Back again in Peru Exhaustian soaked into my essence Through & through I know this too Will soon cease to be As my Fathers Presence Is always with me I shall always receive His precious gift His Holy Spirit To accompany me No matter how overwhelming The situation appears to be I must endure in order to Truly recieve the Holy Spirit's Purpose for me I shall give Him True faith and fully endure For in true repentence My future is secure To step forward I must spread His word Let others know These truths I have heard Most of all to let them know If you give Him Your faith He will Cleanse your soul Which in return Will make you whole

IQUITOS STATE OF MIND
A word of encouragement: The sun is on its way down over the city of Iquitos and the clouds are beginning change colors. I notice once again the multitude of vultures that are perpetually soaring, circling thousands of feet over this city. I wonder to myself "why the effort to climb so high when you have an endless supply of food in the markets and trash dumps of the city?" It doesn't make much sense in terms of survival. But as I look at these normally ugly birds that spend their day sifting through the refuse of mankind, I can't help but think that maybe they take these moments, this time and effort to climb high above the noise and the smell of waste so that they can feel the freedom and joy that it is to simply enjoy God's beautiful creation. Maybe if they didn't soar through the golden hues of sunset with a clear beautiful breeze each day, they wouldn't be able to stand eating garbage. There are so many parallels that could be made to our everyday lives, but if I could encourage you with 1 thing it's this: compare these two pictures, they are the exact same species of bird and could have been taken within minutes of one another. Be careful not to judge someone from just a snapshot of their lives. Try to look at the person from a complete viewpoint. Also for you personally- try every day to soar, whether that be a moment of reflection, time with your spouse or children, prayer, taking a walk, or just putting your phone down for a few minutes. You will find that the garbage you wade through each and every day will be much easier to deal with. Much love and blessings. MICHAEL FIORE

One year ago I went on a trip to Peru I thought I was going there to help the needy Turns out I was the one who learned A lesson or two About, what's important in life And just whose, who Their bright sunshine awakened spirit in my soul The joyous citizens who had no material gain Had more hope and love than I have ever sustained They were thankful for all From sunshine to rain, Even vultures were appreciated, They were tools in their world to help them maintain They did not even pressure me To buy their goods Like we do in America, In business training, they tell us we should The trip opened my eyes to appreciate Everything in life, that I see It made me realize how blessed I am to be me I should always thank Our Father For everything daily and always enjoy my life gaily.

IQUITOS~PERU
Mamacita Coke-bottle figures are motivation to get close to you. I arrive to Spain clinging Molotov Cocktails (it’s not Spanish but least it’ll do) to see blossoming tulip dresses I bend kneecaps to Barcelona, Medellin, Buenos Aires, Santiago, Puerto Rico Mexico City, Madrid to get a sense of your flower-nightlife Swallow Iquitos, hills of white rice fields. Conquistador I bachata-bachata love you gyrating exoskeletons to Reggeton

Mamacita
Gazing into these Stormy clouds today Have my mind wandering far away In Iquitos With My son's family Or perhaps back into My childhood times I would love to be Then my mind attains Realization so true If I Abide in Christ There will be a time I will be with You All the loneliness Will disappear Meaning of life will Become quite clear Thank You Father For clearing my mind Reminding me to Never waste Divine time
