"kangaroo" poems
Birds of a feather, Not unlike me, Love fine weather (When it’s pouring tea). Manners, wine and dining, too. Mantis, llama, kangaroo. Overmade, they do make over. Things so brittle like the rover Sent to Mars, the Milky Way, Bounty, sneaky in its way. Inbetwixt the words they utter, They choose bread over the butter. Frying French and grilling Jerry, Jamming jars of juicy berry. Duty-bound, they bound off duty. Flock together! Fly, my beauties! Plumes all owned. And not one borrowed. Standing still amidst the horror… Jokes aside, and folly ousted, Peace preferred to putrid bloodshed, They, like me, are hard to find… Seems, at last, I’ve lost my mind!

Birds Of A Feather
The emus formed a football team Up Walgett way; Their dark-brown sweaters were a dream But kangaroos would sit and scream To watch them play. "Now, butterfingers," they would call, And such-like names; The emus couldn't hold the ball - They had no hands - but hands aren't all In football games. A match against the kangaroos They played one day. The kangaroos were forced to choose Some wallabies and wallaroos That played in grey. The rules that in the West prevail Would shock the town; For when a kangaroo set sail An emu jumped upon his tail And fetched him down. A whistler duck as referee Was not admired. He whistled so incessantly The teams rebelled, and up a tree He soon retired. The old marsupial captain said, "It's do or die!" So down the ground like fire he fled And leaped above an emu's head And scored a try. Then shouting, "Keep it on the toes!" The emus came. Fierce as the flooded Bogan flows They laid their foemen out in rows And saved the game. On native pear and Darling pea They dined that night: But one man was an absentee: The whistler duck - their referee - Had taken flight.

I do not know how you see A peeing puppy you want me to be But I would rather have big feet And a long tail on my seat A pouch to hold my things Puppies You can always find them peeing Ah wanna be a f***ing kangaroo But because of stupid puppy lovers like you My dreams'll never come true

Puppies vs. Kangaroos
My family is a bunch of animals. My mother is a lioness, strong, brave, and full of pride, with claws sharp as knives, for anyone that harms her cub she will strike. my father is a hyena, foolish, never serious, and a lazy scavenger, that doesn't do anything but eat the crap that he creates. My grand parents are elephants, big and strong during the day, blind and helpless during the night. My aunts and uncles are the herd of gazelles, they graze when they can, but when the lioness comes they silence and run away with fear. My dogs are the shade that comforts me from the burning sun of life. The day has come when the lioness shall not roam the tall grasses of the Serengeti. Without the lioness the gazelles are persistently grazing, depleting the grass, grazing and depleting until there was no grass left for me to hide in, they rammed and bucked at me like I had no right to grieve. I was a helpless cub on that day and I still am, wondering when the lioness will show up to be my heroine again. But as the gazelles buck and ram, a kangaroo and a zebra rush in, embrace me, and take me in, I now have a second family with: a savage tiger, Italian chipmunks, boxing kangaroos, kick-ass monkeys, elderly turtles, burly bears, religious zebras, and untimely rabbits. My second family is diverse, but they never do the worst just as my first. This is a story that I usually don't tell, but this my past life so I must tell, tell, tell... This is what God raised me to be, This for me and only me. One day the light will show for me, and me and the lioness will forever again be free, to roam the plains in the skies above, just like a dove.

helpful kangaroo
Show in contented rest bringing ghosts company wished greenly how did you know? Bleeding on too long they had to be cut down from hooks and ropes in order of feeding. Liars causing problems complicated sacrament with slickness under blackberry briars. Safe from hawks stay in Juicyland where it's prickly free from **** This song triples guessed foxy playing hard around leafy bush only snake does not miss. Dance my badger spirit agile amongst complexity ward off and wander. Kangaroo mouse prance. Survival in stickers only seasonal escape. Where to hide from next your sly rival?

If a fish Could make a wish for what would this fish wish ? a wishing fish you say, tosh tish but if you were a wishing fish would you wish for a new dish ? or a knish ? what would a fish do with a dish ? and how would he eat a knish ? but if you knew a wishing fish exactly what would this fish wish? If you saw a little bunny on a tree stump counting money would you think that it was funny if he used it to buy honey to eat outside while it was sunny Just where would that little bunny get a bag full of such money To me that just seems rather funny If you saw a blue canoe being paddled by a kangaroo wearing shoes size sixty two Tell me just what would you do if there beside that kangaroo sat a rather large and old gnu I think I would call the zoo but, tell me what it is you'd do A bunny, fish and kangaroo were all out walking two by two they were followed by a large gnu I think this rather strange don't you? I don't know just what I would do If I saw walking two by two A bunny, fish and kangaroo in fact i do not have a clue but I know the fish's wish don't you?

Suessical gibberish (completed)
I Said the Duck to the Kangaroo, 'Good gracious! how you hop! Over the fields and the water too, As if you never would stop! My life is a bore in this nasty pond, And I long to go out in the world beyond! I wish I could hop like you!' Said the duck to the Kangaroo. II 'Please give me a ride on your back!' Said the Duck to the Kangaroo. 'I would sit quite still, and say nothing but "Quack," The whole of the long day through! And we'd go to the Dee, and the Jelly Bo Lee, Over the land and over the sea;-- Please take me a ride! O do!' Said the Duck to the Kangaroo. III Said the Kangaroo to the Duck, 'This requires some little reflection; Perhaps on the whole it might bring me luck, And there seems but one objection, Which is, if you'll let me speak so bold, Your feet are unpleasantly wet and cold, And would probably give me the roo- Matiz!' said the Kangaroo. IV Said the Duck ,'As I sate on the rocks, I have thought over that completely, And I bought four pairs of worsted socks Which fit my web-feet neatly. And to keep out the cold I've bought a cloak, And every day a cigar I'll smoke, All to follow my own dear true Love of a Kangaroo!' V Said the Kangaroo,'I'm ready! All in the moonlight pale; But to balance me well, dear Duck, sit steady! And quite at the end of my tail!' So away they went with a hop and a bound, And they hopped the whole world three times round; And who so happy,--O who, As the duck and the Kangaroo?

kangaroo playtime
The sun bakes down heavily on a plastic micro planet in Orlando, Florida where crowded trams drop American bushels of tourists into an alien world. Quickly fantasy comes alive through a corporation of disguise. The workers mask themselves in a drapery of familiar life -like costumes to charm little children’s hearts. They smile wildly, carving a clear dimple line on the but of their cheeks. Walt’s Disney World must have driven every one of America’s circuses out of business. The flying trapeze is too elegant, people now want to be strapped in, buckled up and whipped around to forcibly experience the true velocity of entertainment. Even the participant’s attire is geared for this third world oblivion. Neon ***** packs rest like bloated kangaroo pouches on fat sweaty old lady’s round hips, their plump fingers holding on to leashed harnesses reined to their child’s small chest. This is vacation, strangers of people in massive conglomerations with confused expressions and burnt faces. Even the food seems wickedly unnatural, like an artificial order of burning plastic and sour dough surprise. Waiting is the enthusiast’s pastime as parades of anxious voyeurs are captivated by a trance fixation of lights and whistles. They line up like schools of lemming, plunging on rides, one by one. This is the place Where memories are made And dreams come true

kind kangaroo
I used to live in a country That was based on liberty And where just anybody Could achieve prosperity That with assured equality And working diligently One could expect definitely To succeed economically If you saved all the money Left over from your salary To save to bring your family A step closer to solvency. Not an impossible proposition, It was based on the condition Of a grand national institution Which promised that stabilization By taxing us and corporations With an equitable correlation Between folks of humble station And the larger organizations Working in happy syncopation. A welcome feeling of elation Would descend upon our nation And keep us from stagnation Or going into nationwide deflation, Or just as scary, a huge inflation. Now I look upon our history And see decades of misery Laid upon us by calumny By those meant to fortify And build up our security. The constant forces of calamity If we accept less than probity From those who have no honesty Choosing leaders based on beauty A national cult of personality Then permit political chicanery By people with no dignity Only a greedy criminality That pretends to propriety And a devout base of spirituality When what we have is actually A kangaroo court of dishonesty Without a care for the citizenry.

Rain showers, mazes uncovered Dancing like a little child with a toy Reclaimed as the drizzles recovers Pouncing  jumps like a kangaroo The winter burns as the fire blaze Warmed by the ambience of the logs Reflections denuded, secrets unearthed Times lost bouncing like a ball Bare and **** in the cool mist and fog A shadowy phantom arises me An Orion exhibit, my alpha constellation Carving me out of the hidden cave

Sweet dreams are made of cheese
He thought he saw an Elephant That practised on a fife: He looked again, and found it was A letter from his wife. "At length I realize," he said, "The bitterness of life!" He thought he saw a Buffalo Upon the chimney-piece: He looked again, and found it was His Sister's Husband's Niece. "Unless you leave this house," he said, "I'll send for the police!" he thought he saw a Rattlesnake That questioned him in Greek: He looked again, and found it was The Middle of Next Week. "The one thing I regret," he said, "Is that it cannot speak!" He thought he saw a Banker's Clerk Descending from the bus: He looked again, and found it was A Hippopotamus. "If this should stay to dine," he said, "There won't be much for us!" He thought he saw a Kangaroo That worked a Coffee-mill: He looked again, and found it was A Vegetable-Pill. "Were I to swallow this," he said, "I should be very ill!" He thought he saw a Coach-and-Four That stood beside his bed: He looked again, and found it was A Bear without a Head. "Poor thing," he said, "poor silly thing! It's waiting to be fed!"

join me in a waste of precious time
Your party an animal affair The elephant and kangaroo A dog in a ruff, upside down on a tub And a friendly cockatoo. We all sat round the ring The lights were bright The music a jaggedly song Then in came Queen Bee On her trapeze. Mr clown took a leap But missed the band In Queen Bee’s hand Gliding safely To earth by his feet. Love Grandma ***

Evelyn and Queen Bee.
Last Christmas grandmother told anyone who would listen that she quit the wine. She said it once as my father cracked open a bottle of *** She said it again serving the ham; mentioned it in passing while gramps polished off a bottle of Malbec; she said that last summer in the hot-tub at Laurie’s she had a bit too much Sangria and got out and fell on the pavement, cutting up her knees real bad --- she said that she couldn’t even believe it was happening, she couldn’t believe that she drank so much. I could believe it. Gram had always been a bit of a drinker; her sober stinging words caught you good enough even when she was on her best behavior. Imagine when she was unhinged! Talking while her teeth were all red was like getting sucker punched by a kangaroo; Gramps got all loose and loud, Gram got all hot and bothered and mean. Don’t get me wrong. If I could, I’d drown in a pool of whiskey, choke on the amber stream from the tap. But I don’t lie about it! I don’t talk about it; I don’t lie about it. I’ve been sneaking sips since I was 14, and I’ve been drinking pools of the stuff since I was 17 and if you asked anyone they might not believe you. I wonder if punching people in the face and choke holding them into doing what you want them to do is a past-time. Most people drink to get nice. People like her drink to get mean.
