Click “Lowes, you can do it we can help” Click “Dolly comes with everything you see here including stroller, bottle, and bib” Click “Destroy your enemy with NERF guns” Click “Play kitchen with real opening oven and microwave, learn to become a mommy just like you’ve always wanted” Click We live in a free society, one where we are independent and free to make our own choices....right We live in a country where anyone can become anything.....don’t we? Then every time I turn on the TV why am I flooded with heteronormative racist propaganda? Why is my future daughter forced to work in a kitchen and take care of the baby from age 5 and up? Why is my future sun told to fight against the evil invaders with nerf guns? Why are my future neighbors portrayed as white people with picket fences and perfect lawns I sit down click after click white after white, heterosexual after heterosexual, gender role after gender role. Pounded into our heads, indoctrinated by elegantly crafted hate speech. Rhetoric that has become so naturalized it fails to be seriously questioned Well I will question it! I will look for answers I will not sit by and watch our youth be molded into perfect Americans by the “free market” I WILL STAND UP, AND I WILL MAKE CHANGE!

my eyes are not windows to my soul they are a mirror of yours not because I want you to love me for someone im not but because I dont trust you, or anyone, to see through. To see through the tangled web of lies, fear, lonelyness self hatered and pitty I don’t want, anybody to see through that. For somebody to love me after all of that, well, they must be just as, well as aweful as me. I love you because I can see all of you. I love you because you are scared. I love you because you know just what to say even when I don’t want to hear it. I haven’t let you see in yet, but im working on it. every day I think about losing you, because Im too afraid to let you love me so every time we talk, i tell you a pice of my story. My eyes are not vindows to my soul they are a mirror of his, of hers of thiers Slowly, my mirror is reflecting back on me showing me that im not as aweful as I feel. Im also not as great as you say. But im getting htere Every time you call me georgous everytime you remember my favorite song or word or color you remember everything ive ever told you, even the lies. Now, you’ve seen it all. You’ve seen me at my darkest moments, youve seen me at my lowes points. You still love me. My eyes are not a mirror of your soul anymore. they are windows into mine.

My Eyes are not Window
“Honey you got yellow pollen all over your nose!” exclaimed the cashier at Walmart hurrying to hand me a tissue. I had stopped to ask her if 4 O’Clocks did well here in florida. “Oh-h-h” I giggled, “that’s from sniffing the Easter lilies.” Lately, I have been trying to figure out how to to add more fragrance to our southern garden. There is plenty of color, the hibiscus has donned her frilly, coquettish tangerine and red petticoats The double begonias are showing off gorgeous salmon pink bonnets much to the chagrin of their ******** clad penta sisters in neighboring ceramic pots Cape May daisies twirling dozens of yellow parasols caper coyly across the lush terrain and the newly planted milkweeds hold the promise of glorious monarch butterflies alighting on their burgeoning buds For me the paradise of having a garden right outside my door is a blessing of huge proportions a native New Yorker, I clearly remember gazing out my window only to be greeted by another building blocking any scrap of green or organic color the cluttered urban landscape had to offer Thanking the sales lady I dashed off to Lowes and found a jewel hiding amongst the rows of spring plants and avid garden shoppers Star of Tuscany a rose-like jasmine with a perfume scent only angels could have designed Whisking her away along with the enchanting confederate jasmine I hurried home to plant and welcome our sweet new companions Later that evening while swinging in the jhoola at Easter sunset scarlet, gold and purple hues cast a glow of hope over the garden of eden Mother Nature renews herself perennially shedding all that is not needed or useful she leaves the sepulcher behind wrapped in the throes and ecstasy of eternal love she gives birth to eternal life

Just want  to release my pain that I held inside so long I can't take it anymore Im Tired of these pills just to balance out the  high and lowes, Struggling threw life to find your meaning Running away from your fears I know that feeling Drinking, smoking, popping pills, ******* just to ease the demons Your Walking down a path that you dont walk down If you keep on going sooner or later you be passing your tombstone. Tears finally start to fall Then black  raven flying over drops a Fire rose A Dove flys Over drops a white rose Now you decided what rose you want to go.

fire & white rose
I woke on the precipice of doubt and remorse also I was on a painted blue cement floor. I had spent all the previous day painting said floor with broomstick rollers and discounts from Lowes. Lukus's dad gave me the money for paint and sent me off to pick it up, now I was recalling. The wooden garage was a new building in his arsenal of land he owned to house his various cars and motorcycles. He commissioned me to sweep and paint the floors yesterday, saturday, and I worked for 6 hours or more doing so. When I was finished I took the cash he gave me out of pity, and went to the bars with Nick and saw a Hadfield from school. I saw him when I was smoking a cigarette outside with my beer, even though beer wasn't allowed to leave the building. I kept asking him for *** and he kept making fun of me so before I could punch him I shut my eyes and asked Nick instead. Nick had just been busted at the Diner with intent to distribute, baggies filled out and ready for delivery in the trunk of his Honda. He didn't like it when I kept asking for *** so he turned away and went inside but I was drunk and walked to my car with my beer. I didn't pay the tab, but my car started just fine. I drove down to spring city and passed the apartment I had just been evicted from on my way to the run down garage I had just painted. I took the memory foam mattress that I had been keeping in my back seat as a bed out of my car and carried the hulking thing inside. When I laid it on the painted ground I was out of breath and gasping, so I fell on top of it and shut my eyes.
