"i'm watching you, stupid ***** Madison pointed at pyper as the girls made there way out of the dining room. "thats enough madison." Cordelia scolded. Nan followed pyper up the stairs into her bedroom. "why are you following me?" pyper asked, looking at nan in disgust. rolling her eyes and shaking her head. "you have madisons money." nan crossed her arms and smiled. "excuse me??" pyper replied as if she were offended by Nans accusation. "mhm, and you have zoeys sunglasses.., cassies ipod, and 25 dollars you stole from emilys purse. along with her art pencils." nan replied. "wow, you're A cleptomaniac." Nan laughed. "okay, how do you know all of this???" Pyper asked, her cheeks red from embarissment, and her head lowered in shame. "i'm psychic. i can read minds." nan explained. suddenly cassie walked past pypers room in search of her stolen ipod. "has anyone seen my pink ipod???" Cassie questioned, it was sitting on my bed, and now i can't find it anywhere. " she looked around hopelessly. "well then look in your room cassie. give me 5 minutes and i'll help you look." pyper shouted. "wow, you're a real piece of work arent you?" nan rolled her eyes and chuckled. "what is your angle, nan?" Pyper questioned, rolling her eyes aswell. saying names name as if she were mocking the whole idea of her. "my angle, PYPER. is this, you give everyone there **** back or i'm telling cordelia and you're out of here." Nan smerked. "you're not going to tell on me anyway?" pyper asked sadly. "no, not onless you do it again." nan sighed, "we stick together here, we're a family, we don't steele eachother down thats not what we're about." nan explained sympatheticly. "wow, thats funny because that's all my real family ever did." pyper replied with big sad puppy dog eyes. nan nodded, "i'm not here to listen to your ******** excuses or your sob stories. if saying that you've had a hard life, and never had anything given to you. and the world owes you. helps you get to sleep at night then fine, cool beans. but i'm not buying that shit. and these girls don't owe you anything. now, i expect everyone to have there **** back by the morning, or i will tell cordelia." nan sighed and rolled her eyes. "okay." pyper nodded with a wounded look upon her face. Cassie stood outside of the door, still listening. her eyebrows raised in anger. and then made her way up the stairs and into madisons room. "what are you doing here pipsquick. im NOT in the mood." Madison sobbed. "oh i think you're in the mood for this, i know who took your money." Cassie smiled.

I hate how the words "Lesbian," "Gay," "Bisexual," et cetera Are thought of as bad words. It's like, oh, no, don't teach your little sister the word lesbian Don't tell her there are some girls who like other girls How inappropriate! It's like, oh, no, don't teach your little brother the word gay Don't tell him there are some boys who like other boys How disgusting! Don't let anyone under the age you deem appropriate know That there are people who aren't heterosexual Why? I can't possibly understand why. There is no reason for homophobia, not really. I saw a metaphor somewhere that went something like this: "I was in Subway, and I bought myself a ham sub. As I was paying, the man behind me bought a different sub than me, and I was immediately offended that he got a different sandwich." This is what it sounds like when people say homosexual people affect them. How do they affect you? Just because they don't love someone who is of the opposite *** Or just because they like both Or something else Just because of their ****** preference, no matter what it may be You think that gives you reason to hate them? Really? Just because they're different than the 'normal' you're used to? Normality is relative. You can't say it's not "normal." That is not a justified nor sensical argument. What is wrong with those people? Can't they just see past all their biases and realize that we're all people And we all deserve the same rights no matter who we're attracted to No matter who we kiss No matter who we touch No matter who we have *** with Is it really that difficult? **We're all humans when it comes down to it, and we all deserve the same rights. Everyone should be able to see that.** And you know what I wonder? Why are we voting on whether people deserve rights or not in the first place? And then there's people who act like homosexuality is a disease People who act like anyone who is anything but heterosexual is broken and needs to be fixed They're not broken. They don't need to be fixed. They are who they are, and the government shouldn't tell them what they can and cannot do Based simply and only on who they're attracted to. "You can't get married because you aren't straight." Do you realize how shallow that is? Do you? "You're disgusting because you aren't straight." Why? Why should it matter to you who they're in a relationship with? It's their life, their decision. No one ever asks heterosexual people why they're heterosexual. No one ever says, "Hey, when did you decide you were straight?" It's just ridiculous, and I'm fed up of it. "If gay marriage is legalized, more people will become gay." Oh, yeah, sure, of course, that will totally happen. Just like when African Americans were given rights Everyone decided they wanted to go out and become African American. Just like when women were given rights Everyone decided they wanted to go out and become female. People of all sorts of sexualities and preferences have grown up With mostly straight media everywhere It didn't "turn" them straight. So gay media won't "turn" anyone gay It won't hurt anyone if there's a gay couple in a commercial. Or a TV show. Or any other form of media. It makes me sick to think that just because of your personal opinion My friends who are not heterosexual would not be allowed to get married To the person that they love. Do you know what will happen if gay marriage is legalized? Gay people will get married. Why can't you just understand that it doesn't matter? Why should you care what they do? Why should you care who they like? It doesn't affect you. It doesn't change you. It's just giving LGBT people more control over their own lives. It's just giving LGBT people rights they should have had in the first place. Why?

You're so offended these days
White folks: pack your bags and go. Our nut-brown world is quite offended. Make your shame-faced exit NOW, And leave your mansions unattended. Wait—before you pass the doors, It's time to settle ethnic scores. No more ragtime Minstrel Show. Our Moorish Science took it down. Black lives matter. White, less so— Now move your pale face out of town . . . But first, shell out for racial shame Caucasian losers of the game. Cultural pride is ours alone: Kings and Egyptian queens we were. The glories of our race, well-known Bedazzle in a darkened blur (Clear to Africa's descendants— Puzzling to you white dependents). Blackness lent your world its light, Taught the Dutch to tend those flowers. Scandinavia grew bright Under our beneficent powers. Negroes gave your blondes their beauty; Helped those Norsemen shake their ***** The Seven Wonders of the world: We built them all. No vain conjecture Dims our banner, black, unfurled, Above eternal architecture. Arts and knowledge gained from us Are what we threaten to discuss. We invented math and science Which you robbed from Timbuktu. Swarthy wisdom's brave defiance Caused Old Europe to renew. All our treasure that you plundered Testifies: your days are numbered. Classics of our Greeks you stole: Philosophy was never yours. Shame upon your racist soul; For Bach and Mozart both were Moors. Misappropriated treasures call for ruthless hard-line measures. Latino fate falls next—but, where ? Jews, Turks, and Arabs: are you. . . white ? Orientals everywhere: Choose your side and join the fight. Blackness rising! Late the hour; Heed your call to fight the power. Crackers need to check your race— Stop rooting for that ****** clown. Rednecks all up in our face; Racist throwbacks got us down. But as your statues bite the dust Your light goes dark (you know it must). So move on out, oppressor, thief. Long have you held our nation back. In some white galaxy seek relief— But here the light itself is black. Stars are racist. So is the sun. Now let God's great black will be done.

skimming the feed of poetry reading the works of poets liking here and there without ever a care some of us rather copiously we all have our favorites but the poem is just the beginning of the start with a spark if you never look at the activity you are missing the best part it's the jam that turns me on in comments short or long continuing the song so don't be offended of the flame that's ignited its all rather splendid to fire the wordplay excited it's not really a contest but more of a sinuous ebb and flow hoping for a laugh or looking to decompress when you have a day that blows

it's all about the wordplay
I sometimes take words that were first used by others (I'm About to admit I'm a bit of a crook) Re-hash and re-use them, and make my own covers- Stealing little known lines from an eloquent book. I've stolen from Shakespeare, yanked words off of Yeats, And pilfered from Plato and Brown; I've probably swiped stuff off all of the greats, And many of zero renown. There's more to be heard in the wise words of Wilde Or took from a Tennyson line Or the thinking out loud of an inquisitive child, Than could spill forth from this pen of mine. So if I've stolen from you, and perchance have offended, (Yes- I'm about to steal Shakespeare again) Just think but this, and all is mended; Nothing original came from my pen. Which means that, eventually, all that I've ever done Will be lost in the shadows of time, Skipped over, or lost, and simply outdone By your works original shine.

I am a man of no flag no God and no party but this offers me certain freedoms like freedom from offense and freedom to offend I've always found the most "offensive" jokes to be the funniest like a sacred cow butcher and if you are offended easily this might not be the poem for you that being said here we go Did you hear the one about the last pope who actually did any good? yeah me neither What did the pilot say when the Muslim man walked on his plane? "This is flight 216 we may have a potential security risk on the plane." America: Land of the free home of the brave? where a vast majority of the population are wage slave cowards and don't get me started on England a hot nest of xenophobia and racism which almost makes me glad to not live there anymore and it doesn't matter if you are a democrat or a republican because either way you are wrong, and dumb did you hear the one about the anti-gay republican in the gay bar? He took the most drugged up man he could find for some fun in the bathroom stall because the chances are tomorrow he won't remember enough to break the story I live in the sacred cow slaughter house (you can't spell slaughter without laughter) and the only food that really satisfies me anymore is USDA prime choice sacred cow beef

Death doesn't discriminate Quite frankly, He doesn't care Once He's out of the barrel Whizzing through midair. Gay, straight, Lesbian or Bi You have no control if you die. But the finger that pulled the trigger Now that's a different story. But motives mean nothing to the family in mourning This morning. There's nothing you could say or explain away that would bring comfort today. If you told them it was religion or a hate crime that doesn't give them any more time. And it's the outpouring of speechless faces Awestruck gazes That should shake us awake in every state from our state of denial. These cold steel devices have become our vices becoming our own rod of judgement in bringing "justice".   A disagreement in lifestyle does not warrant a life. If you feel offended, just turn the other cheek And prevent tears from streaming down cheeks. Death might not discriminate, but those who discriminate bring death. Whether it's in the form of a gun Or a loved one being shunned. Life is precious and sacred And if someone has it, you shouldn't take it.

Death Doesn't Discriminate Pt. II
I’m fine, thanks…                                                                                                                                                  Is that what you truly mean? Or do you mean I’m tired… I’m lonely… I’m hurt… Confused. Bewildered. Angered. Disillusioned… Skeptical… Or maybe I’m distressed… I’m woeful… I’m pathetic… Lost. Vulnerable. Infuriated… Empty. Lifeless. Crushed. Tortured. Dejected. Offended. Afflicted. Desolate. Desperate. Rejected. Heartbroken… Tormented… I’m scared… I’m disgruntled… Embarrassed… Weak. Dreadful. Hungry. Aggravated. Guilty… Shameful… Frustrated… Jealous… Horrified… Overwhelmed… Devastated… Defeated… Is fine ever what you truly mean? Or is it a cover?

How Are You?
I remember the day you told me your job. I was over joyed at the fact that I can have pink grass, A colour that represented me so perfectly. I was a princess and that is the colour to represent me. You laughed at the thought as I continued going on about glitter and lights in twined between each blade. I smiled as I imaged you and your crew working on my yard and I lean against the house admiring the movement of the muscles on your back. I remember the first time we called, We had just met the day before as I was enthralled with your imagination and I wanted to play. I was nervous but you didn't know. I don't remember what we spoke, but I remember your laugh, I remember the teasing and I remember your infatuation with my breast. No, I wasn't offended. I am a ***** and I appreciate the flattery, Can you get in my pants? Yes with a price of your daily attention. It has been months since the mention of pink grass, My grass welts now and dirt scatters my yard. My skirt is pulled up and I stare at a screen, Waiting... waiting... How is your grass? How are your needs? How are you and me? I never hear from you anymore and I come to my conclusion, I will never get my pink grass.

Spiders. Snakes. Late nights, due to the fact that once I saw a possum in our garage when it was dark out. Good looking people not thinking I'm good looking. Holding children. I might drop them. My brothers growing up to be just like me. Shark attacks. Jumping off high places. Headphones that go too deep into my ears. Going the opposite direction of so many cars. I'm the only one going my way.  They're probably headed the right way. They're probably having more fun. Realizing that, after being on the road for a while, my high beams have been on the whole time. Sorry. Cockroaches. Family reunions where I'm not sure if that really attractive girl is my family or someone's friend. Climbing up the stairs of the Bombay ride at Wet N' Wild because there just slabs of stone I can see under. I could slip and fall right through. Enjoying bad bands. Letting my girlfriend look into my eyes. Talking on the phone. Growing up. Refusing to grow up. Reading this over if I ever finish it and realizing that I am something less than a regular human being.  Probably an animal of some kind. Frogs. Big animals. Waking up one day as the same person I always have been. Standing still. My parents. Not spending the rest of my life with the girl I swore I would. Texting people too often. My parents dying. Whales. My teeth being this awful the rest of my life. Braces. Making people think they offended me.  People never offend me. Writing anything that's ever as good as Ernest Hemingway.  How dare I think that I ever could. Running too hard.  My heart might burst. Being unreasonable. Am I unreasonable? Sticking my finger inside an air conditioning vent in a car.  I don't know if there's a fan in there.  I don't know if it'll take my finger off. Getting people's hopes up. Letting people down. Fish. Bees. Being a teacher. My laugh. Wearing bad clothes. Holding her hand too hard.  I might cut off circulation.  She might get mad. My brother disapproving of what I do. Heaven because it sounds awful doing the same thing for the rest of forever. Finding out I've been gay this whole time. Cracking my fingers. Being a parent. Whales. Final exams. Paranormal Activity 4. Singing on cue. Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. Eating insects. Whales. Silence. The open ocean. Whales. Whales.

I swear these days the kids think they can rap With their #swag and their #yolo and snapback caps. But I'd like to show them what RAP means in this country I'll spell it out: RHYTHMIC AMERICAN POETRY. Without your stanzas and word composition you're just another rapper with an arrogant disposition. Without a positive message and a humble demeanor you've got negativity causing the children to get meaner. You blast the bass and you spit your rhymes you claim that the haters, "they be lying." But you fail to see that at the heart of it all you're more like Lil' Wayne than Biggie Smalls. I'm truly sorry if you get offended by this rant, but first thing's first; Pull up your pants...

You don't seem to think with Reason; root Chakra so loud and gratifying. So very much louder, and as if that makes it right, and as if it makes up for all that lack of self control: You don't seem to think with Reason, your root Chakra is your puppeteer. Playing with Fire, One gets ******* burnt. What did you expect? Then again, you don't seem to think with Reason. Unbalanced Root Chakra; so very loud and gratifying, leaves you cracked and empty; hollow. Wallowing. I know this is hard to swallow, but, do you follow? You bring it on yourself! You called it down, summoned it! You played with Root Chakra Fire and we're all still getting burnt. You might have saved yourself, but I am still enduring it; Each time I think of Love, Pain instead comes to Mind because that is how those I have Loved have treated me. "You're such a good person", they've said. Hah! That's either ******** or just insincere, 'cause they've sure as **** shown me what it is they thought I deserved: Reap the words of one you've broken down. Behold the Wrath you've ******* sewn about! Dark Actions propagate dark Feelings; Face the repercussions of your Actions: This is a Reflection of you! This is a Reflection of what you have done! This is no appeal to Guilt; for what good would that do? -- I guess we must think differently, and that's fine. I guess I am just so offended 'cause I hold *** with reverence; To me, *** ******* means something, and I thought of *** as an extension and expression of our Love and not just another ******* Addiction. Turns out it was just another ******* Addiction and you got your ******* fix, but where's mine? You've become just another ******* Addiction that I am now forced to quit cold-turkey. Just another addiction. (I was) Just another addiction. (You are) Just another addiction. Just another ******* Addiction after all.

Dazed. The stars never seemed so far away Lying with hopelessness sleeping next to my pillow In the arms of seclusion, still I lay After a long night we formed a ********* No strength to pray Withing my carapace I inquire a reason Of why I'm so numb Where is my lighter? Concealing my pain Where is my grinder? When life is like a sudden rush of fresh air to A raging set of flames Savagely searching for an euphoria But it's the impossible to maintain Longing for an escape Only in sweet serenity But when 5 fingers deadly hugs your heart & wrings out your Innocence, happiness, and tranquility You are forced to watch them leak Decrepit Reaching for a lighter to blaze the leaf Because in the sober mind You Are Weak No that is me. So I begin to pollute my temple Taking it all into my bloodstream With the exhale of a breath In the mist of a cloud I release my exhaustion My emotion and my temper Enhancing my inner being suddenly, I know with facts that I am steel Making it through another dreadful night My wounds are temporarily healed But When there was no soul to console No arms to hold No pen to make art No illumination from the dark Only the flame that I flick Which forms so beautifully & Dances in front of my eyes Offended that beauty could destroy so ruthlessly A killer in disguise Or ruthlessly be destroyed In this life full of void Consumed by the misery of all the screams All the noise When the Sun's job is done, it hides from the World Full of hatred and pity Another night comes Captive in these four walls No where to run Now I'm forced to look at how far I've come I could have died in insanity Arson my soul Plead guilty of ****** A Killer Upfront If I had not match all those nights with all those blunts                             Copy Right 2013                                  ©Patty Ann

To the man on the street that called my ex girlfriend and I ****** I forgive you. We were nineteen and in love, I’m sorry that you were raised in a way that made you look at two girls holding hands and laughing as something that wasn’t to be shown in public. I’m sorry that my happiness made you feel insecure in that moment. My happiness was not on display to offend you. My love life was never an act of rebellion against you. I will forgive you for how you were raised but I will not apologize for showing love in a way you don’t deem appropriate for wandering eyes. To the people I went to high school with, I’m sorry I never heard the rumours you spread about me until you were already out of my life. I’m sure you meant to break my heart when you called me **** in the hallways but your words never made their way back to me. Your aggression towards who I chose to love never stopped me from falling in love with girls I never imagined could be real. I refuse to hide away my love. I will not let your words shame me back into the closet I was scared to admit I was stuck in. To the people who used to send me anonymous messages telling me to **** myself I hope you’re in a better place now. I often think about how my big secret made you so upset that you couldn’t stand to live in the same world as me. I’m not sorry that I’m still here now. I still feel sorry that you were so sad with yourself that you needed to make me feel as hopeless as you were. To the people who voted no towards same *** marriage but watch girl on girl **** I’m sorry my love is only okay when it’s for your pleasure. I’m sorry that you have such a skewed view on life that you see women as objects and not as people. I would forgive you but I don’t think you’d fess to your wrongdoing to be forgiven. There is nothing to forgive if someone won’t admit that they are wrong. I’m twenty three now and I’m still not sorry for writing love poems about beautiful girls. I have stopped apologizing for being something that I’m proud of. I no longer hide behind my assumed heterosexuality. I proudly proclaim my attraction to women because I spent too many years being ashamed of being in love. I will never again sweep hatred under the rug to keep peace. I have never needed your approval for my love to be valid and I never will.

An open letter to those offended by my sexuality: a poem

I don't want smart. I want spontaneous. I don't want roses and a candle-lit dinner. I want drunken nights by the campfire. I don't want a boy that says 'I love you' Because I don't believe in love And, even if I did, I'm not emotionally capable of feeling it. I want a boy that's okay with that. I don't want a boy that showers me with compliments or a knight in shining armor. I don't want mushy love letters or romantic get aways. I don't want a boy who's looking for a wife because I don't believe in marriage. And I don't want a lover. I want a partner in crime. I want a boy with chaos flickering in his eyes. I want a boy who smiles a lot. I want contagious laughter. I want loud. I want steamy kisses where he presses my body into his and my skin tingles. I don't want late night phone calls or 'Good morning' texts. I want a boy that calls me out on my ******** I want a boy that pushes my buttons. I want a challenge. I don't want a boy that makes me feel pretty. I want a boy that makes me feel alive. I want a boy that taps on my window in the middle of the night And brings me on a starlit adventure. I don't want a boy that makes love. I want a boy that will **** me raw. And I want a boy that will let me pass out on him afterwards. And I want a boy that won't get offended if I move away in the middle of the night Because cuddling hurts my neck and his heartbeat is keeping me awake. I don't want a boy that holds hands. I want a boy that drives too fast. I don't want a boy that babies me. And I don't want a shoulder to cry on Because I'm not fragile And I can take care of myself. I want a boy that pushes me into oncoming sprinklers And doesn't hold anything back. I don't want a boy that's looking for forever because forever seems like a really long time. I want a boy that goes day by day. I don't want safe. I want to go fast. I want to live on the edge. I want exhilaration. I don't want to be wanted. I want to want.

*veins of my fingers in riots of blossomed colours like threads made of lilac, lavender, blues and leafs. for the blues are essences of the Elysian skies, while lilacs, lavenders and leafs were stolen from an old man's farm every dawn the sunlit blue wept for the docile stars' hide I knock my knuckles red and wild, like the raspberries from the monsieur's farm my chin against the beige, I gaze to where the magpies talk too loudly on the garden moist swollen and offended by the loud chirps of boisterous dins, the grouchy neighbour cry. I fill my baskets with wild things and papers, I have cheese and juices, fruits and sweet carrots. I have peach trees on my nails for jam I have cherries in my toes for pie I have snows in my lapin's soul for some ice creams I have poppies in my worn pants for a good sight And there's even vineyards of all Verona in my mind the ribbons on the hat loom into the gardens' tunnel; I have herb gardens, I have secret gardens  And I have my old books and pens in there. when my laces are riven, the embroidered flowers are not. the canvas shoes is painted in petrichors and soil my dresses go tattered, sewn with patches into the vines, thorns and russet throats I lilt and leap against smells of rustic wood pencils and redolent flowers There, under a green willow is where to sit and devour wisdom and to drink some saccharine wine with mon lapin and maybe some picnic pies. The abominable tremors will be gone, My morn soul diving into fairy pools of sensuous europhias.*

Remembering those that are keeping it all together whilst being screamed at, humiliated, insulted, offended and hurt. Those who feel like screaming but holding the meltdown in check. Those who are frustrated and trapped and killing somebody seemed the best option but just do not have the right state of mind. Those whom in the ugly face of violence, are still fighting for their right to freedom of choice. Freedom for a right to live equally because, life has dealt them a hard hand. A right to be who they dream to be. Those that are being mistaken for their tears as mere weakness. Those that have lost their spirit to fight but are hoping-still. Those who are in their lowest now but still faithful and pressing on despite everything. Those that feel the need to cry but had to smile instead. Those who live within their means but wish there could have been more or be more because of another brother, sister, relative in need. Those who put every one elses need ahead of their own. Lest we forget, you are remembered today.
