"natatorium" poems
Obscure is an understatement on how my nonsensical(s) joined squadron
I’ve taken nightly dips into an odious filled pool
Breaking the bonds and ties that outline the ripples waning opprobrious schemes
These livid moments of trauma events clash into the shallow reef
Orthodoxes lost abroad the endless natatorium
The chlorine punctures green hints that double in risk
Maligning my skin of stained memoir, tisk tisk

Floating in suspension
above a tile matrix.
Somewhere in that matrix
there is a consistency--
a ratio of blue tiles
to white tiles.
Blue,
blue,
blue,
blue,
WHITE.
...white?
Was it white?
Startled by a barrier
the ratio has been
blurred.
Somehow losing track of
the one thing that matters,
brings back the
real
goal.
Caught up in minutiae,
trapped in a cerulean mass...
no time has elapsed,
but time has passed.
