You sailed millions of miles away
To a place of no visit
When I was holding
No meaning of this day
Many years passed now
to me seemed it was just yesterday
You never turned up to say bye
How I wish you were here
To embrace you with love and honor
Showering you with gifts
Taking you to the end of the earth
But I only have memories
This Day is always hard for me
Without you by my side
I stare at your pictures for quite a while,
But can't get myself to smile.
More tears shed down my face,
It hurts me inside
but i only understand
that we were born to die
no one will exist forever
Let my tears be a gift to you mama
With mountain moving hope in my heart
One day we will share the same world of peace

Chini ya mnazi bandarini
Kumbukumbu ndizo zilizobakia tu
Kunizinguka akilini
Huba lako kulikosa
Yaumiza moyoni
Upepo kutoka baharini
Tulipoketi ukininong'onezea
Sikioni kwamba ni mimi tu
Kwamba utanipenda
Tukichora zetu mchangani
Aaah, nyakati za raha hizo!
Ukaniliwaza mtima
Tukapanga mipango ya milele
Nabakia kutafuna utamu
Wa kumbukumbu tu
Chini ya mnazi bandarini
Nikilemewa maradhi ya moyo
Filamu ya huba letu akilini
Tukicheza ufukoni
Penzi ndio madini ninayokosa mwilini
Kama kosa ni langu najuta
Usinkwepe rejea nakwita
Nitakuenzi nikutunze almasi
Tulitwae tunda la penzi nawe
Tulichovye buyu la asali
Wengine waone kijicho
Tupendane tena

How she smiles
Melts my pain away
Takes me to a place
A glimpse of peace
Once a while
Like gentle breeze of green
And a happy sun
And pure air
Sanitised by nature herself
Touching the hairs of my skin
Clean
Lasting only a while
Not too long
I only catch a breath
Then back to regrets
Everyday spaces
Familiar places
Orchestrated in
Reverberated agonies of souls
Haunted by sin
Eating away inside our skin
A bit by beat
Pasts that will still lay
Before my eyes
With an uningnorable scent
Stubborn on my nose
On Statuses.
On WhatsApp.
On Posts
On Facebook
Wherever, my eyes look
Wherever, my life breeds
Wherever, my nostril finds air
Hanging strong
With such unignorable scent
Like freshly painted walls in cheap paint
Annoying
But
One that defeats love
Then she smiles again
With a little squeaky sound of laughter
Her little tongue
Peeking
Seeking
A shot at my soul
And I swear
Its only just
For a while
And again I am lost
In the gentle breeze of green
And yet again
I only catch a breath

mapenzi yakweli nilikupa sio kutania
Marafiki wanakuulizia niwaambie nini ?
Nimekuzoea siungelitulia.
Alafu moyo unaujinga bado unakuhitaji

She treated me like an option,like never had love
Said i should read in between the "lines"
Sikuwa smart enough to read in between the "lies"
Nilijipa moyo tried to see in the bigger expectations awaken the passion of the deceit picture grew bigger ,
She promised to be my keeper but found in it sense mapenzi yamekuwa past tense,
She promised me heaven on earth but left me heart broken,
Kanitumia na kanitupa kwa pipa "hurt" and "broken"
