"marginalization" poems
Ladies on Water Street, with coffee grounds under your fingernails, You are the reason that I leave my bed before Ten In the morning. Some days I want to ask if you’ve ever read Marquez but I am far too shy and you are far too beautiful and I think too much and you are probably Too Straight. But while you are pouring that espresso: Allow me (just this once) To wade only ankle- deep. Allow me (forgive me), I know its marginalization; You are a human and a person, But I must give way to temptation: let me engage in some Innocent objectification (an oxymoron, I'm aware), as I sip an Americano through dumb lips and watch the little movements of your hips.

To The Ladies working at The Rocket Bakery
There is a fight It is internal There is a plight It is infernal There is no light In this ****** There are many things people callously say Like I'm the last person they'd expect to be gay Delivered like a compliment Burning like a sulfur vent I have to remember not to say thank you To save someone some discomfort down the line When it's easy to let these sentiments internalize You'll see this in the homosexual community They don't face the hatred with impunity Some call themselves masculine And blame their plight on the effeminate But no matter what They'll still be called degenerate So the community internalizes marginalization Though this prejudiced stop is no original station You'd think your own kind would allow vacations From the population of an uncaring nation That will never grant us any veneration Because of the nature of our *********** Yet we **** ourselves for their placation There is hatred within This hatred imprint When we fractionalize marginalized groups Into the "good" ones and "bad" ones We say the bad ones are the reasons the good ones must be hated Whether they're cops or criminals Christian or Muslim Gay or straight We find reasons to hate When we live our life in the grime Of the negativity we've internalized

Internalize
No option, but to be perceived Violent, Aggressive, Irrational Identity becoming an other Words of malice, they mystify Words of ignorance, they vilify Subverting consciousness and articulation Our identities, fighting to be Autonomous landscapes Hoping in anticipation for liberation No real notion of we or me Implicating it's inhuman to be foreign When they represent as much of we and me Scandalizing alternative identities as subversive Advancing erasures in favor of hegemony Propaganda favoring what is most white Amelioration for the obliteration of cunning identity? No more cooperation, ****** the euphemisms That cover up, and help justify marginalization Our identities, fighting to be Autonomous landscapes Hoping in anticipation for liberation Time to **** ****** massacre eurocentric ideology We preach no violence, being not them, just we But cannot request to be free, must tear it out by force Eurocentric ideological pandemic inhabiting, inhibiting the soul of mankind Unthinkable abomination concealed in the veil of appropriated minds Necessitating exorcism for the incarcerated conscious mind When we completely violate mandates of eurocentric ideology When only we appropriate our own identity When we all nullify the color of our skin As profanity or inadequacy Our identities, fighting to be Autonomous landscapes Hoping in anticipation for liberation Will be awaiting purgation from alienation

Ideological Pandemic (Abducting Identity)
Months burst with potential understanding Thyroid, Childhood Cancer, Breast Cancer And Autism - a landscape of perception I knew little once Before lived experiences carved pathways Of comprehension Hand flapping, repeated movie scenes Specific sensory needs Neurological landscapes diverse as humanity itself From verbal to non-verbal From sibling to parent From self-discovery at 34 My perspective widens like a lens Societal Echoes The world whispers harsh narratives "Discipline them" "Fix them" "Normalize" But we are not broken We are different Intricate neural networks Misunderstood symphonies Digital age amplifies cruelty Marginalization becomes performance Awareness transforms to spectacle, Unfolding Truth Intricate neural pathways Misread as discordant tunes The digital age sharpens cruelty's edge Marginalization dressed as entertainment Awareness turned into spectacle, A truth slowly unraveling Hatred cloaked in the guise of compassion Bigotry masquerading as care April - a month of performative understanding We see what others refuse to witness Complexity beyond simple categorization Humanity in all its beautiful, challenging variations Spectrum wide as consciousness Unbound by neurotypical constraints

The Cruelty of Compassion
Look, this woman is pregnant, In her second last chance to have a baby Perhaps a baby boy, or sexless, She is yet to give birth, Or even a still-birth Will be a land mark For those who feel for others, This September 2014 The midwife will attend to Europe, Mrs. Europe the mother of all nations Had been impregnated by reason, Voice of reason and consciousness, He fertilized her with the ductile germ, Full of cells for struggle against unit Against marginalization of the uncultured, Where the progressives in the oats’ mouth **** Now, a second last child is bound to be born Britain may be her foster mother, We pray for Britain to be strong In this moral duty of parenthood.

We are fighting faceless ghosts. Our fists fit the image Of flying rockets Directed to the unending mist, To the obscure silence Seconds after the shock wave of a bomb, Before you wake up to a world Screaming over your shoulders Corpse being carried by corpse to be, While you lie there, Voiceless, powerless; While you lie there, Realizing that a day’s sweat Is now mixed with your blood, And a night’s dream Is overshadowed by engine steam Till the image becomes so blurry You forget why you were working in the first place. Four people martyred next door- The neighborhood fell broken, Four people silenced- Hundreds have spoken, Sending their condolences to a country that died Before it ever lived, Sending their condolences to cognitive abilities- To the lack of them, Sending their condolences to a heart That was shattered by theory Before it got shattered by physicality, To a soul that was lost In the dark realms of marginalization And thought of light As flammable substance; Sending their condolences to a mother. A mother of a 16 year old boy, A mother of a man, A mother of a woman, A mother that lost all what’s left of her In a world Which once was a heaven Under her feet, As she walks The earth breathed her scent Until the day the earth became asphalt And the asphalt was covered with blood; Until the day our papers got shattered Our books, torched, Our thoughts buried Our mothers worried; I write this poem And it might be my last, All is left of me is paper, Like water transformed to water vapor- Droplets of me lingering on the edges Of the universe, Until one day I write dense enough To become rain, Heavy over our heads Reviving the grass roots of our thought Growing flowers Before wars; The same flowers we used To honor our dead. The same white flowers They’ll use To honor us.

Oh you can try. You can be conversational matter of fact learned and unemotional about the subject But I do know the why the reason the motivation behind your attempt at marginalization of what was accomplished by those who worked together to create something magical and succeeded beyond all expectations surpassing your project but in your mind only Those who worked so hard together don't hang in anticipation of your praise So they'll be fine and proud of what they achieved So, want to know a secret? The others in the room listening to you know what you're doing too and in the end you don't come off learned to anyone at all But appear as just a sad little jealous man.

Death show its ugliest face to those who suffer across generations, continents  and ships in the oceans; to those who chose freely who to like, to lay, to sleep, to live by; to those who stood against the ugliest face of death. Some face it daily, others will never know about it. Some lie between the ugliest face of death and the ugliest mask of life; some ride in gravy trains, enjoy grapes and wines, pulling long distance triggers pointing at miserables. Today, the ugly phantom of death haunts poor, black, gay, women, but it slowly leaks through the cracks of well written and yet shallow ideologies, creating a new kind of brain police, of modern uniformed zombies that run castles and emperors held by the backs of millions of Atlas with weakening knees, and exposed fleshes by whips of indifference, of forgetfulness, of inconsideration, of marginalization, of slave ships that run on wheels, of master captains never emancipated. Those who never saw the smiley face of a nurturing State, who never saw Justice balance out pain, misery, agony or fear, who never saw the compassion, the kindness or at least a look in the eye of a compassionate and kind People, those are the ones who see The Ugliest Face of Death. The returning phantom of a dictatorship is revealed by a heinous political crime, and Death, awaken from his sleep beauty, rejoice for the victory of violence. A poet once wrote "Knowledge is a deadly sin when no one sets the rules", but the truer message followed the utter: "the faith of all mankind is in the hands of fools".

Marginalization diminishes the spirit Eventually extinguishing it Until it no longer exists Whereas when we uplift someone We enhance the spirit and life We create spiritual magic Lift someone up today and help light the world Each time we do darkness disappears just a little Light is always stronger than darkness Be a keeper of the light and a light worker

Just take me for what I am Useless qualities and all Don't decide how I should be. Get to know every part of me. Escape from negative thoughts, Marginalization Expectations from society. No one but you can decide To see beauty instead of imperfections. Don't let yourself become a bully All of us should stand together. Yesterday is gone but we can try to be better tomorrow.
