry on my half-made bed. now i scrub dishes, scrub counters, scrub the floor at night because i can’t stand the thought of a ***** kitchen—little cockroaches scurrying in and out of pots and pans. my home smells of lavender oil, a soft mist, air cleansed by a pink-glowing himalayan salt lamp and plants in the living room. now i put things away in drawers, close doors of rooms that are the slightest bit messy. now i straighten books on the coffee table, set the remotes parallel to one another, everything must be in place. now i floss, wash my face every night, stare in the mirror and repeat i am clean, i am clean, i am clean. now i burn my skin in the shower, inhale the steam until my breathing is slow and my sinuses are clear. i am clean, i am clean, i am clean. now i fold the laundry, stack our clothes into two piles, his and mine. i make our bed, i organize our shoes by the door, i kiss the man i love goodnight. i am clean, i am clean, i am clean. i know what my father must think, i know he loses sleep, i know there are holes in his tongue where his teeth have made a home. i am clean, i am clean, i am clean. i know he wishes i still went to church, wishes my boyfriend believed in a god, wishes i was clean. i am clean, i am clean.

i am the frostbite spreading through the frozen fingers of your new lover's hands, transferred body heat burning the skin. i am 3 am drinks in the pouring rain, swerving onto oncoming traffic. i am the ship lost at sea of our love. i am a broken bathroom mirror. i am an unidentified purple bruise on the neck of your ex-lover. i am the fork in the toaster. i am an untuned guitar in a filthy venue. calloused hands against soft skin. slam the whiskey shot down on your neck. wash the blood off in the kitchen sink. broken blinds forcing unwanted sunlight into your nightmares. i am the definition of breakup *** i am the aftermath of self-hatred and one more go around. **** just for the fun of it, just to **** pretend you are making love. pretend this matters. i am late night emergency room visits for rope-burned necks. i am the car alarm blocking out your one night stand's profound moans. organize your bookshelf to spell out my name in the titles. every song on the radio will sound like goodbye. i am the perfect time for a first kiss. swollen lips. swollen throats. inevitably calling your name on my deathbed. i am under-the-bed-shoeboxes filled with ripped photos that still smell of his cologne. i am one more dose of ambien to get you through the night. overdose on love, starve your lover. stop. rewind. i am the first glance in a coffee shop. play.

Oh dear God! Is that the date? Please tell me it’s not true I did not know it was that late, I’ve got so much to do. I might be ready at a push, if I do not panic But it will be an awful rush, possibly quite manic. So much Christmas fare to make, I do not know where to start, Three puddings and at least one cake, oh I must not fall apart. Then there are the letters for Santa, cards for the relations, And of course the Christmas tree, plus all the decorations. And I must order the turkey, and not forget the ham why do I bring this on me, I’m stupid so I am and do not forget the stuffing, the veg and the gravy brandy sauce for the pudding, oh this will be the death of me I have to buy so many presents, but there will be no shocks Last year I saw sense, after I received so many socks I must not forget anyone, just in case they visit I know I will forget someone, oh it’s not worth it, is it? I am so busy I cannot think, and time is getting near Oh I must not forget the drink, like I did last year I need to get the kids new clothes and probably new shoes Why I do it only God knows, because they hate everything I choose Which parties will I attend, it is really hard to know Because it drives people round the bend, when I accept and then don’t show There is a list of people I must see, or should I disappear I think they are still mad at me, for not visiting last year Oh there is so much to organize for this Christmas Day But after being up to my eyes I might just sleep the day away But ‘tis the season of good cheer, a time to show goodwill But as the day draws ever near I am sometimes fit to **** I will do my best to get it done, I have my mind set To make sure that everyone has their best Christmas yet So I must get my finger out, that much I do know Because there are only about…..fifty weeks to go!!

As school comes to an end, I decide to spend the summertime with my instrument. I read music theory for two hours, but my hands yearn for the touch of six strings. Fingers position themselves to stroke bliss. But my phone’s troubled with recurring rings. **** it was mom telling me I have class! I raced for my backpack, and I told her: I will not slack. Papers grew so lonely without their folder to cuddle them close. I couldn’t care to organize them cause usually, I’d lay in my seat repose. Ionic bonds? What do they even mean? And what the heck is “double replacement”? Okay, I should start paying attention. I grasp the pen. I notice the tension. As soon as I write, my hands start to shake. I start over. Now hands begin to ache. What in the world is happening to me? Two words: I scream. Head jerks, and my legs shake. It has to be a dream. It has to be! Don’t want to move, but I have to take notes. Why are random words bursting out my throat? I’ma be real. I need my mommy! Class is over. I exclaim to mother: my fingers refuse to stop tremoring. And I’m getting these tics. What set it off? First thing I do is reach for my guitar. I can’t hold it. I can’t ******* grab it. Eyes of terror stay written on my face. The next day I was in a wheelchair. I cannot look straight- straight up to the sky or look in front and into people’s eyes. My right-hand curves to the left. A tendon sinks into my flesh, and my left fingers cramp up from being intertwined like vines. They are stiff. Hideous. These are not mine. But it does get much better with some time. I can walk again, talk again, and write. But all good things come with downfalls, don’t they? My brain disease will come at me with might. And I refuse to give up on this fight. There will be a time when I reach stage five. And I know it won’t be a pretty sight. I’m ready for what will happen to me. Dearest guitar, please know you’re my heaven. Why bother to fret? Cause’ when the time comes I’ll see you again in a few seconds.
