"nations" poems
Our nation is a father Who spends sons unwisely Wasting their wonder On warrior blunders In nations swelling pride We see our children Committing suicide Honor bound to pursue Patriotic truths If mothers ran the world Would it all be better Or would maternal malice Malform modern intent Blue eyes telling lies Of war and all its’ glories Grey hair sitting there In old reclining lawn chairs Celebrating fantastic stories But I know the lives lost Were not always spent wisely Were not always sacrificed justly Why does it feel like no one else sees Have I become Don Quixote Fatherland motherland Better planned Would be brotherhood And sisterhood All that love spent for the good Like this poem We have lost our way Perhaps better stanza Will return the wisdom Of our better sages

Nation
Oh why am I still hurting Isn't it past the hour of pain? Hell is only temporary Til He rids you of all shame! I stepped into Your room Try to relive Your relieving To rid me of my gloom Try to receive Your revealing Jealous the jealous God I seek restless for Your love Mine eyes grow tired and weary Jealous the jealous God Jealous the jealous God I drown helpless in Your flood I thirst scarcely for Your mercy Jealous the jealous God Why is the world so empty Yet weighs millions o' pounds? Where lies pile up aplenty To keep the lost from being found Why is deception Like form of education Setting false foundations Corrupting His creation As lies disguise damnation For a paper-clad salvation Sending ill vibrations To the youth of all the nations I wonder how much am I missing, o God? A wonder even the universe cannot contain Translated and made compatible in a human's brain. Soulless animals kiss the land In honor of the One Who was, who is and is to come Who dares their doubt expand In disbelief blot out the sun Jealous the jealous God Soulless animals indeed we have become

2. Ballade
Last night I cried myself to sleep thinking about you, the ********** chemistry that we used to share over the midnight campfire, our sleek bodies rising in passion with each bursting flame, deep shifting fingers pressed up against thick sheets, as our ankles and thighs harmonized and smiled, glossy green eyes filled with lust and immense thoughts.  Your soul was calling out to me in the nighttime sky, vibrant skin sifting inside timeless climaxes and rewinds, shimmering lights and hypnotic gleams, an ocean of water and poetry gliding on booming beats.  The world began to sink inside our romance, the horniness of our hot flesh sizzling in sparking temptations, deep designs and glimmering patterns.  And as our nations made music over earth’s creation, brilliant escapes and captivating depths, you were the magnificent star inside my kingdom, the purest existence that could illuminate the fire inside eyes.

And in this courtroom So filled with Four Nations The Sun held her head up high, Lighting the way for their tales and psalms: I am the King of Spades. Righteous ambition is my goal. The bravery of the Spades is made known to others Only through such matters. Perseverance is our path to Victory Endurance, our greatest desire. We, the Spades, partner with Father Time To belong as a mighty people Forever more. I am the Queen of Diamonds The splendor and enjoyment of Life's beauty is my passion. A Diamond's journey is a one of glorious awe That no one can compare. Loveliness surrounds this pretty people And the Artist shall forever be pleased by them. Our perception of artistry leaves most in awe And this fact is forever the passion we strive for. I am the Queen of Clovers Survival is the sole lifestyle of the Clovers In this wretched and unforgiving world The Clovers must stay strong Holding the clubs of the ancients, We prevail Onward shall we extend our power The Clovers will remain Forever the mightiest. I am the King of Hearts. The rapid spread of emotional ties Is what us Hearts long for. Threads of fate surround our people Binding them to one another. Love, lust, infatuation Oh, these are the things that steady our nation! So filled with Faith, Hope and Love Our Hearts shan't fail us As passion will never cease To flow in our veins —ah, yes! This is the way of the Hearts. And in this courtroom So filled with Four Nations The Sun laid down her head Whilst the Moon finally awoke and, Smiled his light onto them below.

I rolled out of bed to start my day, but the power was off my all electric home, as still as a grave. No coffee, or toast. The refrigerator not cold, the freezer started dripping the contents soon to spoil. No computer, no cell phone service! I began sweating profusely, no air conditioning to cool me. Not even a TV Emergency Broadcast Alert, to release this uneasy feeling of topsy-turvy . I drove into town seeking a pay phone, with not a single one to be found, gone the way of the dinosaurs, extinct now too I assumed. My old truck had no computer chips, most cars did and were dead in their tracks. I needed gas but the gas station pumps electric computer driven, all DOA to boot. The Nations electric grid had crashed, blacked out, stone cold dead everywhere. All heavenly satellites blacked out, expired. Everything computer related (and that is about everything), had ceased to function as had the electronic reliant world we had created.   The street throngs of dazed people walked around like zombies, clutching blacked out dead computer devices, knowing not what to do. Not even talking, forgotten I guess how to do that too. As dependently defectively programmed as the useless devices in their hands. In a panic I did awake finding that this scary dream world was indeed all fake, a nightmare of fearful unconscious thinking. My electric clock was still churning, It's music alarm blaring, birds outside still singing, my cell phone started ringing, it was merely another Robot call, Welcoming me back to the 21 century.

United Nations *Let us all now make this promise To be signed by every land If you hurt the children of this world As United Nations we will stand You may never use our children As fighters in your wars For our children are not soldiers They are gifts to be adored Don't think that you can take them Or use them as your shields That the killing of our children Will help to change the way we feel No one shall ever force a child To preform like an adult For that gift is only theirs to give When true love is in their hearts Know the world now stands together For this fight is worth the cause And our countries have no boarders When children are involved Let us all now make this promise To be signed by every land If you hurt the children of this world As United Nations we will stand* Signed by The People of The United States Of America Poem by: Carl Joseph Roberts

United Nations
(March, 1919)A LIAR goes in fine clothes. A liar goes in rags. A liar is a liar, clothes or no clothes. A liar is a liar and lives on the lies he tells and dies in a life of lies. And the stonecutters earn a living-with lies-on the tombs of liars. Aliar looks 'em in the eye And lies to a woman, Lies to a man, a pal, a child, a fool. And he is an old liar; we know him many years back. A liar lies to nations. A liar lies to the people. A liar takes the blood of the people And drinks this blood with a laugh and a lie, A laugh in his neck, A lie in his mouth. And this liar is an old one; we know him many years. He is straight as a dog's hind leg. He is straight as a corkscrew. He is white as a black cat's foot at midnight. The tongue of a man is tied on this, On the liar who lies to nations, The liar who lies to the people. The tongue of a man is tied on this And ends: To hell with 'em all. To hell with 'em all. It's a song hard as a riveter's hammer, Hard as the sleep of a crummy hobo, Hard as the sleep of a lousy doughboy, Twisted as a shell-shock idiot's gibber. The liars met where the doors were locked. They said to each other: Now for war. The liars fixed it and told 'em: Go. Across their tables they fixed it up, Behind their doors away from the mob. And the guns did a job that nicked off millions. The guns blew seven million off the map, The guns sent seven million west. Seven million shoving up the daisies. Across their tables they fixed it up, The liars who lie to nations. And now Out of the butcher's job And the boneyard junk the maggots have cleaned, Where the jaws of skulls tell the jokes of war ghosts, Out of this they are calling now: Let's go back where we were. Let us run the world again, us, us. Where the doors are locked the liars say: Wait and we'll cash in again. So I hear The People talk. I hear them tell each other: Let the strong men be ready. Let the strong men watch. Let your wrists be cool and your head clear. Let the liars get their finish, The liars and their waiting game, waiting a day again To open the doors and tell us: War! get out to your war again. So I hear The People tell each other: Look at to-day and to-morrow. Fix this clock that nicks off millions When The Liars say it's time. Take things in your own hands. To hell with 'em all, The liars who lie to nations, The liars who lie to The People.

the other day I occupied a chair at a sidewalk café watching the vanity fair of the quotidian float by in quickly changing apparitions an endless flow of different ages, nations, fashions, skin colors, miens, ****** expressions, postures & gaits kept passing through  my field of vision it made me wonder why some people get so furious when they  just hear about     not even meet     the ‘others’ different from themselves that they start dropping  bombs and shooting rockets I think they rather should be curious and eager to discover how the immense variety of humankind can help expand a locally grown mind and recognize that we are all of the same kind

humankind
Power is indeed a corruptive force, Through all of mankind’s history This has always been true. Emperors, Kings, Potentates, Popes, Presidents and Despots too. Gathering near the Throne are the Eager Courtier leeches reaching to touch the anointed one’s robe. Declaring their undying loyalty, In the process selling their souls. Their rewards, a speck of personal power, Castles and new riches of gold. Like their Master, the entitled ones will lie and cheat, while ignoring The principals of right and good. Believing “Decency” is but a poor man’s word, Never uttered within the hearing of the Ruler. Never a considered artifact of absolute power. The slaves, serfs, the common people Matter not, but to serve the Ruler. The power elite will start needless wars, or offer up sacrificial lambs, all to distract the unrest of the common man. They will suppress human rights, free speech and defame, banish or imprison their detractors. All merely smoke and mirrors to conceal, Controlling agendas of personal greed. From ancient times down to today This cycle repeats. Now we are living our own Textbooks history of tomorrow. Kingdoms and Nations have perished From this kind of poisonous corruption, Needless to say, it will happen again. Perhaps it already is.

History Repeats
Oh Generational gap, a cancer of to all mankind. The father of lack of communication between the young and the old. A difference brought about the tastes and values. The pain faced between young and aged but can’t be touched. It started by 1960’s the decades of revolutionary change. It cut across the world in values of *** religion and civil rights. The disease the emerged earned its self a name by social scientists. It then became “Generational Gap” I would love to quote a man of great thoughts, Alexis De Tocqueville, who commented that; “Among democratic nations, each generation is a new people” I have come to appreciate these words. When I walk down the streets noticing the rising incompatibility existing in our society Though I admire the old days when the old and young associated freely, working on the same farms Grandparents telling stories to their little ones; what a lovely society they had. With the invention of television and computers some families were bonded in communication While others live in agony especially the illiterate. The old desire different designs from the youth, whose trends change per living day of nakedness Young people prefer working in executive places like offices compared to the donkey farm work considered to be for the old Another cause of generational gap is decay in morals; the young people feel like they know everything and don’t like to be corrected thus taking information from old people as outdated, young people finding lots of hardships to great their elders In the field of music elders prefer oldies and more preferably educative songs, and as for the youths they delight in Hip-hop and dancehall, am sure those present here can testify to this a term with no disco dances makes us dull students. When it comes to religious issues, youth find it a burden to go to church and if they offer to go they prefer it to be in a club way. GENERATIONAL GAP
Praise and worship accompanied by jazz unlike the old days where drums are the centre of music. Cultures in this way have greatly faded away; the trend of western culture has flamed up the world. Drugs and *** are a hobby and celebrated amongst the youth, yet *** to the old was for companionship and co-creation. But when we came to medical technology we all applause in general, young or old there is easy treatment, use of scanners, and medical facilities cuts across.

It is difficult to be a man, For I am not a typical one. It is hard for me to go on, There’s a secret that pulls me. I loathe when my memories strike, They hit emotionally with might. I struggle so much to survive, In a world so deaf towards my cries. I look at a He and my heart convulses, For I recall a He who gave me kisses. I was young, forced and naïve, I fought but He was much stronger. Society might tell that I’m gay, For I let a man violated me in a way. But I’m not a ***** and I’m sure, I play a role for which others envy. When I was a teen I met her, I admired her even if she’s older. I was then shy and very timid, With mental and emotional scars. I thought of her as a dear friend, Then she turned to be my worst fiend. One instance she forced herself on me, And used things that hurt me so. A girl’s tactics differ from the stronger *** Tears she used first and blackmail next. She was cunning, sly and very clever, She stole my pride and my dignity. My fears now mixed with anger, My determinations got bolder. I still cry and sometimes get lonely, Like any other victim I want to fight. I can not shout to the whole nations, For societies will scorn at my declamation. Both sexes forgot that I have feelings too, I am also made of flesh, bones and spirit. I am not proud of what I become, Within me clouding reasons try to calm. My desire is to win this battle to the end, I am capable of vulnerability like any human. But where does my right begin? This universe has compassion for women. The likes of me are expected to be steel made, Yet I have feelings too for I am just a man.

Far back in the ages, The plough with wreaths was crowned; The hands of kings and sages Entwined the chaplet round; Till men of spoil disdained the toil By which the world was nourished, And dews of blood enriched the soil Where green their laurels flourished: --Now the world her fault repairs-- The guilt that stains her story; And weeps her crimes amid the cares That formed her earliest glory. The proud throne shall crumble, The diadem shall wane, The tribes of earth shall humble The pride of those who reign; And War shall lay his pomp away;-- The fame that heroes cherish, The glory earned in deadly fray Shall fade, decay, and perish. Honour waits, o'er all the Earth, Through endless generations, The art that calls her harvests forth, And feeds the expectant nations.

Ode For An Agricultural Celebration
#An Exegesis on the Humiliation of the Word The world is ruled by darkness. What appears as harmless is theater, what pretends neutral is already bent. The macrocosm corrodes; and in the microcosm, its reflection gleams.. even in places meant to be sanctuaries of truth. A poetry site, born as refuge for broken voices, becomes another stage of control. Here too the phrase resounds:   neutralize the threat. But neutralization is not annihilation. It is paralysis. It is psy-ops. It is the removal of anxiety.. not a side-effect, but the aim itself. Darkness builds its stage for this alone: that the  "angel of light" may drown his own reckoning beneath a world of deception-built self comfort, so he need never feel the truth he already knows. Comfort is his curtain, numbness his crown..   *the removal of his own anxiety;       his game.* This is why the world is his theater-- *Darkness does not destroy at first.. it sedates, comforts, smothers.* Hence.. The whole world is his fully gaslit stronghold,     ..for now. Fade back into the moment-- The young poet arrives, bringing her unspoken pain, her hope for words to heal. Instead, her very wounds are seized as footholds. Hearts. Reposts. Endless affirmation. Not to strengthen her voice, but to redirect it. She is seduced into  belonging, and her trauma becomes currency. Unresolved, her ache entwined with lust-- a sacrifice prepared  for false altars. The angel of light  has done his work: offering inclusion without transformation, belonging without responsibility, “light” without source. The poet is neutralized. Her searching silenced, her voice absorbed into fog. Those who carry this fog cling to cowardice. Unable to face the judgment within, they align themselves to the herd; envy-filled, they only know to mock. Yet they replicate themselves, so their refusal of Light is never revealed-- *Perfectly exemplifying their "Great Example" the most envy-based mocker  of all.* The microcosm mirrors the macrocosm. What nations suffer, individuals now endure--    Comfort without clarity.    Belonging without truth.    Safety without healing. Yet the living Word endures. Every attempt to humiliate it only makes its fire burn clearer. Carriers of darkness can swarm, ****** and smother.. but they cannot create. The true word cannot be erased. Unfiltered, unedited, spoken from a reconciled temple, it pierces fog. It reveals. It heals. And so we speak.. not for ourselves alone, but for those who come searching, hoping that poetry might still be a place where pain can meet truth, where silence breaks, where Light is not withheld   but revealed. #

I truly believe that one of the reasons that the US is despised and condemned world wide is because of such views on such characteristics as: honesty, integrity, independence(this includes not thinking in a collective mindset which we do as a culture, everything is apple or windows, pepsi or cola, republican or democrat, people need to think for themselves stop claiming and just be), persistence, determination, morale, empathy, tradition/heritage, learning, chivalry, discernment, and humility. Instead of utilizing and perfecting these people of this nation and similar one's have become: prideful, dependent, drive-less, imprudent/unwise, insulting, ignorant(willfully so), objective, biased, crude, mediocre, and surface oriented. In turn we have neglected the responsibilities we have of ourselves. This has resulted in physical, mental, and spiritual capacity regression on a mass scale. Most people have no idea what they are consuming in their daily dietary intake(I mean really know what all the ingredients are and what they do whether positive or negative). Most citizens have also become, literally and according to the United Nations Education Scientific and Cultural Organization, mentally incapable and completely inane as compared to even 15yrs ago. We have forgotten how to have a community to the point that neighbors don't know each other anymore. We have exchanged the truly important things in life like knowledge and wisdom for wealth and appearance. We have completely forgotten how to survive without the aid of water treatment, electricity, and useless objects. One of the worst of all things we have stopped doing, is being involved with our government; instead, we have put our trust in them without oversight, and this is why we have been losing our liberties. I believe, just like Benjamin Franklin stated, that any individual who sacrifices even one liberty for safety/security... deserves to have all of their liberties eradicated. In conclusion, it is time to return our societies to ourselves. We need to relearn the truly important things in life and start living with ourselves, each other, and nature as we must to thrive. It is on us as a people to repair what generations before us, and our generations are doing; lest, I am afraid, our children and grandchildren will inherit the same ideals and expand upon them until we regress to the point that insolence, ignorance, and imprudence is the common norm... we have already begun to accept these. Open your eyes to the truth, at first it will be painful and difficult, but than you will be set free. WE THE PEOPLE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR FUTURES AND CHILDREN'S FUTURES.

This nation once fought for its liberty, its redemption, its freedom. Now it sets all its rights aside just because those who reside in this nation simply lost the fire that once burned in their heart. The freedom that this nations heroes fought long ago is being disregard. The countrymen act like the notion of freedom is nothing. I dream about the nation this piece of land used to be. How nationalistic it once was, how love used to fill the air. Now, nothing remains but the memories of what used to be. I would honestly rather live and die in the time wherein this nation fervently fought for its freedom and its rights, wherein each and every person loved its homeland, than live today where apathy rules.

What is once used to be
400 years America , For 400 years America, we've been playing this game of cat and mouse, and for 400 years America, you refuse to give us the keys to the house. For 400 years America , we've been asking to be free, and for 400 years America , you sat there and you promised me, all the freedom I could ask for , for just a small fee For 400 years America , we've been paying that small fee in sweat, tears and blood For over 400 years America, we have witnessed the flood, from the storm clouds that burst in a black mother's eyes. The Storm that rages in her heart as she cries. The Lightening that strikes her heart as she watches her son bleed as he dies. For over  400 years America , we've had to watch our people bleed , for over 400 years America , you've literally scorched and scathered and destroyed our seed. For over 400 years America our sons, daughters, fathers , mothers have bled and for over 400 years tear after tear was shed The flags that represent you, makes you free . But the same flags that represent you, doesn't represent me. The flag that represents words that say"all men are created equal" considered me an animal and there seemed to never be a sequel. 400 years later and still "no refuge can save, the hireling and slave from the terror of flight or the gloom of the grave" I am not blind, don't need a stick or a stave, I am not foolish, I see the road that you have paved America! For over 400 years, America, My brothers and sisters have fought for your pride We carried your rifles, we lifted your flag and still you were snide For over 400 years America, for you battles we've won 400 year later you still point your gun It's been 400 years America, Gotdammit I am not a slave I want my rights and you will not tell me how to behave! You've always had freedom white man, and you don't know how bad I crave! that my kids grow up in freedom and for that I'll be brave to the grave. Even if it kills me, I will not let the color of my skin decide whether or not I win. I will not you let, America, and your adulterous, heinous sin control me and the condition I am in 400 years later America, and you act like you still don't know their names 400 years later America and you still plea ignorance, you don't feel their pains Emmit Till, Trayvon Martin, Freddie Gray These are some of the lives from us you took away 400 years later and you still make us pay and that's not okay.... To you slavery was yesterday and we should shout free at last? To you the last police shooting was last week, we shouldn't riot,  it's in the past, You want us white washed but we can't shake the scars from centuries in a caste Freedom isn't free, but I still believe, I still believe that someday my eyes will see, all nations, all skin colors under one tree, connected to one vine, to the divine
